I even tried using the original and old school Paints program and it turned the red I was going to paint on to gray! Being a Linux PC user, I'm mostly into using Amarok. However, Rhythembox isn't too bad, and if you just search for a bunch in the repositories you'll find a wack of different music playing programs, there is bound to be one for anyone, sense there are so many of them. On a Macintosh PC I guess you would use iTunes, not a usual Mac user so I cannot say much about the media players. However, I happen to know iTunes works a LOT better on a Macintosh than a Windows based computer, I would say because of the interface and sloppy coding on the part of Apple for the Windows version of it. On a Windows based PC I would suggest, Winamp, Amarok, (which I'm not too sure how it'd run on Windows), and there is of course, Itunes, but if you're looking for something somewhat faster, but still have functionality, I'd recomend Amarok, as it is programmed in C++, and has performed quite well for me. Then again thats just my opinion, really it's up to whatever you want to run, try them all, that way you can decide. Oh and check out VLC, it is great for playing just about any media file. -reply by alex

Racism...Why Does The World Hate America?Racism is still a problem in this country, but it's not what you expect. I am hispanic. I work in a work place full of african americans. When the presidential election was happening they would say "If Obama doesen't win, it's because he is black". Are they serious? How can they even say that? Maybe he wouldn't win becuase he was not the right man for the job, or he was not qualified enough, but no. These women would rather fall onto that all "He did not succeed because he is black". This is the same B.S. They use for all kinds of situations. It all comes down to race. I am tired of comments like "We need a black James Bond," or "We need a black Karate Kid". Why is this even an issue? What if we wanted to remake "the Cosby show" with white people, do you think that would be ok? No. Why, because they we would be called racist. See, it's a double standard. Yes, I know slavery was terrible. I read the history books and Yes, I get it. But that was hundreds of years ago. People really need to get over it. Did you know we still have slavery in the you.S. It's all the illegal immigrants who work as slaves just so they can have room and board in white people's homes. I found out my doctor is a real jerk who probably doesn't care if he lets someone die when he could have helped them. Don't expect any help if you are in REAL pain! They seem to run the same tests over and over again, and nothing different. Even if your tests are abnormal, you may be told it is completely normal, so make sure you get a copy of them. I have the run around from so many doctors, some who tell me that something is wrong and need to see a surgeon and then there is him who sasys it is psycholoical. I am going to see a specialist for condition, in which I have had surgery on. My condition is not curable, I will have to have more surgeries more than likely for it. He seems to think it is curable. Keeps prescribing the same things over and over again, and then I have to go to the ER because the pain reaches a point of can't handle it! I have no relief. This is what happens when he listens to ONE single doctor who only ran ONE test on me and not in the correct area, and said that there is nothing wrong - um although the test indicates different! Do yourself a favor and ask others about who is a good doctor to go to. Trust me I thought he was the best doctor around and could trust him, and I find now that I cannot.

Be a parent. TAKE THE ADMIN RIGHTS. Install the software. Feel free to tell them its on there. Check the logs routinely. If you show up to check the machine and it's not on there, TAKE AWAY THE PC. You are the parent. Act like it. If they can't use the PC abiding by your rules, then they lose that privilege. I'm, chat etc, is a privilege not a right. As is PC usage. Don't worry about hiding it, let them know it's there and let them know you're checking on them. They may h8 you 4 it now, but when they grow up, they'll appreciate it. Particularly when their kids start acting like 13 year-olds should have privacy.
