Page can not be displayed in ie7 but can be in mozilla firefox. Internet Explorer 7 Problem It suddenly happened that ie7 was unable to load pages. Tensed with the problem I installed firefox1 and tried, page opened and in firefox 2, it was even better. IE7 is of no use to me now. SEEING & GLASSES When Good Eyes Go Bad When I was 17 years old I had to get glasses my eyesite was pretty bad. I totally hated them. I wore them as little as possible. My boyfriend then, hated the way I looked in them and I felt I didn't get positive feedback from my peers. After I graduated from High School and moving out of parents house I threw them out. Today I am 32 yrs old and about 5-6 years ago I tried to get contacts. That was a total bust and waste of money, I couldn't get them in or out, or I would get one in & not the other. I basically have got away without seeing that good for the last 13 years. My boyfriend of 2 years, noticed repeatedly that I was aways squinting and he thought I needed glasses. I told him I know and I hate them. He told me he would love me as much if I would have to wear glasses. He would ask me over & over did I make an eye doctor appointment. I would shirt the issue. About 4 months ago he made a deal with me, If would go to the eye doctor and get glasses and wear them in the matter he suggested for one month he would take out his white boy dreadlocks ( I hated them). This something I dreaded for along time but I agreed to do this. He made an appointment with eye doctor and came with me. Well my worst fear happened, the eye doctor told me that I needed glasses and I should wear them all the time except for reading. I felt very cold in my stomach and all I could think the words " WEAR GLASSES ALL THE TIME" & I was going to be a glasses girl. My boyfriend took me one of one hour places for glasses & by evening I had my glasses. I put them on that night & he told me I looked very sexy in them & I looked beautiful in glasses ( I thought yeah sure). I resisted for awhile & found every reason why I wasn't wearing them. The prescription was strong & eye doctor did tell us it may take some time to get use to. My boyfriend got mad at me with my excuses & I started to wear them & I guess in about 2 weeks I was wearing my glasses all the time. My friends & fellow workers basically liked the way I looked glasses. I began to get use to wearing glasses ( couldn't see without them ). I also felt I was treated differently in my glasses like more serious,brainy & sexy. Within one month I began to love wearing my glasses and love the way looked in them and most importantly being able to see. I couldn't wait to buy new pair of frames. I love wearing glasses and I wear them all the time except when take a shower. I also refuse to take them off when we make love and the sex has been great. I would never get contact or the surgery. I even think if my vision would be magically 20/20 I still wear glasses. I asked boyfriend this year for xmas to buy new pair of glasses. I am a glasses girl forever. -glassesgirl

adding text in VB Visual Basic 6.0 Help Needed I am trying to create my own little word processor. My first goal is to add a character every time you press a button. I seem unable to add characters to the text box. My button click just replaces the text in the box with a single letter over and over. I just don't seem to know the code or property to do this. Help! AM radio versus AAC? iTunes' .m4p Music-files With Bad Quality? That's so weird why anyone would like to still use mp3, it must be the same people who when buying a new car still want to use their old AM radio from the old car or rip music from the LP's instead of the remastered CD's. I bounce multitrack sound files daily with Logic Studio to 24 bit WAV, 192kb mp3 and 128kb AAC. There are still some artifacts even on 192kb mp3 files, I don't think they matter but the customer with golden ears accurately pinpoints them and keeps complaining. AAC really is the next generation compressed audio format and after 7 years in the market you would think everybody would be using it, but nah...The AM radio still seems to rule. But hey it's OK, there are lot of companies that benefit from it, after all, people need to buy 30-40% more memory to hold the same amount of music. According to my buddy who imports mp3 players, there is still one generation of suckers he can sell the mp3 limited players, then the whole gang will come back and replace their old mp3 only devices with "plays mp4/AAC too" devices. Money, money, money...And he doesn't like me who still is using a 4 years old 40GB iPod. -Studio dude

problem with downloaded compressed file Winrar Or Winzip? I recently started having problems with the winrar application I have. True fans of civilization type games and especially those of this brand are mainly disappointed with this version, I'd say. There are many cool features from Civ 3 that aren't included anymore in Civ 4 and even though the content of Civ 4 has increased the game feels more "dumbed down" than ever before. Even the diplomacy aspect of the game has become restrictive and just a plain hassle. The "new combat system" over all sucks as it tends to lead to radically chaotic outcomes despite even the player having significant advantage over their opponent's units. After 2 "expansions" (which don't really expand the game that greatly) you'd think Civ 4 would finally start to poke into future technologies/beyond the modern era, maybe space colonialism like 'Civ 2:Test Of Time' did, but NO! The official theme hangs there like yesterday's dried up pizza in one spot. And last but not least the worst part of Civ 4 (which turned me off and made me scrap this game entirely) was that the FLIPPIN' AI CHEATS! Even though you set your difficulty level at the same as AI it will nevertheless cheat like there's no mercy, he will be spawning Units and buildings on-the-fly, knows every one of your cities that isn't protected and heads for it deep within your empire, seems to "know" every position of your units on the entire map and prepares well in advance before you get them there. So to keep a long review short, Sid Meier's Civilization 4 is a great disappointment to fans of the series and leaves you feeling ripped off and insulted (especially if you paid for it). Maybe if you're playing Civilization for the first time you might be impressed at first but give it a couple of days as you discover the core mechanics of the game you will become more and more disenchanted. My advice? Save your money and nerves, this is the worst Civilization sequel yet and you'd get more satisfaction from Activision's Call To Power 2 or even download Feeciv.-FriedCanaries

I have seen that tutorial before, but I have not analyzed how the code is structured... But the way that I make sure that things stop on the places that I want it to is to basically check if the object will pass the point which I wish for it to stop at, if it does I make it go directly to the place which I want it to... So what I do is create an if with the calculation, yes, I know it's a bit redundant but it works better than adjusting fps values and such... Here is an example:If(ourCharacter._x-walkSpeed < 0){ ourCharacter._x=0;}It could probably be used in conjunction with hittests... Just a question of trying it out.
