On any game you can create a private for just you and your friends using Hamachi servers. Hamachi pretty much allows you to play LAN games online, which sounds weird but it does. If you don't know, LAN is pretty much when computers are connected together and this allows them to play with each other with no internet lag at all. This is because the connections are directly next to each other and not across the world. Hamachi creates an online LAN connection so you can play with your friends. How To Make Your Own Counter Strike Source Dedicated Server!
Forbez replied to AbdurahmanL's topic in General Discussion
Really helpful tutorial, really helped my friends get a chance to practice CSS by theirselves without the constant interruption of others. -
Where I learnt everything I know about web designing is over at http://www.w3schools.com/. Best to start learning HTML followed by CSS before you attempt learning any of the others. Also what is helpful is downloading free templates and see how their constructed. Destroy a site and try to rebuild it very helpful as well. But do remember that each web designer has his or her own design style and it's rare to find two web designers who code exactly the same way. Main thing is practice, keep trying and make sure you have an aim for whatever website you're currently creating.

Wow, sounded quite serious I sure hope no-one got seriously effect by this outrage. My dearest concerns go to those who did.

This is a toughie, PC has the advantage of the graphics being more superior then those on console but that completely depends on your computers graphics level. If you have a high spec'd computer, I'd say get call of duty 4 on the PC. Otherwise there is no real point to getting it on the PC, this is hypocritical for me to say this as I have a computer which is below minimum specification and I still play it regularly on PC. But the console version does have a longer life span as they have prestige mode which is a great addition to the game. But, like all console games they don't get daily installments of available modifications and maps for the game. With PC there are tons and tons of mods and even more maps. Some of the most popular mods being;various different types of zombie mod; rifles mod; sniper mod (awe4). Mods are being created for call of duty 4 daily and there's always something new to play.If you want my opinion, get it for PC, it's cheaper and plus you get to play tons of different mods online.

My Opinion On Phpbb3.x.x phpBB3.x.x is better than all the others
Forbez replied to csp4.0's topic in Web Hosting Support
I've been admin for all 3 major software, invision power board, vBulletin board and phpbb3.x.x. Basing my opinion just on looks, I'd say phpbb3.x.x is the definete winner. The basic design for phpbb3.0 is better then professionally designed templates for invision power boards and vBulletin boards. For flexibility invision and vBulletin are closely matched. The amount of mods released for vBulletin is huge, the same applies with invision. Not so much with phpbb3.0, due to the fact it's only been out recently. The admin panel for editing the templates and styles on invision and vBulletin are a lot easier to adjust and edit. As you get to create styles easily, unlike phpbb3.0. For easy to use, phpbb3.0 would win. The admin panel has been designed beautifully that anyone can use it without being taught anything. But vBulletin and invision, although harder to get use to at the start, once you do get use to them you'll see the difference in what you can achieve. vBulletin's and invision's admin panel are far better, but far more complex. Some may agree, others may disagree but I've had experience with all software on different forums. All forums with different aims and achievements. -
Thanks for the reply, I'll be patience and wait for a notice of the problem being resolved. Again, thanks.

I Need A Review On My Website Review me please
Forbez replied to dcskataboy's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Alright, my views are:ProsLoads fast, as fast as google - due to the fact there's not images.Has the all information required.ConsNot visually good looking, no colors and no images.Drawings of locks...? Needs real life images.Prices wouldn't go a missFor a beginner, really well done. You've made a full website which works, which many beginners can't ever achieve. But if your fathers company is a serious one, ethier you need to design a better site, or he needs to get a professional web designer. -
I get the following error when I try changing a users group of my Phpbb3 powered forums. I've read on other forums that this problem is related to disk space and it was advised to talk to the host about this. My total disk usage is at, atm, 59.39/500 MB. I have a lot of space remaining. Some guidance, espcially from admins will be really great =D.

Here are some trailers over at gametrailers.com Dead Space - Exclusive Story Trailer http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Dead Space - Developer Diary: Strategic Dismemberment http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Dead Space Website http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Pretty much from what I know, your stuck on some spaceship in space and your crew, or most of your crew, are dead. You have to fight the creature which killed your crew and somehow get the hell out of there. Looks like a pretty intense story line which will probably have a lot of scary moments which will make you jump out of your seat. The second video there talks about Strategic Dismemberment which is pretty much, take of the limbs of the enemy creature until it dies. It isn't about getting those headshots and/or firing blindly hoping to kill, this way you have to aim and take off key parts of the creature. Such as shooting it's legs will slow it down and cause it to crawl with it's arms. A wide range of consequences have been put in place to enhance the player's, your, enjoyment. I think it's console only, probably will come to PC sooner or later, they all do!

Believe it or not but the two powerhouse companies, Activision and Blizzard have merged to form "Activision Blizzard". This is huge news as both companies are brilliant at what they do. Activision help creating extremly popular games such as the Call of Duty series and the Guitar Hero series. Whilst Blizzard brings to the table even more popular games such as World of Warcraft, Starcraft series and Diablo series. I'm not completely sure of the in's and out's of this merge, but it seems to me that Blizzard brought Activision which formed this new company. As Blizzard owns 50% whilst Activisin owns 50%. Again, I'm not entirely sure if my above information is entirely true. Take a look at there website here- http://www.activisionblizzard.com/ It looks like they'll still be two seperate companies continuing what their doing, but they probably work closely together more. If they released a game together, everyone knows it will be the best seller for that year. If you have any more information let me know, plus if anything up here I've posted is wrong, make sure you let me know.

Yeah, this is a good tutorial. I also agree, w3schools is a great resource for learning more about javascript. Nevertheless, this tutorial is so really good.

Any video editing software can do this, all you have to do is get some soft of software which transfers youtube videos into .mpeg or another similar extension. Then from there you can get the two videos, put them on the time line and cut and slice where ever you want to. then, bob's your uncle =).

to be honest, it's best to make a website which works for all browsers, or at least the top 3 most popular browsers. I personally design my websites for Firefox as I know the majority of my visitors will be using firefox. But you should aim for designing a website which works for internet explorer and firefox. If it works for those two browsers majority of your codes will look perfectly fine in any other browsers. The simple coding will work across browsers but more complex coding such as javascript and a few css attributes will look different depending on browsers, so keep that in mind.

Ie6 - When Will Be Dead ? discution about developers and Internet Explorer 6
Forbez replied to xebay's topic in The Internet
I agree with the guy who said 2 years, but I wish it was sooner. Really restricts web designers who want a wide and vast audience.Truefusion you make a great point, if web designers stopped supporting it, then there will be no need for it, it'll come obsolete. Sooner the better in my opinion. -

Love it, seriously do. You include everything needed here. Perhaps add some suggestive css styles to make things look all pretty
