okay, in this simple tutorial i'm gonna show you how to make a starburst effect with gimp first select your fg and bg, these will be your starburst's colors use your Gradient (blend) tool to make a gradient stroke through the canvas ( as shown above ) now go Filters > Distorts > Blinds it should now look something like this: now use filter Distorts > Poloar what ever once finished it should look like this: there you go! a perfect starburst in gimp!

The game development community often praises languages like C and C++ for their raw performance and portability, although they can be very hard to learn for a beginner with no background experience. Just keep in mind that you aren't limited to just C and C++ just because they receive alot of praise; languages like Python, Visual Basic and Lua are often better choices for first-timers due to their simpler syntax and extensive capabilities(though each person varies in tastes and capabilites). For macro/utility development, any language is suitable provided it's compatible with the major operating systems. A common choice is Java and Python, but most languages are suitable for such. (sorry if I derailed my post ... I tend to do that :/ ) All in all, it just depends on what kind of person you are. My personal recommendation is to do a bit of research. Ask questions on programmers' forums, visit languages' home pages and get a grasp of how things work and try to find a language that suits your tastes and interests. As for the original question, C# is more like Java than anything. Chances are if you know Java, you probably know C# aswell. C++ could be considered the black sheep of the three. I don't know much about it, but it's unlike C# and Java.

In Istaria, you can play as a dragon. This game has good graphics but takes a LONG, LONG time to become an adult and fly. In Fly Like A Bird 1, 2, and 3 you can be different birds like seagulls, crows, starlings, eagles, and pigeons and you can poo on other birds and people, eat, build nests, just fly around, lay eggs, raise chicks, and just RP in 3 different rooms: an island, a city, and hills. This game is really fun. There is also a game calledWolfQuest, where you can RP, chat, free roam, howl, run around, sit, lay down, sleep, sneak and stalk prey, walk around, play bow, urinate, swim, raise and protect pups, bite, jump, wag you tail, and hunt. Good graphics. Knight of the Dragon, where you can be a red or green dragon or a knight. Okay graphics. There is also a good PS3 game where you can have horse mounts, bull mounts, buffalo mounts, and mule mounts. With many other animals you can hunt. This is an online game and a single player game. It's called Red Dead Redemption... lol I don't know if that would help but there are cool mounts on there.

Ugh! I can't log in to my account. I haven't been on it in about 6 or 7 years. Exatctly the same thoughts as above. I also had a 6 month(!) battle to get this game to work last year after buying it for $75!?!? here in Oz. Unfortunately, I had to format my computer recently. This required another re-install battle to get the game loaded by disk, but now I am in my third day of "preparing to launch Empire total war" and "steam servers are busy" messages of the so called game update process. When I had contact with steam support and sega, they gave me the old excuse about package statements and internet access to steam to play the game. I mentioned to them that it does not say that my game is not playable directly from the disk, but required extra expense on my part (downloading/internet access is not free!) to update the game. I told them that I would be making a complaint to our Consumer Affairs Commission, about their, in my opinion, defective/deceptive product. I still have not seen/heard anything in any forum anywhere (from steam) on this issue, or about any improvements that they have made to their process. Fix it Steam!, and everyone else involved in this game/franchise.

SO frustrated with newer browsers being what I assume is secure... or not. On this topic, the only 'solution' I've found is this: make sure the page was opened using JavaScript or even a link ( a href ). This WILL close full-size windows/tabs. After trying every suggestion in this thread (thank you all for taking the time!), I found that only by opening a window/tab via a link/JS was I able to get the *.close() functionalities to work. Hi! I was wondering if any of you would know how do you play custom maps on multiplayer? I was able to make multiplayer work on LAN and on ICP protocol but when I want to put custom maps, there is a message that says to me that my friend doesn't have the custom map or a different one. What's strange is that the game could started one time but I had to restart it because we didn't have the civilisations we were supposed to have. If anyone can tell me how I can send my custom map to my friend game would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have a Panasonic Lumix DCS-ZS7 and I am having s strange issue playing back a JPEG video file.Using the program PHOTOfunSTUDIO I transfered a saved video from a previous SD card taken with camera. It is a .mov file and plays perfectly video and audio when played from within the program, no issues. When I transfer the video to the camera with a new SD card using this program the video plays perfect, but no audio.The file structure on the camera appears to be fine. I can not figure out why the camera does not play the audio.Can anyone help me with this?

I do hate smokers. If my family started smoking I would hate them well on the outside i would anyway. If i ran a country i would personally kill all smokers, they would probably stop b4 i got to em though. Hi, I have been going out with my boyfriend for 4 years. I was great at the beginning but now I am starting to wonder if I am continuing to go out with him just because it is comfortable and I have someone to be with.
