altho alien ware is a ok company that makes comps, but i just simply like to build my own, first of all is more fun and is alot cheaper your paying the the spix ur getting. my computer is highly overclocked right now. from 2.0Ghz to 2.63Ghz i mean define: overclock = to get more then what your are paying. xD `Mesmer

Photo shop, quite simple actually, and yes intel have their mult locked already thus increasing your FSP, CAN over clock your computer but that just abusive to the system.

I mean a Laptop is great and all. portable great if u are the move alot. but in the end desktops just crushes laptop( literiry. lol) lets put it this way. laptop is great for data. and some music on it good **** i have to say. i got most of my programming data on it. but since i im a hardcore overclocker. most of my games and moives n **** are on my desktop. cuz is simply faster... and u cant really costum a laptop... or a Mac -.- lol..

tip. u dont have to worry normaly, most things u wanna check for is. the CPU and the mother board have the same SOCKETS, THEY MUST!.and check what type of connection your HD is -.-. thats about it. and check your damn case so it fits the stuff u gonna buy ROFL.

£0-£100? if im not wrong thats euro right?for a 148 bucks. u can get a Geforce 6600GT with out a problem. the thing is 128mb on a DDR3( uber fast) for 148 bucks only? come on -.- i mean i cant even agure with that... and i try to find the best of the best stuff when comes to computer parts.

intel just plain sucks in my mind. first of all intel over heats pretty fast. which sucks for a overclocker like me. On some CPUs, such as the Intel processors since 1998, the multiplier is locked and cannot be changed. On others, such as the AMD Athlon 64 processors, the multiplier is "top locked", which means that you can change the multiplier to a lower number but cannot raise it higher than it was originally. On other CPUs, the multiplier is completely unlocked, meaning you can change it to any number that you wish. This type of CPU is an overclockers dream, since you can overclock the CPU simply by raising the multiplier, but is very uncommon nowadays. so i perfer AMD for a faster speed you are actuall getting for a processors u are buying. for example. AMD 3200+ is a 2.0Ghz.FSB (in MHz) x Multiplier=Speed in MHz while your computer is run on 10x 200mb= 2.0Ghz. but on the other hand, im sure your ram is not 200mb... they rarely make those anymore... a simple chart can be found here. 100/200 MHz => DDR200 or PC1600133/266 MHz => DDR266 or PC2100166/333 MHz => DDR333 or PC2700185/370 MHz => DDR370 or PC3000200/400 MHz => DDR400 or PC3200217/433 MHz => DDR433 or PC3500233/466 MHz => DDR466 or PC3700250/500 MHz => DDR500 or PC4000267/533 MHz => DDR533 or PC4200283/566 MHz => DDR566 or PC4500and use my RAM as a example. i have a DDR500 which means my RAM is 250mb. thus is better if u use 8x 250mb = 2.0Ghz, even you computer is not over clocked yet. your are fully using your RAM, thus the computer is FASTER. and im going to cut this short. if any one have questions PM me or something. AMD is just simply FASTER.

well i really need more information before i can help you. i costum build computers for my self and friends n other people based on their spend cost. give me a number of total amount of money you gonna spend. n tell me the use for the computer such as gaming, data, etc.

Geforce 6600GT XFX 128mb DDR3. on newegg for like 148 bucks. can handle most games on it. beasting on bitorrent's games section for a while now. game which passed on med/high grahics. are. Far-Cry. Need for Speed(i belive i played all the games under it.) Matrix Patch of Neo. Battle Field 1/2 Call of Duty 1/2 F.E.A.R Halo. World of Warcraft Half-Life 2 highly recommanded video card xD
