  1. You can also type NOTEPAD Dirlist.txt for a more user-friendly window (Notepad) instead of editing it in the cmd window.
  2. Yeah, I love Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004! The only thing I don't like about is its 1+ GB size. You also need a decent graphics card to play which is why it's not on my computer at the moment. My favorite plane has to be the one of those amphibian planes because you can land just about anywhere. :)Where do you go to download new cities and planes?
  3. zippy, you might want to check out my site: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (read one of the blog entries). I coded a rating system there, and I'd be happy to give you the code. Just PM me!
  4. Yeah, whyme definately dominated me on that one, but that's because his screenname is not very original (kidding) Hehe, Death killed Terri Schiavo
  5. We're sorry for any inconvenience. Your site will be back as soon as possible.PHP is still up; only MySQL databases are down.
  6. Hmm, whyme...did you happen to get this from my site? Try men vs. women. Sadly, I think this is so because of the many pornographic sites.
  7. Haha, somebody in my AP Computer Science class told me about that command the first day of school, but I never got around to try it; I will on Monday though. My school has the Student login name, too, and a lot of people use it when they're doing something mischievous. How did B-8 give you away? I mean, don't your school have computers in a lot of rooms in your school? You should have gone somewhere quickly as soon as you sent your message to avoid getting caught. I haven't done stupid things like that. The only "bad" thing I did was avoid the proxy by using the ping command and then typing in the returned IP into the address bar.
  8. Yeah, the box comes up with about 6 advertising or banners, but the page doesn't redirect...
  9. Dude, I love Tetris...and you couldn't beat my highscore on my calculator. Haha Oh yeah, there is an arcade at this forum, and Tetris is one of the games. I think you'd kill the person in first place in no time. Go to the arcade here: http://forums.xisto.com/index.php?act=Arcade
  10. Hmm, this may sound like a dumb question, but how do you check your email? I clicked on Check Email, but it kept bringing me to the Edit My Account section...
  11. Haha, Firefox automatically downloaded version 1.0.2 for me because apparently, it's a security update. :-/ Oh well, at least I have the latest more secure version.I haven't noticed about faster loading times because I have 56K - everything is slow.
  12. You will have to work for it again. An example of this would be badinfluence. That person was away for a while, and when he or she came back, he/she had to post all over again to gain the amount of credits needed for his/her desired package.
  13. As I was strolling down the Internet, I found this site: http://drawapig.desktopcreatures.com/ where you draw a pig and analyze your personality. There is no scanning - everything is done completely in Flash. After you're done, a picture of your pig will be generated and you'll get your personality! If you don't know what a pig looks like, Google can help. After you're done, be sure to post the link to your pig. Here is mine: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. I knew I should have drawn more...
  14. I don't know if any of you have tried downloading the zip file in doom's link, but it doesn't work, so I took the time to go to Apache's website, and I found a working link: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (10.5 MB - version 2.0.53). Here is where you can download PHP version 5.0.4 http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (7,667,344 bytes).
  15. I tried no9t9's code because his post flowed so well, and it worked! And I also love arrays Spectre, the question mark suggestion would be great except my referring URL does not have a question mark. That's it, question answered. Thanks again guys!
  16. I have a chat applet on my site if you want to check it out: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. I got it at http://www.freejavachat.com/java/. If you need help installing, feel free to PM me or post a reply
  17. Hey I want to know how to get the filename of the referring URL. Look at the following example: Page A which has a URL of http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ redirects the user to Page B which has a URL of http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. Is there a PHP code that I can put on blah2.php that will output blah1.php? I tried _SERVER["HTTP_REFERRER"]; (please note the code may not exactly be correct as I do not remember the code ) but that did not work so well. Thanks in advance!
  18. I think beeseven may have answered RGPHNX's question. RGPHNX, remember to post back whether you solved your problem or not.
  19. I prefer Nucleus CMS because it does not use tables for positioning. Also, you can edit the templates' HTML codes so it can look like the rest of your site! Plus, with the numerous plugins available makes it the most flexible content management system I have ever used! Lastly, it's the only CMS that I have used that will pass the validation test. If you wanna check out Nucleus in action, check out my site.
  20. Hosting credits == hosting days. Once you have acquired 30 hosting days, then you can apply for package 2. You can check how many hosting days you have here:http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  21. Remember to post back whether it works or not, so I can close this topic
  22. 1. My site has been with Xisto for less than a month. I took time to make my first 50 posts before I applied, and that took about a week2. No major problems at all. I think this site has been running for less than a year because if you look at the time OpaQue joined, it says June of 2004, and he's the first person to create an account here. I'm not too sure on the number of sites hosted at Xisto 2. The maximum time of inactivity available, or the maximum hosting credits you can obtain, is (correct me if I'm wrong) 118.6 years.
  23. Actually, I think a lot of catholic people, especially in the US, like him because his views parallel with Pope John Paul II's views. At least, my parents like Bush.As for his being in the Vatican, I'm glad he's going there to pay his respects to the Pope.I don't think it's a joke either because I heard somewhere that a lot of famous people will be at the funeral on Friday
  24. Liek, omg, I've been wanting to know how to do this since forever. Thanks! (joking. i received your PM first, then i made this post)Edit: added the stuff in parenthesis
