i was just thinking about this project that i'm doing, and i thought that it would be a good thing that i could update my website let's say on Xisto from my localhost computer with a click of a mouse, without all of that ftp mambo-yumbothe thing is that i wanted an "UPDATE" button on my site which woud connect to my localhost and update all the things needed.let's say i added few profiles localy, and i want to update them on site.. how could it be done.if i was crude in explanation please write what info u still need and i'll post it back...

although the verb technicaly means searching the web using google, we can all agree on the fact that "to google" now means "to search the internet" no matter what engine u are using.. i think if there was a pool around here about that issue probably more then 60% would be that it means "to search the web no matter on what search engine" but i could be wrong...

If u have many problems with Xampp you can always setup your webserver by Installing Apache 2.0 and PHP 5 (and MySQL) on Windows XP This is really good tutorial i used, and i think it beats using other apps for setting up server, beacouse here u can in first hand learn setting up MySQL an PHP, which comes quite handy latter.. I think people are not that scared of general islam religion it self (except maybe Americans) but of their Holy War idea.One of the main differences in islam and catholic (sorry about wrong spelling anywhere) is that in Bible it's said "Turn the other cheek"and in Kuran"Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth"---Of course those are just quotes and they can't be used to explain religion in it's real meaning but those who don't really care about religion but are just using it for their own purpose in controling their fanatic members by putting weird ideas in their heads about some devil leaders (like Bush) that will take their freedom away.this situation of currents world opinion about islam is just pressure that was made from US Goverment so that they can fight their "crusade" war in order to save the world from such a curse as Islam.Of course that everybody with at least of some intelligence (well i think Bush doesn't have intelligence, well not more than a common Chicken) can realize the real meaning of the war in Irak.Although here in Croatia the war led for our independence from Serbs (ex yugoslavia) was spread all over Bosnia and Hercegovina which was before a 3 nation country of Muslims, Croats, and Serbs. The worst problem was that at the time the war started and begin to spread almost imediatly muslims from those Taliban countrys came here to fight their War.Those who came here didn't have real picture of world. They were raised in poor enviroments without education and all of YOUR western privilages. All they had there was their religion and when that religon ordered them to fight they really didn't think the reason why they really need to fight.Worst thing is that their idea of war and killing is twisted so that torture is normal.. I don't want to talk about that anymore.I just wanted to say (maybe it doesn't look that way) but the problem is not in religion, the problem is in economy and general situation in ones country that leads him to crazy things.So people don't blame religion blame those bastar++++ who spents mlrds of $ on weapons instead on education.P.S.There was this good TV Show OZ, about a prison and in there there was this guy (black one) who lead muslimans in prison. Although his teaching were about peace and etc.. he used first oportunity he got to try to take charge of prison.. Well i think the programm u use for coding web pages isn't that important like the enviroment you are doing it in. If u really do want to learn html (php and similar) the smartest thing you might do is setup your localhost server with apache. I will not put any links beacouse i think apache is really easy to find and to setup. Apache installs it self in folder, and in it's 'htdocs' folder you can store your web pages for local viewing and testing on all browsers. If it is set up right you can just type http://localhost in your browsers address bar and then you would be able to see the page that says 'Apache is sucesfully installed on your sistem' It really speeds up coding beacouse you can test your code real fast. Let's say you open your code in notepad just change whatever you think needs changing save it (ctrl+s) then (alt+tab) to your browser and refresh your website (localhost), any changes that you made are promptly seen on website. You can combine it with dreamweaver beacouse in it you can setup your local server to, and when you do that then dreamweaver becomes quite handy and unreplacable tool. I like using Dreamweaver beacouse of it's powerfull handing with tables, and i'm still in "oldschool" webdesign where everything is sorted in tables (and i belive that is not so "oldschool" after all".. The same program is excelent for noobs (like myself) beacouse you can simultaniously edit code and see changes on website. You can ask then why installing local server when you can "test" your pages in dreamweaver. Well that is NOT THE SAME as localhost testing beacouse sometimes dreamweaver "skips" some errors that can apear in browser so when you upload your pages on your "hosting" they might have massive errors in some browsers. Also i tryed once i think it was called Coffe Html which has that same ability as dreamweaver but was somehow buggy and crashed a lot.. There is SciteFlash too, which is primarly designed for editing FlashActionScript, but has extension for html, php, and all mayor *.* used for designing websites. For graphic tools there is wide selection and you probably can use any of them as long as they have some sort of Web Optimizing Pictures so that you don't end up with megabyte large websites. Also you can use Flash which is quite simple to handle and pretty good for creating banners, and content that you really want to be - Visible - on your site... I was looking for free flash design tool and found it but forgoten to bookmark that page, and now i can't find it any more, the name of the program is on tip of my tounge but i just can't remember. Maybe later... Hope this helps...

