  1. That is strange, the links wont work, and I am using FF, and then when I tried it in IE still the same result...
  2. I am not quite sure if this is legal or not. I hear that Google doesn't want you to have advertisements that say "oh CLICK HERE!" or something like that on your site, because of course the multi-billion dollar company loses a couple million dollars to people doing this. I suggest making something like a link to the SOTW that through a script when people click that also counts as a click to Google adsense. Or maybe you could even do something like using a clicker. Either way there's not much that you can do but wait with Google. They are quite smart people...
  3. This cPanel is quite nice. I like the layout, it is pretty easy for people to use. nice interface. Good work.
  4. Oh god I know the feeling. You think it's the right thing to be nice to someone, and then they think they got a new friend. It is the most annoying thing on Earth. I swear. They think that you are their close friend, and then they want to be around you constantly. I think it is so annoying. Then, they get mad at you, when you try to tell them to leave you alone, and then they say something like "I thought we were friends" and then you feel like saying "That's the problem!" but you don't because you are nicer than that. Yes I know it all to well. I am known as the nice guy, and it kills me in situations like this.
  5. Here is a list of proxies that I find to be useful for some deeds that you people may or may not engage in. // snipped // If that's not enough, I don't know what is. Notice from mayank: Please note that the list of URL never contributes in the forum, so you have to add quotes to such long lists. Quotes Added

  7. Well since people are selling their IF boards to other people, I thought, why not sell an IF board, that looks like an IPB. Here's the coding... 8. Well... as we all know, IFSZ is the Donald Trump of Invisionfree Skins. No one so far has been able to top them, and it doesn't look like anyone is going to be able to. They know that they are valued from every IF administrator that uses their skins, but they have a major flaw, and one that could become fatal if they made the wrong enemies, and that flaw is their ego. IFSZ has been around for quite sometime, and their members are truly addicted to the place, but since they know that they are the best, they have become a little too comfortable. The IFSZ community is quite tainted. There is only a specific group of people who actually get respect around there, and it's pretty much all of the staff, or legendary skinners like Kman or Goe. There is a circle of respect, and there is only 3 ways to get into that cirlce... You have to have one of the following attributes....1) Phenomenal Posting Skills: You have to post a lot, and for a long time in order for people to give you the proper respect that you deserve. You cannot spam, double post, or anything...You have to be a pretty perfect poster. I don't really like double posting, spam or things like that, but face it...any normal human has done it.2) Phenomenal Skinning Skills: This seems to be the quickest route. If you have the skinning skills, you get known and respected very quickly. For instance...Kman is talked about all over, and his skins are refferred to the best of us. If you got the knack, use it. Otherwise you are on the road to the scenic route.3 Be a Staff: This is the longest road, and takes the longest time, but even if you get the job, you'd first have to do task number 1, and then some. Even then, you are not as respected as a good skinner is...Now, this doesn't apply to all of IFSZ, but a great deal of the people there. There is no remorse for people who are not as good as others there. There is no encouragement, and I garuntee that there is over 50 people from IFSZ that could have been GREAT skinners, but there skins were ridiculed to the severe level that we all know that IFSZ can go to. Face it, unless you are a Nicola, Goh, Kman, or any other legendary skinner, IFSZ will always down on you. You truly can't do anything right there just because so many people are riding your **bottom** all of the time.Don't believe me? Go ahead noobs. Make a skin, see the reaction. It's just how people are nowadays. (IFSZ in particular). Even the administrators are this way. I think that it's pathetic. Even if you make a masterpiece...do something wrong, and they jump the gun. The worst part about it is when you make a post, and the first 3 replies are good, and then some staff member makes a post that's negative, and then all of the sudden, every single post afterwards is one kissing the **bottom** of Nicola.
  9. I am not sure how fast my internet connection is actually. I can give you the specs though. I use a Belkin Wireless router with HD/SCD (amp) drives to recieve the data. That's about all that I know. I use Comcast High Speed Internet and love it. It's very fast, and I enjoy it. How can you find the proper specs for the connection, I didn't read this whole topic because 17 pages is a lot for me to read.
