I have tested my site http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ in: Netscape Opera Safari Firefox and Internet Explorer. Normally i never have any problems with IE it's always Firefox, but now the only problem is with IE. If you have IE 6 or 7 look at my site and you can see the header grows outside of the table. Can someome help? It wouldnt be as big of a deal if it were happening in Opera, Netscape, or Safari, because not as many people use those compared to Firefox and Internet Explorer.

My sites basic outline is done, and have a few of the tutorials up, but before i go any further i want to see how i add these things to my site so i can add them in case they will be in includes so i dont have to go through dozens of pages and add them. 1. Comments. How do i make them and what program languages can i use to create them. An example of where i would put them would be at this link at the bottom of the page: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Do you even think i should add a comments section? 2. Rating system. How could i make a rating system on my site? I would want it so there is no users and it just uses a cookie OR use the same users from my forums. Is this possible and how. And example rating system would be like here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JY1DRe=ATVPDKIKX0DER But of course make the stars nicer looking, but how can i make something like that on my site? Lastly and the biggest question of all is how can i set these things so you can't do them unless you login and it's the same login name and password and user accounts as the forums. So if you make a forum account you can then add comments and rate them and do not have to make a new name. Sorry i am new to PHP and MySQL. To be honest i have no clue how to use those things other then PHP includes and when i try to learn i get more confused then before. I know CSS and HTML fluently and getting to know Javascript pretty well.

Well if you mean a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get editor) then Dreamweaver 8 is outstanding. For actual coding... Dreamweaver 8 is outstanding haha. Really though, Dreamweaver 8 is both a WYSIWYG and coding editor. Plus it has an FTP and everything. Best program on the market i believe. Comes with a price, but you can use the free trial to see if you at least like it. The trial is the real product for 30 days. Notice from saint-michael: you know the rules don't mention that. I have spent a lot of time on the creation of my new site. There is still a ton of work to be done, but i have just enough to show you a good sneak peak. I have been reading "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins, a Nobel Prize Winner. He is a extremely intelligent man. To answer you question about this: How would we pick what religion? Let's say we didnt and just picked the best thing from each one, what is the right ones.? Everyone has a different belief. Next i want to say i absolutely, 100%, HATE when people try to convert me. I will only be able to convert myself. This goes for most people here. Next i would like to say Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking are both Atheist. You need to know the difference between religious as in God religion and religion as in a set of beliefs. I have my religion that i'm Atheist. that IS a religion. Did you also know that Thomas Jefferson was an Atheist and they think Abraham Lincoln was an Atheist also because he never said anything good about religion, but was quick to say bad things about it. If you look at religion as a place to go because your sad, why do we need religion? Why can't you listen to music, go and read, come here and post, or even go visit a relative? Why do you need to talk to someone up in the sky you can not see or even prove? Here is a review of a section of the God Delusion about how prayers dont work: This was an experiment put on by a theologian! Then he said that it doesn't really mean anything. Do you think if everyone was healed that was prayed for they would say it doesnt really mean anything! No! Religion is surviving from people who do not want to understand the way things work. They want to know why not HOW they work. I want evidence and the only evidence people give me is faith. But if i were to tell you that there was a flying tea-cup in outerspace between mars and the Earth, but you cant see it because its to small for any telescope to see, could you tell me thats not true? Could you disprove it? No, but you wont believe it. So why do you believe in something like God who also can not be proven, explained, or even give one good basis on why you believe that is true? Give me two, and only two, pieces of PROOF or to make it easy not even proof but something that is weird on how close it is, that creationism is a real thing? Now i can give you some on Evolution not to mention the honorable mention of the Catholic Pope saying how he has accepted it from all the proof shown to him! If you are Atheist would you tell someone who asked you what religion you believe in? No, but i know thay Catholics, Jew, and more would say right off the bat. I can tell you that i feel discriminated against because i'm Atheist. Why you ask? Maybe the fact a former president, George Bush Senior, said that Atheists are neither citizens or patriots because it is one nation under god. Wow talk about a country supposed to not be based on religious beliefs. What a joke.

