Hey man, that site really rocks, another site that is just like the Micro$oft is microscum.com and I am a memeber of their forum, i'll just warn all, that this site is'nt conten safe, it contains some porno, but surely this site rocks as it shows every "ill" part of Micro$oft. This site is a Must see too. Hey, this site also has that dum Windows XP logon music as a welcome music. Switch on your speakers! They also have some videos and pics where bill and his team are getting emberassed.

Thats the spirit my frined, no one seems to understand this at all. The whole world is ignorant about this, what can we do. We (hackers) are treated as out-casts in communities and socities. Why dont people understand the crackers are the criminals, not hackers. And even in hacking there are several different categories where there are some illegal things, but most of the time it is crackers who do some illegal stuff. Most hacker (at least whom I know) are ethical.

I just got my-slef of IPB, I finished setting it up (Its on hosted on Xisto). Now I want to add a shout box just similiar to Xisto's shoutbox, also if anyone could help me out in the credit system Xisto uses to reward members for their post. Please help me on these to topics.

I don't know if there is a 'right' way, but here is what I usually do: I write the code locally and then run it through my local install of XAMPP to debug the script and when it is completed ( debugged to what i think it needs for the site it belongs to ) then I upload it and test the script again using the Host's versions of the php, mysql, etc. There can be version differences and the installations are never indentical, so there are bound to be 'some' difficulties appear. If the problems are minor, I use the cpanel editor to fix the scripts/pages. If there is a major difficulty, like a logic modification required, then I re-work the script locally and repeat the procedure. Keeping the test phase local is easier since ftp is not required and the server load isn't a concern ( for me or the other users ). This also avoids putting the server into an infinite loop and hogging the server from other users, but, of course, that has never happened to me because all my Logic is rock solid right from the git-go ( yeah, right! ) Anyway, hope this helps. Also, I am using a text editor by the name of ConTEXT which is a freeware product and is a very nicely designed, full function text editor. Highlighting by file extension, and lots of other good features for coding. ganeshn11, the reason is they don't want tonnes of people calling them for support because their software that probably still runs on Windows 95, is not working because they can not use .html as an extension.As I said, it was to make it compatible for these systems, but you should realise now that it's hardly likely that these are the systems you'll be running on anymore, plus if you know the reasons why .htm over .html, then you could easily adjust your editor to fix it, otherwise those who don't know, can just leave it as is, and hopefully it'd still work.Editors cannot assume anything, and must work with the most compatible extension, which was the 3 letter extension because of limitations.This is similar to XHTML extension, .xhtml or .xht and why it has a 3 letter extension, again limitation in some Operating Systems extensions (maybe until support is dropped for them will they move on). If there was no problems then they'd force people to not be lazy, as see .xht can be confusing to many, but seeing .xhtml a lot more people would understand what type of document it is, that way writing it in full is beneficial.Cheers,MC

Forget SMF, I have even cracked IPB. Talking about finiding it on the net, its a piece of cake. (I dont think I am allowed to talk abt, crack, warez... I might as well stop right here). I like using phpBB even though I know it can be cracked very easily, the one thing I like with phpBB is that its sleak looks that no other BBS can offer and its user friendly administration pannel. I would like mention one more thing, -- you should never use phpBB for any serious stuff. If it is just for personal, then go ahead with phpBB.

You do not need to be sure as none of them are correct. Actually you are partially correct, when a webmaster submits his/her site, it does not get listed so easily, there are people called ODP Volunteers who maintain the directory. These people review each and every site submitted to them care fully and after through check the list on their directory, mind you that getting listed on the ODP is'nt easy. Once you have got listed on their directory the rest part of promoting your site becomes a little relaxed as all the major search engines add these site on the ODP to their index. I think GMail is the best email host around, come-on just look at its features, 2.7GB of storage and an intergrated email search. Which other free email provider would provide that kind of service, apart from those features I just mentioned there is the POP3 and SMTP feature which I think none of the free email service providers give, let alone Yahoo! and Hotmail. And even if you are using your regular web-browser just see how fast GMail loads every message, folders, options, etc once you have logged-in. I have been using GMail since it ever started, as soon as it was let for the public to use (apart from their staff) there was'nt anything like the present system of invitaion.Google also offers universal use of the GMail account with all its partner sites and its other services. Go get it, you are missing something.

Is the page uploaded for us to see and what (exactly) is the warning or error message when you try to validate?

Post it here inside a [ code box ] and we'll all have a look at it and might be able to find out what the problem is. First question I have is: Are you running it Local or on a Host? If Local, are you running it through a web Browser as Localhost ( sillier mistakes have been made ). Is the Server running? and mysql server?Do a view source to see what html is being output and that might give you a clue as to what is happening. Error reporting On or Off? Set it 'On' for debugging purposes.

Come on man, it is'nt that bad, when you installed it you should have renamed and made a copy of that keneral file and boot.ini, and one more thing before you do anything to your boot.ini file, dont modify your current setting (OS definig path), instead just add another path, that way you can be sure that even if the boot-screen instation fails you can use the original OS listing to acces your comp and reverse all that you had done. Just try it once more! Its a very nice boot screen, that shows that you are a hacker or atleast you support hacking. Get it, its a must. Click here to download the boot screen.

Yes surely it will, if you do not read the manual I provided. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY. If you follow all me instructions written in plain english then I am sure you can change your boot screen without any problems. And if you dont and your system does not behaves normal for whatever reason do not blame me for that. I am not giving any support for that boot screen. Yeah nice though, good idea. But just think about it, when you want some help from 911 I dont think anyone here is going to text message them saying "Help, Help! I am in trouble." I think its by AssetMetrix, and its title is SP2 Acceptance - just gave this info so that you might avoid the download if you have read it before.

Hey come on man, not every one is impatent, I know that every one hates to see that Windows logo everytime it keeps booting (almost everytime it is booting due to errors). If you want to avoid this stinking logo, then you should try this boot-screen. By the way, I designed the boot-screen and I assure you its 100% safe, I have also included an instruction file incase you dont know how to do it.As I am a hacker, support me and my hacking friends bu putting up this boot-screen.

I dont think that this is the right explanation to such a good topic, I use Microsoft FrontPage XP, Dreamweaver and Nvu and all the three by default save the web page in the .HTM format and not .HTML. I dont think that these webpage edititors are lazy. There must be some hardcore reason behind all this other than the DOS and Unix problem. Ok if it is for webpages, I can understand all that operating system differences, server problems and that lazy spoof. But what about that .jpg and .jpeg format of images, I dont think there is anyone who can answer this. It may sound really wierd but, I dont know why it is like this. Some has to form a group or an organiztaion to set standards in extensions also.

Hey people I have a problem, Each and every-time I try to login to my account Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 shows me a page tell that "There is a problem with this website's security certificate." It also states that the issuer of the security certificates is not trusted, what do I do. Just for now I did not bother about it and I continued to my cPanel as i trust Xisto. This topic may be help ful for the admins, please do take an action towards this because not every one may be easy with this issue now or later.