  10. Well you should really setup your e-mail first because that will give you updates and information about your hosting and things. Then you should just browse around which I am sure that you already have done. I am not exactly a professional either, but I will try to go through this stuff as best as I can... Submit a Support Request- This obvioulsy submits a request to the Xisto admins and they might be able to answer your questions. Add / Remove E-mail account(s)- This adds or removes account emails which like I said before are helpful for information. Read Webmail- Think of this as your hosting E-mail inbox. Default E-mail account- This resets your e-mail account I think. Auto Responders- This manages your automatic responses to some e-mails. E-mail Filtering- This filters the e-mails that you get in your inbox to certain settings. Aliases / Forwarding- Not sure what this means to be honest. Email Domain Forwarders- Not sure either. Email Address Trace- I feel dumb. Not sure what this means either. Mailing Lists- I think this is a mailing list like yahoo. Change Password- Selft explanatory dude. FTP Manager- This manages your FTP accounts, and FTP is pretty basic, but you should download FTP software first so that you can begin uploading things. Disk Usage Viewer- Self explanatory. File Manager- Manages files on your hosting account. Deletes, renames, etc. Index Manager- Self Explanatory. Frontpage Extensions- I have no idea what this does. Web Protect- This is a way to help from viruses and stuff I am assuming. It should protect your website somehow. Custom Error Pages- Do you know the 404 Error page you always get when you go to a webpage that does not exist? Well this let's you customize them and make your own messages to the public. This is kinda cool because you can have one like Xisto's that has this little server talking to you discussing the life of a constantly working server and the attention that he is neglected. It is quite funny. HotLink Protection- This protects your webpages from being linked to other web pages. SubDomains- This manages your subdomains. For instance... Gamerenders.com, the forum subdomain is gamerenders.com/forum This can make. Google.com and you can add a redirection to a new page like google.com/search. This makes the pages in your browser a little more organized. Parked Domains- This is a domain that you already have like https://www.google.de/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=BwkjVKfAD8uH8QfckIGgCQ&gws_rd=ssl, there is a redirection that makes it so that when you type in something like hoohle.com, you get redirected to google.com, well you "point" the hoohle.com domain to google.com so that when someone types that in, they get directed there, but you can do this with a pre-existing domain. Addon Domains- This adds domains before the actual domain. For instance. www.google.com would be changed to ilove.google.com. Manage Redirects- This makes it so that when a person types in something in the web browser, they are redirected where you want them to be redirected to. MySQL Databases- This is a bit more complicated. This manages SQL. You'll figure it out later. phpMyAdmin- This is another program for PHP files. PostgreSQL Database- No clue to be honest. phpPgAdmin- No clue. Backup- This manages backups of stuff. Like an SQL backup. IP Deny Manager- Not sure, but I think that this denies certain IP addresses from accessing your web page. Might be wrong. Leech Protect- Protects you from Leeches. Solid Snake should have had this in MGS3. Lol. Okay, I really don't know what this is. Image Manager- Not sure. Web/FTP Stats- Shows web and FTP stats in an easy-to-read chart. Sub Domain Stats- Shows the amount of subdomain usage in a chart. Error log- Once again, no idea. Bandwidth- Shows how much bandwidth you have used in a chart. Latest Visitors- Shows lates visitors, how? I am not sure. Raw Log Manager- I am clueless. Raw Access Logs- See above statment. Cron Jobs- See above statement. Mime Types- No clue. Apache Handlers- No clue. Manage OpenPGP keys- See above. Networking Tools- No clue. SSL Manager- See above. CGI Center- This is somehow linked to the FTP CGI I believe. Fantastico- Here are a list of web scripts that you can use. Agora Shopping Cart No clue. Java/CGI Chat Room This gives you the information to link yourself and others to your chatroom that comes with the hosting package. PhpMyChat Room-Manages your chatroom. Search Engine Submit- This is a search engine I believe and allows you to make one? Language- This is the language that your adminCP is in. Theme- This is the adminCP theme. To be honest, I am not fully sure all of this is right, but I am only trying to help you.
