Hi, I had this problem for about two weeks, my system is a p35 neo with q9300 quad 8gb ddr2 800 ram, a 9800 gtx gpu. Running windows 7. Silky smooth and fast, then bsod, I tried everything the error codes varied as did the bsod codes. I did mem86 test. Ran geek squad, removed ram hard drives you name it I did it. Then I found the problem. One of the white plastic pegs on the heatsink caddy had broken, lifting the heatsink slightly the cpu overheated and random bsod. Easy fix new better fitting heatsink, system perfect again. I downloaded msi's dual core centre (free) great little tool,this highlighted the overheating problem. Vista/XP service pack problemsWindows "updates" Crashed Your Computer?Last month I installed both recent SPs, for Vista on a fair Gateway PC running Vista quite reliably (if 'reliably' is a word to be used in the same sentence as 'Vista'), and on a slightly older but very reiliable Fujitsu XP machine. Both machines are now vastly slower (especially when running IE7) and the PC is repeatedly crashing when using Outlook. How is it that a Microsoft update is screwing their own software? I can only assume that the looming Windows 7 (which I have heard first hand from a beta-tester is pretty good - athletic and simple) has some bearing on the problem. There are potential huge sales to be made of W7 this Christmas, and in the current recession what better way to force the public to but than to issue upgrades which trash the current (and in the case of Vista) impenetrable and unfixable operating systems. My PC boots not regularly one times, it displays, BIOS corrupted, Book Disk failure,Computer Suddenly Turning OffMy PC does not boot automatically, so also, does not restart automatically. When I tried to booit, it displayed, 'boot disk error', At once, I changed the HARD DISK of 160 GB. Again, the same problem arises. But sometimes, it boots slowly. Sometimes, it displays that both BIOS and Registry are corrupted. Even it boots, it somes automatically shuts down. I have installed AVG Anti Virus. Please do let me know what is the exact problem. I doubt whether there is a problem with the SATA PORT or CABLE. I found it difficult to make partitions and install the OS. Only after taking pains and after 4 hours, I could install the OS after making partition. Please do let me know the correct solution. If I want to turn 170 degrees left, up 20, I can hit that spot in a fraction of a second with a mouse. Using my xbox stick? PC not booting up after restatring CMOSPc Does Not BootHi. I'm using a Asus M2N-E motherboard and when I do a CMOS restart HDD's start to spin Fan of VGA,Processor and main fan also start spinning but there is no picture on the screen and it seems the bios doesn't start up. About half a year ago I had the same problem but I couldn't solve it so I brought it to a technician but couldn't see what he did in order to be able to do it my self. I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong nor with my VGA card nor with my Monitor and RAm since they were running just fine today. I was trying out some things and the PC freezed so I decided to shut it down and start up since I don't have a reset button but there was no response from the button and shut the power from it directly. Thought first that my CPU got fried but still restarted the CMOS and again nothing happened. After a few minutes I checked the cable connecting the button to the motherboard and it was disconnected. I have the same problem my pc/laptop was unable to detect my dvd drive both at system bios and explorer, there's no drive letter found, I tried updating the bios driver, it work for awhile but after a few seconds my drive is no longer detectable, I have a Acer 4736Z laptop running on window 7. This happened after I upgraded my OS from Windows Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit support. Now I can not reformat my laptop, please help, I would greatly appreciate it.

All of you atheists are so biased and blind. What you are saying is that ALL energy just appeared, which even scientifically is inaccurate. Even if the Big Bang theory is true, you still cant say how, who, or what created that little thing that exploded without assuming it is a higher being then us (AKA God) How else can your atheist little *bottom* explain life? That all life just formed from a few rocks and kept evolving? No, that is not possible because how can there be life before any other life is present to reproduce? Unless something created it that already is living it can not be made. So without the AID of another living being, other life can't be made. It must be sad living life beliving there is no purpose of you living with nothing to look forward to when its over. What do you believe then??? That when you die, you just see black. Or what? Plus, how can you explain how every animal has relatively the same organs, lungs/gills, heart, brain, etc.. Do you just think that all of these are just coincidences? Or that evolution from one single-celled organism kept reproducing to make the millions of different species we have discovered? That theory makes NO SENSE what so ever. How can 1 species breed and make another species? It's like 2 dogs breeding and having a cat(s). Yes, beings can change over time but they can't all of a sudden end up as 2 different species. Aiming, landing the shot before his FPS tells him you landed is a WINNER. But however tread with caution if you are not experienced and new to OC'ing.
