Where Can I Find An .exe Editor
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to eldar1405241509's topic in Programming
There's no editor for .exe files that I know of. The only way you can edit a .exe is if you are a hardcore assembly language guy - coz that's what .exe's are decompiled to, when you open them up using a debugger. Some advanced debuggers can give you an output in a pseudo-algorhythmic language, but that's as far as they go. You cannot simply open up a .exe like a textfile and start editing. -
Ajax Shoutbox For Ipb - Beta 2 Release
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG's topic in Programming
Oh we had well over thousand posts to start with - and we'd started sometime around beginning of this year. But then the movement had died out.. recently about a month and a half back suddenly everyone seemed to gather around and take renewed interest in it. Now we don't ever intend to look back.. Everything's going full swing. Unfortunately, due to some stupid mistakes on my part - I lost all the old messages from our earlier board.. But nothing to worry We got plenty of good developers, graphic artists and dreamers joining us everyday. This time we're going to make it a giant success As of now, the shoutbox is being modified to encapsulate it entirely into a javascript object - which can be dragged and dropped to any part of the screen - giving you a freely floating shoutbox. Adding it into any page will be as simple as: <html>........<script>var shoutbox = new ShoutBox();</script>...........</html> --- That's all you'll have to do to embed it in any page of yours The new code will be announced soon -
Paypal Alternatives
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to fraudulentpeanut's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Why don't you try these: StormPay - http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - very similar to paypal eGold - http://www.egold.com/ I have accounts at both - but so far haven't put them to use. So I won't be able to provide you with a review. Maybe someone else, who's used these can give you one. -
125 Yr Old Woman Sprouts New Tooth
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG's topic in General Discussion
Both my parents are dental surgeons and I asked them about it - what my dad says is that there's this situation called impacted tooth - where the tooth had come out in the normal cycle - but never managed to make it way out of the jawbones through the gum. Teeth like these remain hidden for extensively long periods - sometimes they never come out.. and sometimes they just pop-out one fine day, at a very late age. This might be a case like that.. That'd explain the sudden sprouting of the new tooth. Am still waiting for it to come up in the papers - so I can put in a direct link here to the report. -

Hehe - nope we don't have tooth fairy in our culture - but the ceremony I mentioned takes place when an infant sprouts the first tooth. I am NOT JOKING and I do understand this is not April Fool's Day A 125 years old muslim lady sprouted a new tooth !! Serious dude - it just came on local TV news here in West Bengal, India. They even showed an interview of the family of this lady. In our culture, when an infant sprouts the first tooth - we hold this ceremony known as Annaprasan - when the baby is fed solids (usually rice) for the first time ever. The family of this old woman is so thrilled at her sprouting a tooth at this age - even they've organized a ceremony like that for her.. hehe.. they just telecast the whole ceremony on an Indian channel known Alpha Bangla. I didn't quite catch the name of the woman or the village she lives in - but it should surely be up in the news by tomorrow. More details later...

Photoshop Or Paintshop
miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG replied to GNR-D's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Hehe.. Photoshop all the way What a state the poll is in - not a single vote cast for poor PaintShop -
Another cool upgrade - just got myself a Creative 7.1 Live 24-Bit.. and WHOAAA WHAT DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENT of sound quality. One terrific piece of hardware I must say. I even tried on my friends normal desktop speaker set - even on the basic 2.1 (2 speakers + subwoofer) system - it's quality is simply amazing. Earlier on I was using the Intel Soundmax onboard sound card, which came along with my Intel D915PGN board. Unfortunately (OR FORTUNATELY ) due to power flunctuations - the onboard card died out.. What came out was that my UPS was long dead and hence couldn't sort out the surges well - hence RIP the onboard card. Anyway, subsequently I went off and got this ulta sleek pitch black UPS and the new Sound Card and am having a terrific time with both Hadn't the old UPS died, none of this would happen - hehe.. so not everything happens for the worse Rockin' on the Rich BASS

????[/tab]If you ask me to believe a native english speaker won't understand the word as simple as afore-mentioned - then one shouldn't claim to be a native english speaker in the first place. This doens't even fall into your so-called category of flowery language - although it's usually classified as decent english. ????Moreover - one prime aspect of our board - that most of you miss out on, is that we've explicitly stated in our TOS that we intend to build a rock-solid technical knowledge-base and for that we're seeking talented members. Our tag-line is Where Talent Fuels Hosting - and talent, whatever you may be endowed with, has to be expressed properly in order to be recognized as talent. If you are unable to express yourself in a clear-cut manner, then your talent will simply go unrecognized. Hence we stress so much on making posts here using full english sentences. Even our hosting is mostly given out to people who can at least summarize their thoughts in a logical progression and lay it out in a manner that is conducive to easy understanding by the masses. ????While this might seem like an elitist point of view to you - I'm sorry to say, that's how it IS. We're not interested to have our forums filled with thousands of lines of absolutely meaningless junk consisting of nothing but, hehe, haha, lol, like etc. Moreover, our board is primarily meant to cater to an English speaking audience - so bad english isn't really an excuse here. [tab]As for the lighter side of life - there's always Xisto - where posting rules are far more relaxed - where you wouldn't face scorn about poor english. That is why people who feel a little strangled in here are always advised to go join Xisto. I should point out that this makes us loose a LOT of new members as well as in terms of post COUNT - but we're entirely happy with whatever we have. At least any newcomer trying to locate information on a particular topic can do so with extreme ease - as it has been pointed out earlier by many of our members.

Oh awesome man That's definitely a terrific resource site - and the way they've split up examples topicwise, they're going to help someone who knows java coding a bit to jump straight into a topic and start working on it. Good one