  11. This game also features responsive AI, and a much more intelligent overhauled gaming engine. There are some misses in the game though. For instance, you can walk right through gaurds sometimes. There are times when there is no one in sight, and then the next few seconds, a person appears. Changing uniforms is as mundane as it has always been. Even when you have a silenced weapon, sometimes people can hear your guns. There have been issues with the game actually freezing up in midlevel which is quite irritating, and the aiming system has some problems with the laser sight because sometimes you cannot even see the reticle. Other than that, this game is well estalished, and it has it's quality. OVERALL: 7.9/10 Notice from Avalon: The quoted text was copied from one of many sources on the internet. ALL text taken from other sources must be in quote tags. Warning issued.
  12. Actually "Yes", it can be fun. Yes I did forget pretty woman.
  13. To be honest, this game was not all that satisfying at all. I didn't enjoy it, and it could have used a bunch of work. The controls are wacky, and the graphics are mediocre. I think that the hype made this game bigger than it was. The shooting system is putrid, and the controls are not all that great. The experience was also very predictable, nothing about this game was new to games in general, the only thing amazing about it, was that it brought Tomb Raider up from that pit of shame that it was living in for quite some time now.
  14. I love the multiplayer on this game. I actually have not played the actual game yet, and Ihave had it for about a year now. I think that the graphics have improved, the responsiveness of the controlls have improved, and overall, this game satisfies my gaming hunger. ESPECIALLY online playing. I personally upped everything on my computer to show bullet decals and stuff. I lag just about 0.3 seconds slower, but it's worth it because you can find some interesting things with this graphics upped to the fullest. For instance. Before I would just roam around shooting people, and people who used the cloaking device would really just be totally invisible to me, but when I upped the graphics, I can actually see their outline clearer, but when I am running and gunning, they slip right by me, because all I am looking for is that damn blue or red team (Whichever team I am on at the moment). Also, I was running aroung on Blood Gulch and I went and got the sniper rifle, but I saw some gunshots on the ground and I read it, it said DIE, well apparently one of my friends who was the sniper on our opposing team thought it would be funny to write that in the ground to distract me while he got his aim, and sniped my **bottom**. I thought it was *BLEEP*ing halarious until I wiped my eyes, and saw that he had not only killed me once, but when I respawned again, I was in the same area, so he got me again, and he totally lowered my score. But stuff like that is worth adding that little bit of detail to the game. Also, the dust particles are worth it too.
  15. This game is truly awesome. I think that overall, for an ARMY game it's awesome. This was the first game ever made from the ARMY to recruit people, and it's pretty accurrate. Like you just can't go online to any sever, you have to complete practice (VERY HARD) to go and play on certain levels. Online multiplayer is a real pain in that you know what. It is VERY HARD because of it's realism. Its pretty much 2 shots and you are dead, and then you have to wait forever to join again. I would think that a respawning feature would be more convenient and a bit more fun, but overall the game performs well. The smoke gernades are beautiful, and they are actually realistic, because a team of smart players will all have 1 smoke gernade thrown out by each player, making a MASSIVE smoke could that you cannot see through at all, and they will all have some left over. The weapons are perfect. The aiming is a bit harder, but it is realistic. I perfer Halo: Trial Version better but I can't say that for what the ARMY was aiming for, that they didn't make it. This game has quality, and I think that everyone should commend that. The graphics aren't top-notch, but they aren't just some lame graphics engine either. This game has that edge on it's online multiplayer mode, and "yes" it can be improved, but then again this was only a recruiting instrument, this isn't Killzone for crying out loud.
  16. I thought this was pretty cool when I first downloaded it but after a short period of time it not only got old but got creepy. This is wierd that sattellites can see me in my back yard if I am outside when the satellite updates it's images. This is wierd. It makes me wonder what else the people at Area51 have if Google can get it's hands on something like this. Although it has been pretty helpful for geography quizes and tests. I don't think that it is actually worth it to have for everyday use, but it is one of those prgrams that you may just want to keep if you are still in school, or are just easily amused by looking at pictures of the Earth. And in that case this program will be like a blessing to you, because not only is it free, but it has some wicked details. You can even pan the camera to where it almost looks like the pictures of the Earth are 3-D until you realize that it is just a seamless picture of one big image.