Well i was just wondering could i get some hosting credits on credit :lol:I promise i will return them.No, this is for real, i just can't gather more than 30 credits so i can upgrade my account in less then 1 month. My credit rate is about 2-3 credits a day, and that is ok beacouse then i have time for everything. But if i could get 30 credits right now so i can upgrade i would return 40 for 2 months..So, what da ya say?

Few simple steps for sharing connection... On the computer that has internet connection--- 1. Go to Control panel --> Network Connections, right mouse click on your connection and select 'Properties' 2. Under the properties go to Advanced Tab and there u check + Allow other users to connect on this internet connection--- U should also check firewall settings so that IP of your computer has that privilages. I don't know if this helps your situation but that is something you must do in any situation. Now depending on your Home LAN (local area network) setup, proper setup of connection sharing might be a bit tricky. I did it myself at home few times, and every other time i try to do that i have to look at some manuals and FAQ's before doing it right. It look's simple but so can a simple error or something not set up right and nothing works. Try googling more and explain your home network more (what type of internet conn are you using, are your computers networked etc..) so some of forum wizes here might find just right answer for you...

just recently on TV i watched a doc series about global warming, huricanes and other natures reactions to our human destructive behavior. the idea that crossed my mind was that humans have forgoten their nomadic roots, as we were nomads before we will be ones again.the rich and comfortable "western" way of life, has made us into lazy, snoobish and cocky parazites of nature. we have exploited (not the band) it, poluted it, and used it as much as we could during last centuries after the industrial revolution. but now nature show's us who's the boss around here, and at that time when we cross that line, when we try to be bosses that will be the time when "end" will come.not all of us are going to survive, just the ones that are strongest and most skillful. let's just hope that it won't be that cold after all and if it does we'll do like russians do... drink lot's of vodka

