What Country Do You Want To Visit The Most?
sonyguy replied to shigajet's topic in General Discussion
I like this question, I'm mad I didn't think of it first :PAnyways, I'd love to visit Australia and New Zealand as well, I was going to move to New Zealand last year but in the end it just wouldn't have worked out...I would love to go to Kenya or the Republic of South Africa, Madagascar looks good aswell, regarding Africa.I don't particularly like the idea of any of the countries in the Mediterranean. But yeh, there ya go.. -
I agree, it is pretty low, but I must admit I looked at the demo, it looks pretty cool. I won't buy it until I get some good reviews though, knowing Microsoft, that won't be soon.

My name is Adam, I have never really thought about what this meant, but for this topic I looked it up :PApparently it means 'humanity' because Adam was the first person on Earth according to Genesis, but can also mean 'harmony with others'.My middle name is David also, and as another poster said it means 'beloved'.

What System/consol Are You Getting? Systems/Consol
sonyguy replied to TeamOuT's topic in Computer Gaming
I'll probably be getting the Playstation 3. Obviously, it depends on how much it costs, if it is too much, then I'll wait a while until the price comes down or look on the internet for a good price! -
Sony Dvd-rw And Copywrited Dvd's Is it possible to copy?
sonyguy replied to Darren0330's topic in Hardware Workshop
You can use DVD shrink, you can find the download here. "DVD Shrink is software to backup DVD discs. You can use this software in conjunction with DVD burning software of your choice, to make a backup copy of any DVD video disc." That's what I use and it burns it for you aswell if you want it to. I prefer using Nero to burn though. If you don't want the Hungarian subtitles on your DVD then you can untick the box that says Hungarian subtitles and it won't be on the finalised disc. It's so easy to use. -
Multiple Explosions Rock London Blasts in London
sonyguy replied to cse-icons's topic in General Discussion
I live in South Wales and firts heard at about 12:30 at school during my history lesson. The person that told us is actually the class clown so we didn't believe him at first but oat lunch time we looked at the news on the internet. Deeply shocked. The latest I have heard is that more than 30 people have died an around 350 others have been injured. Here you can see the underground passengers evacuating at Kings Cross: The blasts occured in these places: *Between Aldgate East and Liverpool Street tube stations *Between Russell Square and King's Cross tube stations *At Edgware Road tube station *On a bus at Tavistock Square I feel so sorry for all the people affected by this event, it makes me feel sick that these people would do such a thing! -
Systems like this are certaintly available at this time. Just recently I was talking to a technician that works in this kind of stuff and he said it was quite expensive but it's worth it. He actually did his own house like this and we went to see it (he's my dads friend). It was awesome, using voice commands for almost everything (ie. turning the TV, lights, etc. on. Asking the microwave for ideas of what to cook with the ingredients you have in the cupboard). It's really impressive, I certaintly would like this! Microsoft did an experiment like this called the 'High Tech Home' you can find a video showing all this kind of stuff here. It would definately be a good business to get into, you should consider that technology can advance alot in a couple of years.

I was in school and when our class was told by our maths teacher we all started jumping about. I can't believe it, I will definately be attending (I'll be 20/21 then ). You can't believe how excited I am. By the way, if you haven't guessed yet, I'm British, from Wales

Is This Illegal? Music and Internet
sonyguy replied to fsastraps's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I have seen other websites that do this, but just incase I would agree that you use flash or another option I would consider is Wimpy Player. It's easy to use and really works well and only needs some simple HTML code added to customise it. -
I love watching:The Simpsons, Futurama, Smallville, Little Britain, Dead Ringers, Malcomn in the Middle and ofcourse Big Brother :unsure:All great programs, I wouldn't know how to class them in order...

I have an Integral 1GB USB flash drive. I think they are really good, once when I put it in though, it froze my computer. No problems other than that. It's quicker than burning my stuff to a CD anyway

Lol, I would have thought Google would have done this ages ago...My ISP has a page like that, with TV listings etc..

Having loads of programs open isn't that big a deal. My friends always complain about that to me aswell. I agree, I can't live without having loads of programs open My computer is pretty good, it doesn't really slow down hugely at all.

Stupid Science Teachers discuss stupid science teachers
sonyguy replied to WeLoveFord's topic in The Vent
My physics teacher is a bit dumb in the subject. She was teaching us about forces and she moved on to air resistance, she actually said to us "I don't know anything about air resistance" She had to actually ask our chemistry teacher about it, who, moving on, is a great teacher, you really cannot imagine how great he is. Then, our biology teacher, she is just MAD! Really, if you heard her speak it would make you feel ill. -
Dell are really great and not hugely expensive. Great service aswell. If you don't mind spending a bit more then Sony VAIO laptops are marvellous! If you are going to be using your laptop for multimedia then I would recommend them.It all depends what you need your laptop for...

What Is The Strangest Thing Anyone Has Ever Called You?
sonyguy replied to monkeys-r-orange's topic in General Discussion
Well, when I was in school we had a really 'smart' subsitute teacher for RE class and he wanted to know my name because apparently I wasn't on the register. So he looked at my books and it said clearly 'Adam Thomas' (my name) on all of them. He managed to say my name as 'Graham Wilkinson'. Not sure how he managed that, it was hilarious. -

Guestbook Script my integration...
sonyguy replied to badinfluence's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I agree, I don't particularly like Bravent guestbooks, tried t out a while ago, must have got rid of it within a week Anyway, yes, very simple, it's actually quite good. Adding emoticons, add such other add on's to the guestbook it would really be great!