Kasm, we finally agree on something. After all that arguing in the A World Without Religion topic i made awhile agoi can honestly say that me and you think alike on this subject. This trial was horrible. Also, how can you say killing people is an evil thing, THEN, kill the person who killed people because you said killing is bad. What a joke. Let me first say this is actually an updated topic of my other topic about how i was in love with one girl, but she didnt like me anymore, but this other girl was my back up girl. Anyways onto the post. Girl X = Girl i loved, Girl Y = Girlfriend i didnt like, but was with to make the other jealous. I have grown so attached to girl Y. In the past week I have lost all interest in girl X. She is immature, and doesnt know what she wants in a boyfriend. Girl Y though, oh my, she makes me feel so awesome. She cares and loves me and really does. I used to ignore her, and be an *bottom* and let others be an *bottom* to her, but then something happened. She made out with another guy and i found out about it and she told me about how i was doing those things. But do you know how long i was with her before she did that? 4 months. In those 4 months i was the biggest *BLEEP* boyfriend ever. Not the *BLEEP* guy who chicks dig, but the *BLEEP* who makes you cry. I am very, VERY ashamed of what i did. Now however, it's something totally different. I stopped talking to my friends, and she stopped talking to her friends. I love her. Girl X emailed me and said i email you and IM you and you just ignore me, and before i would be like im sorry, im sorry, lets hang out. Now it's like i just want to spend time with Girl X. There is a problem though. What if. What if she isn't the girl i thought she is after we have been dating even longer? So here is the main things i love about her, but are these thing you think will change soon or drastically? 1. She is low maintence. She never asks for anything. She asked for a $145 purse, but thats the only she has ever asked for in 5 months. Do you think after marriage or whatever she would be a lot more needy? How would i know if she is someone who just wants lots of things? Because she comes from a not so wealthy family and i come from a family that makes almost 90,000 a year. There is nothing wrong with that at all, but after a year or so do you think she would become more needy? 2. She is very caring and loving towards me. She worries and i love the fact she just really truely cares about my bad day at school, or when i had to get a shot under my knee cap she was honestly worried. 3. Me and her have the same morals on children. No hitting them , no daycare and having them sleep in our bed is fine. I havent found another girl with all those things and is just good with kids. She was letting my baby sister put makeup and put lotion all over her and she was just laughing. She was laying down and My baby sister would go through her purse and she didnt care. She seems like she would be a great mother and it's a turn on for me to find a girl who is great with kids because i have 2 baby brothers and 1 baby sister. But do you think she would be a good mother or is she just saying what i want to hear and acting like that around kids that are not hers. 4. Last but not least worry is she stuck through my *BLEEP* because she said she knew i was the one. She said she honestly couldnt see her self with anyone else. Is she just saying that, because if she is she does a damn good job of it not doing anything but being there and nice when i was being a *BLEEP*. But do you think she would be like that in a year if i screw something small up. I would never ever do something as mean as before, but lets say we get in a big argument, do you see her leaving? The main reason i want your opinions is because i am making big changes in my life to accomadate our relationship because i believe it WILL work out, but with a 51% divorce rate and the fact i have lost all, but one of my good friends because i spend hours and hours with her i feel scared that she will leave or something will happen and everything will be gone and that was all a waste. Maybe i'm just weird! So should i break it off even though i truly think i am in love with her, but the whole reason i went out with her was to make girl X jealous? Dont worry about it at all. People are going to be racist and there is nothing anyone can do. They are simply uneducated. I believe its great people date other races. I think you should date whatever race you are attracted to. If you are personally bothered all the time about this you should probably not be with your lover. Simply because it will affect you. If you can get used to it great! If not you should at least stop and just think about if this is going to hurt your relationship. I dont want just transparent pictures i want a sort of rollover image. I see this done on myspace a lot. A transparent picture that when you roll over is less transparent. I want that for my site. Ive seen this in HTML and CSS. Either way is fine with me. I looked on this site and google, but never really found what i wanted. Almost everyone was only how to make it transparent, but not roll over.

Why does it take you 20 mins to open something. They have a dock to put all your most used Applications (programs on Windows) which I have 20 and they fit nicely and the other ones i dont use often are only 3 clicks away. Same amount of clicks as Windows Start > All Programs > Program > .exe file On a mac its Mac HD > Application > Application. Actually quicker. Thats is true haha. He did say a lot though. I mean a calendar, photo thing, search, chess game, gadgets. Its not like he did only stupid things.

Ya, your right they can't sue, but it's SO close to the same. I mean Widgets/Gadgets and the default Gadgets are the same as the default Widgets! That's amazing to me. I am a long time windows user also. I only switch to Mac for my Graphic Design courses. Now i am in love with it and its a lot different and i think cleaner then windows.

If you go to my site at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and you look at the home page everything is fine on all browsers. Problems start to arise very soon however. Here is my list of problems and i was wondering if someone could help with just whats wrong. I have done a HTML validator and found only 3 errors and all these problems still occured. You might find more now though because i am screwing around with the code. Here is the list of browsers and errors: Netscape 8.1: After you click on the pulldown menu and click the only tweak avaible at the moment the page gets bigger. You can tell because the header picture no longer fits. Safari 2.0.3: Pulldown menu pulls down, but does not send you to the page. The error does work when you click the "Top Tweaks" selection however. When you type in the URL of where it is supposed to go it appears correct though. The URL of where it is supposed to send you is: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/tutorialsws_to_vista.php Firefox 2: Same as Netscape Opera 9.1: None IE 7: None As you can see i have tested it in almost all of the main browsers. Opera, which is my personal favorite, works along with IE which most people use anyways. Firefox is my main concern. This code wont work in Safari, but works fine in Firefox 2. Can someone help. The error pops up however. It just doesn't do anything unless you dont pick one and then it says Pick a Windows tweak, but if you DO pick one it doesnt even try to load anything. Didn't Apple come before out before Windows then Bill Gates tweaked the UI a bit then released it. For a long time Windows made it's own stuff and was original. I believe that if Apple keeps making great inovations that they will end up ahead. The problem is that they are so far behind and they dont really accept to many games. Actually Macs new OS has a thing called spaces which is a rip off of Linux systems, but that is the only thing i saw.