well i made that drawing more for fun then from real. i just wanted to draw a basic of engine sistem. and that is one container of matter in which is dropped antimatter or vice-vresa...idea with fans is just idea.. of course i guess it can't work at this time beacouse if it could i guess we would have matter-antimatter combustion engines allready and all of that Irak and oil situation in world would become meaningless...well the reason that i mention that is beacouse i think that it is the worst problem in our technology upgrades.Let's say that last 15 years US goverment instead of investing in Army and Defense sistem they invested in science and technology that computers that we know for now would be 10 times better. (Faster more secure and user friendly)Imagine that 100 mlrd US dollars spended on year for weapons development would be spended on matter antimatter research? I think that we would have spaceships now that would be on Beta level of light-speed colonial ships that could travel to other galaxies in search for other "human friendly planets".I bet it would be better instead that dollar spent on 1 bullet was spent on 1 post in research forums, which would be great source of information.But that is dreamworld for now.I belive that when time comes some genius guy like Nikola Tesla, A. Einstein, Nobel or somebody like them would come up and say a formula or a combination of known human reactions which could provide us with infinate energy necessary for our survival.Until then we will just have topics like this and drawings like mine that prove our inferiorship to genius ideas and "perpetum mobile" solutions...I'm sorry that this post is a bit depressive but i'm thinking about the solution for quite a while and the more i think, the more i learn i realize how much that is waste of time. This is more like an overview of classic game styles and games that had a mayor effect on future games development. Reason why i didn't use different topic name is beacouse i think this overview is way to much subjective to have any other - more serious topic name. Another thing i should mention is that i have never been anything more than a noob in most of (Multiplayer) games here. Since i'm living in Croatia, somewhere on the internet i saw a short description of Croatia that goes "Former comunist country".I laughed at it but there is some truth to it. Even as it has passed more then 15 years of our "independance" broadband internet like DSL or Cable is around for less than 2 years. So most of my time spended gaming around are single player and LAN playable games.First major game ever i have played was Warcraft 2. At that time i just got Pentium 133 with 32 megs of ram and 1 Mb Video Card. That was some Kick 'rse machine. My computer skills at that time was beeing able to double click shortcut icon of War2 in before Win 3.11 later 95 and finaly 98.. Most of the games described below were played on this machine I upgraded it later with Voodoo 2 3d acclerator and more RAM (I guess 64). Yes, i remmembered the HDD had 1.2 Gb.. That was the worst mistake i made, but the difference in price between 1.2 and 1.8 or 1.9 was about 100$. Those were the days :|Warcraft 2 (RTS) was not the game i have played too much but the reason i mention it beacouse that is where i got my micro-macro skills (with mouse and keyboard of course) ballanced. But it was a fine game with addictive story. Well, now we even have WoW greatly based on War 1 and 2 stories (and Diablo 2 skill sistem).At that time Duke Nukem 3D (FPS) was the revolution. Somebody figured out that in 3d games people can jump and there it was Duke 3d. That cool guy with his RPG and jetpack flying around kickin alien scum. That was great even for multiplayer, although mouse in that game vas really bad idea to play with, and with all those additional functions like hologram steroids and jetpack it was hard to catch it if u had one hand on keyboard and one on mouse.Those games rocked, but those games couldn't make me mad.. The games i played that really know how to make me mad were Diablo (2), Fallout (2). At that time role playing games as i remember didn't have any real good representative unlike rest of genres. Mostly FPS, and adventure games.NFS at that time was one of the best driving arcades and before Colin McRea Rally there were no real driving simulations. Well not that i can remember of.Diablo 2 (RPG).This was the game in which i spended hours and hours playing and gathering items. Since i didn't have money for Original (I hope those Blizzard guyz won't be mad) i couldn't play Battlenet. That was really bad, but i had only 56k internet so playing on Bnet was kinda hard anyway. But that single player was awsome. I know lot's of players really hate diablo beacouse of it's hackandslash character. That is totaly true. Good mouse with durable keys was really valuable when playing diablo. But all of that clicking would pay off since the first unique, set, or fine rear item pops out. I remember cleaning that Arcanium Sanctuary for 15 time in same game beacouse once some creature droped powerfull sword but i lost it somehow, i don't remember how....I'll wrap it up for now..More games i'll write about later: Fallout, Baldurs Gate, Starcraft.. and more.Plz don't be to hard on me if i didn't mention some games u liked, u r free to comment them. I probably played it to but just didn't like it that much.If u are going to comment some game, then try to find a game from that period...

And we could help them establish their own cities. All you thought of is evolution of yourself or how can you be stronger, faster, smarter.Well i think that is not the point of evolution. I think that evolution is process that lasts from the begining of the universe. All of nature as it egzists now in our minds is what "evolved" from big bang.So what do you think the next step is?I think that we should divide our evolution in two ways.1. Evolution that we can be part of. To be more precise, it is combining all of our knowlege into making US more powerfull (whatever it would me from mechanical implants, to Matrix enviroment)2. I think i have solved the problem of login to cPanel. It was the firewall!!!Just add a rule in firewall which allows that IP you got in mail of Xisto Corporation...To add a rule in windows firewall go toControl Panel --> Windows FirewallUnder the Exceptions tab go to Add Port...Under the Name: "write_your_subdomain_or_whatever"Then click on Change Scope choose * custom list and PASTE That IP you got from XistoIt should be similar on other firewalls.I also played with Internet Options.. and Internet Security in IE, but that doesn't change much, and i think that is not the problem (at least for CPanel)I hope this helps...P.S.OMG, WHATA CPANEL !!!! =)
