I also am one of few who can say God has blessed me well past my mistakes. Although it's sad but very true, beauty sells especially in America. With that realization, an exceptional resume, college education and the look & talk that say's I am qualified, my last corporate employer created a position for me paying over $40,000 annually with no mention of a background for the 5 years there. After all was said and done, I began to realize I am one of very few ever afforded this opportunity. This isn't bragging or boasting, it's mere honesty and God's true example of being greater than man. I suffered an automobile accident that has since left me disabled. However, I never stop considering those who weren't as fortunate but walk my path alone. For several years I wondered what God's calling was on my life. In 2007 it became clear. I attempted start-up of a nonprofit organization assisting families in tragedy. Today, I have a honest yearning to include some changes that will employ non-violent convicted felons. My honest concern is who would be dedicated to working hard to prove to America that a second chance is all MOST CONVICTED FELONS need, desire and are truly seeking??? My idea is incorporating a non-profit program that will provide bonding, training, insurance and employment in commercial janitorial cleaning across 5 different states to all non-violent felons ONLY. I've tried simply loading slideshow.Swf into control.Swf, and it loads fine, however, the actionscript that makes the slideshow work doesn't appear to be coming along. So, I exported it and included it in control.Swf -- but it's still not playing correctly, and I am receiving no errors. Separately, the slideshow works properly - loading in images, text, and links from an external xml Control.Swf code: loadMovie("slideshow.Swf", _root.Tier5_mc); #include "loadInfo.As" Do I need to tell control.Swf where to include the code? It should be global correct? I'm obviously doing something wrong, I've seen sites that use loadMovie to load in navigation (presumably xml based), slideshows, ect into one swf, so pieces can be worked on separately... ANIMAL TESTING IS WRONG!!!!A Debate On Animal Testing YES animal testing IS cruel and needs to be stopped IMMEDIATLY. This is because of how many poor innocent animals that have to be put through testing just because they can't do ANYTHING about it. Animals should have the same rights as humans too. Animals aren't just put on this earth to be tested on. They are put here for our enjoyment, they aren;t just random little toys for humans to mess with, they are creatures, just like us. I believe animal testing is DIGUSTING because of what happens to the animals when they are tested on a product. Would you want to look at your dog everyday and think there is another dog somewhere else being testing on and being tortured? Would you want to think of YOUR dog or any other pet you have, to go through that sort of a thing.. Well I don't THINK SO. So I hope I am proving a point to any of you who believe animal testing is right (which I really do feel sorry for you) I wish you were put into animals perspective to see how they felt. ACER SucksAcer Customer SupportI purchased a laptop June 2009, the right hinge broke in October 2009, system still functioned. When I called support (left on hold for 45 mins) to let them know the issue they immediately said the issue was not under warranty, because I opened it when it didn't want to be opened, that I should have left it closed and sent it in for repair. After finally getting a rep to understand that the hinge was a mechanical issue and should be cover under the 1 year manufacturers warranty, I sent the system in for repair. Low and behold I get a phone call this morning informing me that they found liquid damage. The system has never been near any liquid whatsoever and it will be $190 to repair the hinge. How ironic that I had already taken the system back to the store where I purchased it and they said it should be covered under the warranty, so I should send it back to ACER for free repair rather than paying them to fix a completely new laptop that wasn't even 6 months old. They did warn me that ACER would probably not honor the warranty and find some issue to say would void the warranty.I told the ACER customer service rep to return my laptop and will make sure that I let everyone know to never purchase an ACER product. I guess you get what you pay for, I should have purchased the SONY like my co-worker told me too. You would think that companies would want satisified customers, but I guess ACER doesn't care.-reply by Imman
