    Google Toolbar

the toolbar is really helpful, although they should make it a little less compact.. I find it difficult to use it as quickly as the google home page, even with having to go to it. neat little thing though
  6. Has anyone heard of the world's smallest car: a nanocar!!!it has actually been made out of a few single particles and has 4 wheels thaat actually move. It can go along :angry:scientists reckon that it will be useful for transporting other pieces of nanotechnology around, if only the idea of it remains... Imagine mini nanomotorways with thousands of cars. Theyd need a nanopatrol to clear up the crashes tho!!!There are many problems about tracking the darn things tho as theyre so small, its a new research topic that is having billions spent each year... along with those automated army robots that will be the future of warfare too...
  7. I also saw this a few weeks after it came out, the film was really quite enjoyable, although I think the blood effects had gone a little over the top into unreal territory... I agree with yotu about this having a great ending and it would be a wise place for them to stop the series. They managed to follow on perfectly from the others, and even not having seen 2 this made perfect sense.it had class:angry:
  8. I just recently bought a DSLR for hobby / fun as I enjoy taking photos. After much research i was looking at the cheap/ish DSLRs from canon (eos 350D) and the Olympus e500. Olympus e500 won over my heart as it you can tell it is just a quality product. its an 8mp camera, as is the canon and the colours it takes are more vivid / realistic than the canon. I think most people would agree the size of it is much more ergonomic / along with a rubber grip over just plastic. i got it cheap, with good case, decent telophoto lens, photo printer (a bit of a gimic, but has proven to be very good and useful) and a good 1gb card for ?600 which is outstanding for the value for money. the lens system used is believed to be the type that most companies will move to with digital cameras as they are perfectly designed for the sensor size and design. Nikon DSLRs are also very good but the price takes a huge leap. - their lenses are very good. Fuji (body only) cams are also very good, but again the price is quite excessive if only to be used for a hobby.I have been pleased with the Olympus e500 every time I use it, except for the very cheap packaged lens (17.5 - 45mm). Apart from this lens being very cheaply made and the quality lacking a bit, I cannot find a way to fault the photos taken with it as they seem to e absolutely fine even under scrutiny.
  9. My PC likes its on choices too. It decides what it wants to delete, when it wants to delete, programs, folders, anything. I need to re-install windows but I just can't afford to do it, what with having to re-install everything and backup files. What a pain. I suppose thats the only way to go about it
  10. Yep - seems to be working fine and looking as good as ever! itll be down to a different version of flash or some popup / activx blocker thingy probably.
  11. COD is great fun - its immense playing over a network with friends at school, and the mods are cool too. I've played it for ages and its just one of the most re-playable games around. love it
  12. LOL what an amusing idea - wouldn't the cat slip into the toilet?Find a way to make the toilet flush after the cat, say if ur out for 6 hours, when you come back and enter the room that would be a pretty disgusting surprise. maybe give the cat a dangly piece of string with a mouse on or sumthin to pull to flush. smoothly done
  13. Is anyone able to suggest a decent, free web gallery creater in flash that makes nice looking stuff without "free trial" printed all over the finished product...? I know there must be one or two decent ones out there but it is a jungle . Also any suggestions on a free editor / creater for animated gifs that is quality material :angry:any suggestions greatly appreciated
  14. Most Immensus Games Created:1. Legend of Zelda: The WIndwaker Has to one of the most epic games, lasts ages if u want to carry on after u finish, simple but pleasing graphics, nice controls2. World of Warcraft Wasted so much of my life playing this - what an enjoyable experience!!! (helps to have ppl u know playing too)3. Farcry What a beast4. Age of Empires II Unfortunately it broke for me
  15. Ive only played World of Warcraft out of these two, but if you don't mind paying I could almost certainly guarantee that once you get into it , after playing for about 3 hrs, its is just immense. You shouldnt be dissapointed with it if you decide WOW... :angry:also have a think on how many of your friends play each one. Having groups and guilds to be part of and to do quests / level with friends makes it much more interesting and enjoyable.
  16. For me it has to be the ones that are really free-roaming. Any games that allow u to go wherever you want should turn out to be great, unless they are just boringly cobbled together like some RPG'sGraphics definitely help - most bad games are somewhere in the middle with graphics, where they can look a little mismatched between realistic and cartoony, while the best have either gone original and made a new look or been realistic down to the smallest things that make it good :angry:A quibble to decide between the best and worst: a really annoying thing with gun-toting games is when there has been an attempt to show a hand holding the weapon, often these "hands" just look completely aweful, and as you have to look at this throughout the whole game it just gets ruined. It shouldn't be that difficult to just put a bit of effort into making a nice looking hand!!!
  17. Can't really remember lol - but it was probably some huge ravaging monkey beast in farcry what a good game...
  18. Looks awesome... too bad i don't think id be co-ordinated enuf to do it
  19. If it could go underwater it would completely out-do the need for aquariums :angry:there would probably be quite a big business in underwater car trips
  20. Definitey Futurama - I think its much more funny and doesnt just randomely change like the simpsons (e.g. just one minute homer is a total idiot and being smacked on the head with a spade and the next he does something really quite clever). the simpsons just doesnt seem to flow. FUTURAMA!!!
  21. Did anyone hear about that flying reconnaiscense project that the american government was developing,I heard it was a little smaller than a blue *BLEEP* and had a camera, with 2 mile range. It can even fly through buildings! - does anyone know if this awesome spy gadget actually exists?
  22. I agree it would be a customer losing plot if they stopped making halo. Its one (of few) of the best games on the new xbox that actually would make it worthwile...I think even I would rush out and buy one if they released Halo 3
  23. They should make it more free roaming, rather than always being pinned in by massive cliffs. The vehicles are already done awesomely, maybe add one or two H U G E beast of vehicles but they have to keep the banshee - it just rocks :angry:they should release it on PC quicker than the usual 2 year wait after releasing the console version.

    Audio Speakers?

Are u using a system of splitters to make the hifi speakers fit, if so this may be whats making it quiet. Most cheap speakers nowadays have a built in amplifier that should work fine:try looking at http://www.maplin.co.uk/ - they also sell those kits that antwill was talking about cheaply.
  25. Googles decently done: Advertising them would be quite handy to help finance and fill out a site - I might just give it a go
