Well I mean step-by-step instructions are awesome, but I think that the images distract from the content because there are too many, some of them are missing, and some of them are just plain ads for videos and images.

If Task Manager is disabled, I highly doubt that you will be able to access the Windows Registry.

It means that an administrator has disabled Task Manager, simple as that. Unless you are administrator, you can't access Task Manager. My school does that to prevent us from shutting off security/network applications. It is most likely done via Group Policy Editor, which I'm assuming you are running a computer from a network, a domain, using Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista Business or Windows Vista Ultimate.

 

If you can find a way to override this without knowing the Administrator password, it can be reported as a privilege escalation security threat.

What is a .bam file? Why would we need to open one? From the looks of the available pictures, it looks like reverse engineering a software application.By looking at the software website, it looks like Panda 3D is for designing 3D games and such. Is this what a .bam file contains? 3D imagery data?It may help to explain more details about what we are doing instead of just giving step by step instructions to do something. We need to know WHY we do this because the concept is unfamiliar to many people (I think).Please also note that some of your images do not work.

I was also wondering if you could use the PHP image extension to create animated GIFs or animated PNGs. That might be more useful than using software to create it because it can accept more variables. I know that it is possible, but I'm not sure if it is by PHP or what.

Can anyone tell me the benefits of animated GIFs or PNGs? For webpage use, I think it is mostly annoying, especially when using them as those small ad buttons or even big ad banners. As for printed media, well, printed media can't be animated ;)I have tried making animated GIFs before in a graphic software long ago. It was harder than I thought.

Also verify that the screen resolution that you are trying to get 32-bit colour on actually supports 32-bit colour. Some screen resolutions can only display 256 colours, while older monitors (from Windows 95/98) can sometimes only display 16 colours at the lowest resolution.

I have the gone.php file in the root directory of my subdomain.

That code only gave me an internal server error (HTTP 500). I tried 302, 301 and 410 and it still does the same thing.

Wouldn't that redirect ALL directories to the root directory? I just want to redirect one, not all directories.

Have you tried making both images display: block? From what you mentioned, you can try:

#logo {margin-bottom: -3px;}

or

img { display: block}

Also, you have absolute positioning there. Unless absolutely necessary, you shouldn't need to use position: absolute. IE6 support is becoming less and less, because most people use either IE7 or alternative browsers now. You may want to consider dropping support for IE6, and let the browser render the page the way it wants to.

You can try using Live Webmaster Tools to manage what Live Search crawls for a specific site. It isn't as advanced as Google Webmaster Tools, but it is mainly for Live Search and is quite useful actually.

Why would you need to make 2 windows active or look active at the same time? You can probably do that within the Apperance dialog in Windows by changing the colours of inactive and active windows, but it would be extremely confusing especially if you have something like 5 windows open.

I think that the Internet speed test hosted at http://www.speedtest.net/ is more reliable because it has a lot of different servers around the world (especially in North America and Europe). It also gives a comprehensive report of your Internet speeds as well as information about other people in your area.

You can use GParted on Linux to try to reformat the flash drive. Remember to back up your data first onto your hard drive (or something else).I don't know what could have happened to cause Windows XP to not recognize the drive again. Did you check device manager?

Flash may be a factor, did you have any Java applets loaded at the time? Java literally suspends the entire browser on my Windows Vista. The whole browser stopped responding, every tab. It was until I killed a few chrome.exe processes in Windows Task Manager to close the tab with the Java applet.