  17. Before I start this lesson, I will say this. I myself am a bisexual male, so I know what both sexes want, and I am not always right, but MOST of the time I am. It all depends on the girl or guy, but in this case it will be dealing with the average girl. I believe that one night stands are just ignorant, and they honestly hurt people, whether you chauvenists out there care or not, it's not something you should expertise in, let alone be proud of. Anyways, I have made a list of some things that you can do to keep, or create some spice in already existing realationships. These all should be scanned to see if they fit your particular girlfriend...Alright here we go... NON-SEXUAL ROMANCE - Watch sensitive movies with her. It really can get you to know what she thinks is sweet and just lame. Try to watch something that will make her cry so that you can be there for her. Here are some that are all time favorites... * The Perfect Man * Jerry McGuire * Pearl Harbor * Titanic * Hitch - Try to do something fun that could lead to you both being in that mood. What I find to help is to have whipped cream fights which is obviously like taking a can of whipped cream and spraying her with it. Try to tickle her. Every woman on Earth is ticklish (Not true but most are). She will giggle and it just lightens the mood. - Stop with the damn flowers. They are okay here and there, but a lot of women are getting tired of them. - Embarrass yourself for her. Go to wherever she works at and do something funny. Women love men who go and sing a poem in front of her friends, or do something sweet like that. Women especially love it in fron of their friends because it makes them feel even more special. - Look at the stars. This may sound cliche' but it is one of the prettiest and most long-lived beauties of this Earth, and you should always compare her to something as special as that. Women love that. - Follow the advice of a ladies man. Trust me, you may be thinking that I am just an immature 16 year old, but TRUST ME, I know what I am doing on this. I have had a few LONG LASTING impressions during my High School Years...
  18. I use McAffe because so far it has kept my computer VERY clean, and god knows that I download a ton of music that could be infected. All I have to do is download the file, and before unzipping it or extracting it (Whichever word is more perferable), I scan it with McAffe and if it is infected I delete it, and send it to the recylcing bin, and then just delete it from there. Every so often I will completely clean my C:Drive, but it's not very bad like it used to be before I got McAffe. I think that when I had Norton that more viruses were on my computer, until I switched. I have got a total of 3 viruses on my computer, and they were all with Norton, and they brought pop ups, and stuff like that, so I got McAffe, did a virus scan, and I haven't had to worry about them since. I highly reccommend this program to anyone, and I think that it's actually free, or the trial is, but we bought it so...
  19. I have McAffe and I didn't even know that it had a site advisor. So what does it do other than what was stated in the first post? I mean is their any benefits from having it other than the ones stated? And how in the heck does it get all of that information about downloads? Does it scan all known downloads and look for viruses on each site, and if so, wouldn't that take a long time? Or is their like a submission service to where people review sites, and send their reviews to the McAffe reviewing advisor, and it averages out the scores and gives a total average, and if so, couldn't people give certain sites atrocious, or VERY HIGH scores to mislead customers? Sorry, I am just a little interested in how this works.
  20. Well to be honest, it seems a bit mundane. I think that it is pretty boring. Everyone has those fading affiliates buttons, and I think that you should have put more animation work into it. Not that it's atrocious or anything, but you could have out more work into it.I wonder what animation software you use. I am going to assume imageready, although I could be wrong. You should try to spice it up a bit more. When people look at affilates buttons, they take a glance at each one, which averages about 3 seconds on average per button. What people actually click on, is the affiliates buttons that stand out, and catch their eyes. Preferably the prettier ones. You used an ARIAL font with a 1 pixel stroke around it, and a white color to fill the font with. I mean, that is pretty boring if you ask me. Maybe you should try doing something like making text come out of sparkles because sparkles go PERFECT with a blue background. I'll be waiting for your results.
  21. I don't know you all that well but from what I gather you do the hosting and are the administrator. Well I myself am grateful for you being here and having a forum like Xisto. I think that this place will work wonders for income, and freewebhosting. Although free webhosting is looking more predominant. Anyways, this forum is amazing, and it is a great place to be at for everyone, not just moochers, but for graphic artist, website designers, and noobs, and everyone in between. Thanks for keeping this place like it is, I wouldn't have it any other way.
