Hi guys!I was desperately looking on internet for any help with migrating Seditio database to Joomla.. I`m admin on site which has more than 2500 members and day by day I get annoyed by pretty dumb solutions in Seditio..can anyone tell me how to migrate the seditio site to joomla?any tutorials on internet on database migration?thanks

Well, it`s been a while since I last time posted on T17 and I really missed this forum. Well, I started taking lessons on webdesign in my school. It`s pretty hard because the professor is pretty dumb , and he can`t solve simple image alignment problem with css , so i have to learn almost everything on my own. I finished the layout in CS2 and now it comes the hardest part. Coding! It will probably take some time because I haven`t learned a lot in school, but before I start with coding, I would like to get some feedback from you ppl! So here is the layout: What do you think? GFX crew, your opinion please! Be harsh on me!

My new host will give me a chance to make my "dreams" come true.More space is the main reason i had to go with paid host, otherwise i would have staid with T17 because its better than other free hosts. But i will be here regularly! This was my first hosting and i learned a lot here!

I also get the database problems! Its really annoying especially when i try to write content! When i click save it shows me database problem and i have to do this again!

For $10 i can get unlimited bandwidth and 4GB of space with Cpanel and Fantastico and other features!

wisehoster.com has limited bandwidth, doesnt have CPanel, doesnt have Fantastico and quite lot of features are missing.and i guess they wont give me back my money(like mine host will) if i stay with them for one year..

Hello, I am having database errors. They started after yesterdays HDD change. Its all fine when i refresh site, they not that often but still i get them. It says "could not connect to database". And i also received mail from gamma.xisto.com which says: so i am contacting my host..

please dont tell me that we will lost all of our files! I have made backup but i havent downloaded it to my PC.

OK i solved Fourth problem! Basically i needed to enter ,not ordinary link like themusiconly.info, link with whole bunch of //. I had to include /components/etc....Now it works fine!and SMF forum banner;i cleared code a little bit and after that uploaded pic again and now it works fine!Two more problems to go!

Thanks Jlhaslip for your help! I added "php_flag register_globals off" in .htaccess and now it works perfect! I ll stroke that problem in my post! Thanks again!

Is there any possible solution for the php.ini problem. Maybe if i can create my file called php.ini which will only have function register_globals off?

Hello! We all know that we need to create backups so we can lower the risk of loosing files. Well If you want to know more about Cpanel backup pleas follow this LINK. This site made me think, where the hell can i found option Home Directory Backup. please correct me if i am wrong! Complete backup,aka Server Backups, can only be restored by web host provider, in my case, T17. So i got one question, how can i restore my files then? In my short weblife i have only created backup once and restoring it was pain in the.. well, you now the place... i had to unzip it o my computer and then manually upload it through FTP and rewrite files. After this "successful" backup, i had files missing and i had to upload them again. I tried to do this restoring through Cpanel, but it seems to me that in Cpanel i cant rewrite files, or am i wrong? So please help this newbie to understand one simple thing! HOw to correctly make and restore backups!

I think it`s to early for young child to choose life type and his career when he is in 8th grade. He probably havent found something that he will enjoy doing. I thought that i knew what do i want to be, but now when i am in this school, day by day i see that i have chose the wrong way. I m not a quitter and i wont change the school but still, voice inside is telling me that i have screwed it. I should have listened to my father and go to other school.
