So basically, the lower it is, the better. So if it is on 0%, don't whinge, or else it will probobly be raised.X3r0X, that is incorrect. And you were just calling deejames a n00b :(With the reputation, the higher it is the better - but with the warning level, the lower it is the better. 0% means you haven't been warned at all - 100% indicates that you are probobly about to be banned.

Hello, RiosJoe. That's all very well, but please don't post it more than once.*Other post deleted.

killahg, the disk viewer only shows how much space actual files are using. However, directories and empty files still take up space, so if you have a very large directory structure, the size might get pretty big. And do not put illegal content (eg. copyrighted MP3s) on the server, or else you will be banned without warning.

Look under the forum 'User Contributions', as Zenchi already said.

Parking a domain with a web host just means that the domain is pointed to that host.A parked domain will always work from the root of your account (ie. '/'); add-on domains are set up within a new directory, hence creating an entire new website. You can have as many parked and as many add-on domains as you like with Trap 17's hosting.Although it isn't really technically correct, when I say 'parked domain' I just mean a domain name that is set up and working with a web server as a web site. If that makes any sense.Anyway, this is getting off-topic. Please post any questions you might have in the correct forums.

I was referring to this situation.

No, you cannot transfer your domains here, as Trap 17 is not a domain registrar. You can, however, park/use existing domain names that you own with your hosting account. So if you were to purchase a domain name (mobileunlocking.co.uk is already taken), it could be hosted at Trap 17.

Google automatically adds the 'www' prefix onto the URL. It has nothing to do with whether or not it is required, and is only done because Google checks to see where you are from (via IP), and then redirects you to a country-specific web page if possible.
-
It doesn't matter whether or not you include the www prefix.

I enjoy catching, killing, and eating fish... does that count? -
You can use UNI.CC's webforwarding services if you are experiencing these problems, which works in more or less the same way .tk and .co.nr free redirections work.

This forum is intended to be used for introductions only. This means no spamming, no advertising your site (mentioning it is OK, just as long as it isn't the entire point of your intro). All members, new and existing, are free to post their introductions here.

Settle down, Triple X. Posts made within this forum don't count towards a members post count (as of now), so it doesn't really matter if they make it short. Seeing as this forum was only just created, existing members are allowed to 'introduce' themselves if they wish. That said, this forum isn't meant just for advertising. So please keep it to a minimum (as in non existant). I'll let this post go, but don't let it happen again, anyone.

UNI.CC domain names often experience this problem because they are just a subdomain on top of the uni.cc top-level domain name. Presumedly, cPanel attempts to add the domain name 'uni.cc', and obviously fails. This is just one of the reasons why a UNI.CC domain name cannot be set as the primary domain for a hosting account.

A new forum, 'Introductions', has been created in order to allow new members to introduce themselves to the community, should they wish to do so.It can be found under 'General'.

[warning] Russian Hostage Situation Not for the light hearted.
Spectre replied to Zenchi's topic in General Discussion
Is this that relatively recent incident where terrorists siezed a Russian school? I was absolutely horrified by this. As you said, death and surrounding areas are a part of life - but in such conditions, I just cannot tolerate it. I mean, killing an adult who is innocent and unarmed is something I would have great difficulty doing - but small children? How could someone bring themselves to such a point that they are willing to do that? I saw images on TV and in the newspapers at the time that made me sick too the pit of my stomache. Which is not something that happens easily - I may be young, but I have see a lot in my time. Oh, and if this is the same incident you are referring too, I'm pretty sure the terrorists were demanding the release of some inprisoned 'comrades'. This is getting a little off-topic, but seriously - how do such people expect to get away with acts of terror in this form? The Russian government simply could not afford to buckle to their demands, regardless of what the price might be - which in this case, was the lives of many children. It's very easy for us at home to think what cruel, heartless people they might be for refusing to give in to the terrorists demands in exchange for the childrens safety, but think about it - if they had have done, then it would send the message to all other terrorist cells and extremist groups that they too could get away with such actions, and I would imagine it would result in the same event re-occuring all over the country, and even the world. As the head of various governments say, 'we will not negotiate with terrorists'. Regardless of how terrible, how devestating, how horrific, and how inhumane the outcome might be, the reality is that negotiation in this form can only make the overall situation worse. We can not afford to relent to the demands that these people make. -
Uh yeah what he said but....wtf your pets middle name? who the **** gives a pet a middle or last name? O_o_O I think that Zenchi more ment obscure words or phrases that no one but you would know, rather than literally your pets middle name. Having said that, some people give their pets extremely long names. And they are perfectly free to do so.
-
The point of this being...?I think I know the answer, but I should at least let you explain yourself before I start takin' names and... well, you know.

Well, we have passed the 1,000 member mark. It's not an extremely large number as far as forums go, but it is certainly a notable achievement. On behalf of all of the Trap 17 staff, I would like to congratulate and thank all of our members for helping to make Trap 17 what is today, by keeping the quality standard of posts high and managing to work together well. I'd personally like to thank wassie and Zenchi for being excellent administrators, and for making it a pleasure to work along side them. As well as to the moderators, who help to ensure Trap 17 stays clean and enjoyable for everyone. And of course, an enourmous thank you to the root admin, for making Trap 17 possible. Keep up the good work, everyone! [Note: the member number might be decreased slightly after the next removal of inactive accounts]

WorldLingo's translating services are not free. And web sites in Chinese are obviously not going to suit the average user who doesn't speak the language, regardless of whether or not they get it translated.

The only reason that Internet Explorer is the most commonly used web browser is because Windows is the most commonly used operating system on personal computers, and Internet Explorer ships with it.Microsoft was taken to court on the grounds that these were unfair trading practises (or something along those lines) back when Windows '98 was released with Internet Explorer incorporated in such a big way, as it means that the average user doesn't need to go and find other browsers to use so doesn't bother. They got away with it because they claimed it was a new part of Windows or something, and that the new shell operated completely around Internet Explorer - or something like that anyway. If Opera or Firefox were shipped with Windows, then obviously, they would be the most commonly used web browsers.
