Tell Me What You Think Of My Sig
biscuitrat replied to hellRAISER666's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Other than the colors, it's fine, I think. Maybe a little tall but that's my preferences - short and long -
My friend got me involved in crazy things a few months ago and they're still going on. Basically, she saw me talking to this guy and said we'd look cute together. In front of him. He got the idea to ask me out from that, but he has this crazy inferiority complex as well as being pretty ADD about things. Not my type. I just told him why I didn't like him, and although he's still trailing me, I don't let it get to me. However, my friend got a beating @_@

Not too bad, but I revised the story!LONG LONG AGO THERE WERE A MAN WHO TRY TO MAKE HIS SITE THE ULTIMATE AND BECAUSE OF HIS SKILLFUL VENTURE, HE WAS IN THE HAPPINESS: TRAP 17

I think the whole thing is retarded. I mean, we're always on our toes about things like this, to the point where we'll get rid of the threat before it becomes a threat. We currently have more nuclear weapons than anyone. This is a way for us to stay on top of things - at the cost of lives. I don't like war. I think it's retarded. It's pushing all prices up, ruining our reputations, and adding to national debt more than anything else. Bush is being crazy paranoid and I think the military should have the option to back out. We spent five years in Iraq and people are still dying although nothing is happening. It's a waste of time, effort, and lives.

I made ours with a little intuition, the colors they chose, and a capslock key - the templates seem so generic :/ -
Anyone Got A List Of Firewalls?
biscuitrat replied to H3arts_4nxi3ty's topic in Security issues & Exploits
My dad has about three billion of them running simultaneously. I believe he uses Zone Alarm, the windows one that's built in, Norton, McAfee and Agnitum, which is a free one. I used it for a while, and it can be annoying - like all firewalls, but it's pretty cool. -

My Cpanel Doesn't Have Everything It's Supposed To
biscuitrat replied to xXsyreXx's topic in Web Hosting Support
It's all there, don't worry. You just have to look in subcategories. I think (not sure at all) there's a search feature, but I'm probably lying.Yeah, don't listen to me about that part. BUT I assure you your Cpanel is wholly intact and beautimous. -
There are so many out there already But yeah, it might be pretty cool. I haven't done some serious roleplaying for at least a year. Oh, what I would give for my D&D days when I could be a narcoleptic lame, blind, mute sociopath - and I even rolled randomly for them
-
It's built off of the Livejournal code, which is great, because it's open-source. I mean, if I knew a thing about programming, I would readily just...whip out something cool. I guess that's what AP Comp Sci is for

Finally someone who believes what I believe! I tried it a few years back, and it scared me off for life. There's so much corruption of the gameplay that it's just...hard to sit through it. I still have an account there, I think, but I won't be going back there. Heck, I know people who pay large sums of money for little items - not that that doesn't go on in any other RPG, but for Runescape? Why? That's like spending $60 on 10 pixels and HEY! We throw in two pixels free!

No illegal things, no porn, no wares, no mp3's - it's all in the TOS. But if it's your software or you have the right to distribute it (as in the person who made it gave you permission somehow), then it's ok.If it's not yours, don't try to put it on your site without making contact with the creator first. If you're talking about files that you would normally have to pay for, that would constitute as an illegal thing.Just read the TOS, I guess.

Whatever it is, I'm in. I've wanted a domain for so long and I'm hoping that having one at last will persuade my dad to buy one for me -
What Is Singing All About? How to sing? Some tips and answers..
biscuitrat replied to liauce's topic in General Discussion
Three or four little things:1) Vibrat(t)o usually comes naturally if you open up and sing.2) You can pick up tenutos, marcatos, dulces, szforzandos and all of those lovelies from any music teacher. Example - I learned them from piano first, and then reinforced them in band to use them in singing.3) Sopranos don't always get the melody. A lot of choir songs combine alto and soprano to make a melody and have the bass and tenor as harmony or odd little things like that.4) It really does help to listen to each individual part of music so you can listen for subtle changes in music. Since I play trombone in my band, we often provide the bass for the rest of the band while the higher pitched instruments carry the melody. Never underestimate your tenor or bass lines! -

What Is Singing All About? How to sing? Some tips and answers..
biscuitrat replied to liauce's topic in General Discussion
Oh god, a lot of people sing from their noses. But hey, if you want to sound like a dying cow, by all means continue. And I'm sure you'd be great. I'm still mastering not going flat on some of the high notes in my songs...or hitting them at all :/ -
Futuristic Web Layout CC approved...
biscuitrat replied to bluhapp's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Also, iFrames are disastrous for me to look at. You could easily extend that layout and give yourself some decent content area without making us scroll. I mean, would you either look pretty or salvage the rest of your layout and maybe put something decent into it? Plus, you're going to have fun slicing it or whatever you plan to do with it. Sidenote: Whoever's going to end up using it is 1) not going to have the same font, so include that. 2) may not be able to pull off the same effect and 3) will probably need more room for links. I mean, I write a lot and I usually like to have a lot of pages - aside from this, not everyone will need a place to sign in or will have a forum. And let me clarify - a forum is not a CMS. It's a forum and nothing more. -
Enabling Html At A Phpbb Cant get it going ...
biscuitrat replied to jlhaslip's topic in Web Hosting Support
Enabling HTML has the tendency to screw up a forum. Try disabling it or enabling it in your admin panel and then again within your post, if that's applicable. Generally, I would avoid it however. -
Omgz you're practically my twin. Also, on top of Wild20's description, 24 hours equals one credit. So it divides a bit slowly, which is probably easier on you, and it divides momentarily. Not sure if it's exactly 15 minutes, because I'm too lazy to time the change, but it's a short amount of time nonetheless.

It's nice, doesn't have too much of a feel for it though. It looks like you were only trying to make things rhyme because they don't go rhythmically for the most part. The song title is never or rarely mentioned throughout the song.So...yeah, the concept is nice, but the meaning's just flowing past me.

As a girl, I find it rather...I dunno, confusing, sometimes. It's all right, if it's purely for the sake of being near someone you care about, but I wouldn't really put it too far up on anyone's priorities. I mean, you're close to people every day of your life, sometimes closer than you would have wanted to be.If that's your thing, rock on - have fun with it, but it's not mine.

biscuitrat replied to Goosestaf's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Careful on the contrasting colors. I really like the varieties you picked out, but all things in moderation and moderation in all things or however that goes.Lovely silver you've picked out though. Tres bien! -
It looks like a glorified monitor - hmm, why is that description familiar? But yeah, it's pretty.

What Is Singing All About? How to sing? Some tips and answers..
biscuitrat replied to liauce's topic in General Discussion
I know that when I sing, I want to either be standing or sitting up straight to get airflow. Always open your mouth, to the point of yawning, but not quite there. You want to project your voice. Never sing from your throat, let the air come from your stomach. It may sound weird, but if you can work air out of you with your diaphragm, you should be all right. Everyone has a set range that they can sing at any given time. Don't overextend yourself. For example, I'm a soprano - I can manage alto, but tenor or bass would be out of my grasp. However, I'm extremely comfortable with mezzo-soprano. And I think lastly, ornamentation that a lot of singers use today isn't exactly necessary. It does show how powerful or flexible your voice is, but if you can't do it well, don't do it. It's not necessary to hear moaning and groaning. Also, vibrat(t)o is not something you can just force out of you - wiggling your chin and shaking your throat will only ruin the quality of your sound. And yeah, that's all. -

Usually, I use DivX or Windows Media Player. Or you know...there's always the TV if the computer isn't handy.
