  1. Start with HTML, that's essential. Then as you work with HTML, you'll probably find out about some CSS and JavaScript. Then when you get good and want to make a more advanced site, you might consider some PHP. That's what I've done, and I'm at the PHP right now.
  2. Well I've never liked McAffee. And I used to like Norton Antivirus. But then it just stopped working for me. So now I use this good Russian program; Kaspersky Antivirus. It's bloody brilliant, best program I've ever used.
  3. Eww, gosh, I remember having to use those mice in school! I'm sorry, but I've always hated Apple / Macintosh... A mouse should have two buttons, the two buttons have different functions. That's all there is to it. I don't want the past revamped. I'm a PC user, and I like my two-buttoned mouse.
  4. So this hosting credits system, it's a little... Odd, isn't it? Yesterday I had 1 day left, and intended to make up for it today, but when I arrived, I had -4 days. It hasn't been four days, it's been one! I should only have -1 days! But oh well. On the topic of not having enough hosting credits, I think it would be easier to post enough to get enough credits if there were more, specific, topics. Like Sports, with subtopics like Football, Tennis, Baseball, current events like Olympics, World Cups, etc. Music, with subtopics like Rock, Pop, Classical, etc. Movies, where you could talk about what's in theatres in your country, what you rented last night, write reviews, etc. Maybe current events, rather than just the FIR thingy. And I just remembered that there is an Entertainment forum, but it has no post count. Why ever not? I think it would be easier if the forum topics were expanded, and if movies and music counted for credits! What does everyone else think about this?
  5. I'm 15 and my "age adjusted" IQ score is 106 and the average score of all test takers is 100.Not bad, in my opinion. I've never taken that particular IQ test before, I scored higher on a different one.
  6. I've never taken Physics before. But the answer to question one is easy; -4m/s, right? But I stopped when I read question two. I'll come back one day when it's not so late and figure out the rest!
  7. Well, for as long as I can remember, I have always beenin the Milky Way; specifically on Planet Earth. But I travel around Planet Earth a lot. I started in England, and have since hopped between there, Ireland, Canada, and Spain. I even stepped into the U.S. of A. for a few hours one day. And I'm always moving about, so there's no telling where I am right now.
  8. Well I was reading someone's profile on another site and they said their favourite game was Mornington Crescent. So I checked it out and got addicted. Now Mornington Crescent is my favourite game! But I also love Pac-Man, Rayman, and puzzle-ish / adventure games in general. I got Mr. Pants recently, that's an awesome game!
  9. Tuesday! Why?... Well... Because it's the day after Monday, and Monday is usually a bad day, which means Tuesday has to be better. I like Weekdays, being at school. Weekends just mean housework for me. Whereas at school I can see my friends. So Tuesday, just because, really. Ohh, I was also born on a Tuesday!
  10. I use my computer for many things;Surfing the NetGraphics designWebsite designChatting with matesFinding out information, searchesSchool projectsWriting assignmentsWork for my dadYep, I love my computer, and I usually use it at least once a day

    Headphones

Haha, I do that all the time! I haven't wrecked too many headphones, but I've wrecked the headphone jack in my computer! Now it's so tempermental and the sound quality is VERY poor... I'll have to scroll up and read some of the things people suggested.
  12. Haha, I have a friend who always complains about how much stuff I have open, and my dad and brother complain about it, too. And I have 40 tabs in Opera! But I like it that way. I don't see anything wrong with it, if you and your computer can handle it.
  13. My family had a really cool Compaq computer, I loved it. But I don't remember anything about it, since I was so young... But it was big and chunky and white and made by Compaq.
  14. I don't choose my email provider based on how much space they give me. I choose it based on whether I can access it from my laptop or not. I can't access places like Google or Hotmail from my laptop because it's screwy. But coincidentally, I do have 1GB of space with my host. I just go for good quality, security, that kind of stuff.
  15. I don't like the summer holiday, it's always boring, unless I get to go home for the summer. And I get to go home next summer! So home is my favourite place to vacation, because I'm always away.
  16. Home! I've spent like 80% of my life away from home, I only get to visit every few years, and for a short period of time. I love it.
  17. Well I used 800x600 for a very long time, and then I finally decided to move up to 1024x768. Then a few days ago I decided I was running out of space on my desktop and moved up again to 1280x1024. I love it, and when I switch down to 800x600 to test my website, it's so ugly to me.
  18. Tattoos kind of creep me out. Mainly when people get tons of them, big, ugly ones. A small on of just one thing, like maybe a cross, a dolphin, a small dragon, in a normal place like your ankle or top of your arm is okay. I wouldn't get one, though.
  19. I want to visit Germany! Why? I don't know, exactly. But I like German, I know quite a bit. And I like what I've seen of the culture. And I really hate the way everyone associates everything German with Adolf Hitler. But I want to go to Germany.
  20. Well, I know the meaning of my nickname is literally "thought" As for the meaning of my real name... In Hebrew it means "my judge is the Lord" B)It's Spanish, and it's supposed to be beautiful, and it cursed me to be short for the rest of my life because it ends in "la". Ohh, and in Hungarian, my name day is July 21st
  21. Shoes! Call my crazy, but I like shoes... Don't know why, really...But for formal occasions, I love my brownish-orange DMs, or shiny black DMsFor sports I like any comfy running shoe, I tend to like Spaldings, which I've got right now.For just going out for a walk, I like skateshoes, like my orange and beige Wanted ones or my dark blue AirwalksThen I have some sandals for the beach which I really don't wear much...And I have some blue Pumas, they're cool, but I don't wear them too often.I really want some new DMs! Ohh! And I have some GREEN shoes! Which I where usually with long trousers, they're sweet.
  22. Well, I'm really too young and incompetent to put my two cents into a topic like this. But from a 15 year old's perspective like my own, the US should've left well enough alone. Things would sort themselves out eventually, and they wouldn't have lost innocent people due to not leaving when they were asked. But hey, what do I know?
  23. Well, I've personally adjusted to liking phpBB best. Though of the list on the Poll, I've only used two; phpBB and InvisionBoard. But I like phpBB, I find it simple enough to use and effective enough for a decent forum.
  24. Personally, I like blogs and the idea of blogs. I've tried to start one many times, but always forget about them. But it's like a journal that one shares with the world. And you can make it as personal as you like, or just make some sort of story out of it. It's cool, I usually enjoy reading blogs.
  25. Well, I'm 15 as of five months ago. And I completely agree with, I will admit, I personally think lower of people who use all that poor grammar and "MSN chat" abbreviating when typing.
