What Programming Languages ASP CGI JSP PHP C/C++ ...
Spectre replied to eforumhongkong's topic in Programming
No, technically HTML is a markup language, hence the name 'Hypter Text Markup Language'. It's not a programming language at all. -
Sort of. Shackman didn't know this though, so don't give him a hard time about it.
-
Hey, that's a great idea. Then we can ban you from the forums for deliberate spamming, and blacklist you from ever using any of Trap 17's services again.
-
This post should bring me over the 300 line. I'm catching up to you, wassie

*Thread re-opened. Sorry Shackman, I don't want to overrule you, but this is The Vent. Pretty much anything goes (within reason - see the closed sticky in this forum). However, it doesn't boost their post count, so they can't use it to get hosting really fast. It's all good - you are doing the right thing, and what you are supposed to do. But it just doesn't really need it in The Vent.

The only real languages I code in are C and PHP.I obviously have to be familiar with HTML, but that isn't a programming language. And I use JavaScript when I have too. But I wouldn't go bragging about it. -
If you go into cPanel, it can be done under File Manager.

Ooo, chicks with bald heads

But the reason that your website wasn't working had absolutely nothing to do with Trap 17, odomike.

C++ isn't exactly going to help in building a web site. -
Assuming you're talking about the original signature from R3D, I think it looks fine without a border. Very well done.

Domains go for around US$8 a year now, so they aren't really that hard to get.

Swish is OK and easy to use, but it is very limited. The animations which you can create with it also run much slower than those done in Macromedia Flash. As I've said before, it's sort of like Visual Basic compared to other programming languages.
-
They are just URL redirection services, not top-level domains. Some, such as UNI.CC, do provide full DNS features, but they still aren't TLD's.
-
No. If you want to register and pay for a domain name yourself, then it can be used with Trap 17 hosting - but it is not provided for you.

Windows ME was where they first started to try and combine Windows NT and Windows 98. It failed miserably, and is widely-known for its shortcomings and general bugs and annoyances.I've had quite a few BSODs on Windows 2000 Professional, but I am yet to see one on Windows 2000 Advanced Server (although I do use Professional a lot more than AS). Still, it is obviously no where near as many as with Windows 98/ME.

Do you mean you want to lose your actual account, or just the files in your account?

Supaflyfrank, do not spam in the forums. All of your responses could have, and should have, been in a single post, not spread out accross multiple entries.*Posts deleted. -

Welcome to Trap 17, both of you. -
I use Opera, and I've never experienced this error.

Secretly, so am I. Me and admin sneak off late at night to go and pump our steroid-charged biceps, and help each other out in the gym.

If you want, but I can only help out from time to time - I can't be scripting around the clock or anything. -
@123@@, you simply upload them via FTP. And then you call them from your browser.
