  1. wow. Thanks for the help! I guess I wouldn't need another video card.
  2. Here's the url to the video card I currently have installed on my computer: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se&CatId=1560 This PCI Express card has ports for 1-VGA and 1-DVI monitor. The card states that it features Dual-monitors so what I'm wondering is that if I connect 1 VGA monitor simultaenously with a DIV monitor on ONE video card, would I be able to use both? Thus, giving me dual-monitors?
  3. Yes. Ask her out because you'll regret having not done so. That's what happened to me. --- The SAD part about mine was that it was the girl who always flirted with me and I didn't know how to do it so I ignored her or just ended it. I liked the girl too and I never got to ask her. Don't be like me! You'll regret it.
  4. LOL. I was 15 too when I liked this girl who was 18 and liked me back but I didn't want to ask her cuz of the age difference. Plus she lived 2 hours away. --- What I'm trying to say is that "Shawna" can like you back. BUT since you guys are best friends, then that'd be kinda awkward to be girlfriend/boyfriend. Once you become best friends (like brother and sister like) then it's just too weird. If the relationship right now is with flirting, then you go and ask her out (gf/bf).
  5. If you tell her what you feel, then in return, she'll tell her how she feels (but it doesn't mean she likes you back). If she doesn't like you then she doesn't. It's a good idea to get it off your chest but it's real hard to do. I know because I'm in the same situation as you are right now. I want to get it off my chest but I can't get the courage to.
  6. And that's why you don't go out with a girl you haven't seen before. That's what sucks about internet relationships.
  7. Yep Yep, i agree with the posters. Never hide your feelings. I've done it before and I regret it to this day. It's best to have a list of ways to show your feelings to the girl.
  8. Hm... wow. Seems like you're going through the same as me. Here's my advice: Do you still have feelings for her? Do you want to be with her? If yes, then go for it. If you don't then don't.
  9. Hm... I came up with "AV Media" but Mermaid's suggestion: Villaroman Studios is also worth taking a look at. To me "Villaroman Studios" has a bit more depth to it. More professional sound to it. But hwat about the one I came up with? It's a bit light--I don't know if it also sounds professional.
  10. Okay, my name is Albert Villaroman. I tried to make something with my name with it but had no luck. Something like "Albert Studios" or "Villaroman Studios" ...I dunno, It just doesn't ring a bell to me. How bout the others?
  11. Just as the subject says, I need help naming a website I'm about to make. This website will contain my portfolio showcasing previous works I've done as a web designer/developer. I also want to display all services that I can provide. Basically it's a web designer's website but I have no "Company Name" for it. So could someone help me out?
  12. Thanks for the help. I got it working few days ago. All I had to do was just wait 24 hours until I can add-on the domain. I have another question, how can I mask the url? Because whenever I go to this url: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ It leads me to the right page BUT it shows the real url as well: "http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/; How would I be able to mask that?
  13. I get the error from this website. None from Yahoo.
  14. Okay, I did change the settings but it still doesn't work. I still get the same error message. Does it mean I have to wait 24 hours for propagation?
  15. HI, I was about to add an addon domain called "skyclansite.com" to my site but I get this error: Just a few minutes ago I went to the Domain's Control Panel and here are the DNS settings: Primary: yns1.yahoo.com Secondary: yns2.yahoo.com Additional: ns1.trap17.com Additional: ns2.trap17.com **The control panel said not to change the primary and secondary other than the one on top. So I put the Xisto nameservers at the last two. But I still get an error? What's wrong?
  16. *gasp*!!Lexmark x5470 is not trash. It's a pretty cool printer. It's good that it can run stand-alone. It's a good between from home to business.Anyways, I decided to use Windows 2000 for now and just wait until Dell integrates Ubuntu. It should be user-friendly when Dell decides to have Ubuntu installed on its systems. I'll wait for that time to come.
  17. Oookay, it's me agen. So I've listened to your words and installed Ubuntu Fiesty 7.0.2 and it's pretty good. I like it except for one issue I'm having right now. I have a printer: Lexmark X5470 and it's detected by Ubuntu. However, the drivers it's currently supporting is only 5000 and it doesn't work. I want to install a .PDD version of the driver but I can't find it. Can anyone help me?
  18. Alright, right now I'm using Windows 2K SP4 but I'm planning to move to Ubuntu just by the mere reason that I can't afford the 100 dollar Windows XP. I'm still in high school and I don't have a job that's why I still can't afford all my desires. But I hear Ubuntu is pretty good and even Dell is planning to use it for its future computers.I'm a gamer and a web developer and programmer. I have no concerns about IDE's such as NetBeans or Aptana and other Open source IDE's because of linux support. Instead I'm more concerned with the games I love to play.I've checked out the WINE homepage and found some games that I want to play and they support it. Here are the games I'm planning to play: - Battlefield 2 - Counter-strike Source/Condition Zero - Unreal Tournament 2004 - Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 and 2Which of these would work with Ubuntu?
  19. LOL wow, pretty interesting form. I thought it would be some tips and guidelines but I'll go try this out and see if it works... NOT. But I want to see someone try this out. That'd be pretty interesting.
  20. Yooo man I agree with you. Although I think Runescape sucks now, but back in the old days in RS1 just heading for the wilderness with my clan was so exciting and felt the rush of risking my valuable armor and rune weapon. Hey even mining in the wild for coal was a rush because a fellow miner could kill you any minute.
  21. I like adrenaline, but I wouldn't call it an addiction. I do one extreme sport which is Aggressive Inline. It was pretty fun and got some adrenaline off it, but I haven't even scratched the surface because I'm too poor to maintain my skates. However, you don't have to do an extreme sport to experience adrenaline. I'm a 100m sprinter in track team and believe me, there's a lot of adrenaline every time I stand on the starting line, especially when I'm at the down start position.I find your "addiction" pretty interesting. I'm usually a laid back person but once in a while I'd like to get a taste of adrenaline. I'm not holding you back from your hobbies just don't kill yourself (lol). BTW, what's ATC? I wanna fly.
  22. I've tried this service. But as a test, I only gave it a try for just a day. Here is my "experiment":Variables: Xisto.com, freehostingnow.comConstant: Discuz! Forum SoftwareWhat I did was I uploaded the files to both servers and what I found out was that freehostingnow.com didn't allow most file types such as "css" "ini" and other necessities. On the flip side, Xisto allowed most, if not, all the files. The reason why it wasn't able to upload some of the images was that during the file transfer the connection was lost and the file that tried to be transfered right after the reconnect didn't work.So in conclusion, if you are going to use CSS, it's better to stay here with Xisto. unless you need 10gb then I recommend getting yourself a paid hosting.
  23. After researching on this topic on Google, I found no dependable page to which I come to a conclusion. So I want to ask you guys the question: Which is faster, JVM or the .NETI already know how slow it is to open up a Java program because of the JVM. I've used a .NET program (Visual Studio Express) and it was quite faster to load than the Java program (NetBeans). Right now I'm siding with Microsoft based on these two experiences, which I believe are naive to found my case on. So to those who are familiar with either one of these frameworks, please state your argument.Thank you
  24. Php and flash won't update automatically either. You may even have to close the browser to see the update. I recommend statying with PHP technology and just add on Javascript to it. Make sure you use the XMLHTTPRequest in Javascript to automatically refresh the chatroom without having to reload. This is called AJAX.When I have the time, I think I should develop my own AJAX chatrooms. But there should be some pre-made scripts out there already I believe.
