    I think i might add the interactive media in a little later in the year, mainly because i am swamped with allot of what i am doing now, and i would have to make (not capible of) or find the stuff :blink:I dont just have RPG's on there, i have a forum too and i am planning on taking the RPG off because no one does those things anymore (was the actual webmaster's idea's)the forums are not very active because my forum service recently upgraded, and allot of skins havent beeen converted to the new version yet, so i am saving to officaly open it in the new year.q

    thanks for the advice, and like i said... i am not done with it, i need to add a logo, and when i do it will not be red.. and i still need to add the menu titles :blink:thanks for the link, i'll check it out sometime

    ok, well i've decided to attempt to make a few website templates, and this is what i gotten so far.... I have made these for my site... and just wanted your opinion, and some advice... they are not completley finished yet... because if you cant tell i still need to add logo's and a few other things, but some suggestions please!!! they are a little bit bigger, but you know photobucket

    no, i would like for the <html><head></head><body></body></html> i just want to be able to put content in the textbox, and have it automatically put in the correct table. but the rest you have is correct yes.

    if someone were to sign up on 25 sites, with the same handle as me 'Albus Dumbledore' and make an introduction post like the one this member made on coolduck's forums saying something along the lines of this: then they are spamming My site, and they are spamming an xisto site website, which i am sure that OpaQue does not want to have a bad reputation of having his members spam his website because he is desperate for members, when he for sure isn't desperate at all. and also spamming my site. wouldn't OpaQue or another xisto admin automatically look at the user name and say Albus Dumbledore, hmm he's on Xisto hmm the profiles say pretty much the same thing, 'Intrests: Harry Potter' etc... and would they automatically ban me until they can further investigate the issue, meaning get IP address etc... because to me, that would be the logical thing to do while investigating it, and so i figures xisto admins would use logic and do that. but if they dont do it that way, then i still have a worry about it because i don't want xisto or me to have a bad name until it is completely investigated. and yes, coolduck did his admin duties and all that, but what is to say this person doesn't go out to other sites and spam it up?

    Ok, what i am looking for would be a script, that has a page set-up similar to this http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ But, what i want it to do, is when i type in the Name: box, that will be the file name to a new file on my site. and whatever i put in the Content: box, will be the content that is put inbetween he top part of my sites HTML, and the bottom part of my sites HTML... and it would automatically have the HTML pre-set into the code, and easy for me to change it if i change layouts. it's kind of hard to explain, but if you dont undertand please let me know. I know there are scripts out there, but i dont know where i can find them./what to call them >_< so it would kind of be like this and whatever i put the File name: as, it would save it to the server as for example index.php if i put index.php in the File name area..... this is all that i want it to do. i dont want to be able to edit other files or anything else....

    Yes, but would xisto admin's think twice about checking that before they ban me and my site? no they wouldn't they would just ban me and the site, and i would be stuck without a site until i dispute it, and frankly i dont feel i should have to do that.

    Within the past week someone registered me on someone elses forums, to be specific, it was coolduck123456 's forums.They Registered using Albus Dumbledore, and made some posts saying that they were Albus Dumbledore from Xisto.I am not the one who registered there, and i sort of in fear for my sstatus on XistoBecause coolduck believed that i was the one who actually registered, so who's to say that this person doesn't register me at 50 other forums, and say the same thing, advertise my site, and Xisto's site, and come to Xisto or xisto, and get my site banned and me banned from the forums for spamming Xisto and my site, or get xisto into trouble for spamming their site.If there is something that an admin can do to make coolduck give the full IP address to you and you can search the forums to see if it is anyones, and if so contact the person and tell them to stop.Thanx-------------------EDITI was just informed that it is not coolduck's site, but it is a friend of his. so if admins here can not make coolduck cough up the IP i am going to go to the hosting company the site is hosted on and request it from them and tell them the situation

    hey tsunami, thanks for the script you wrote me, it works like a charm and i plan on adding it to my site when the new year roles around along with a few other new features!! thanks a bunch!Cant wait to learn PHP so i can figure out how to draw the Default Image, and the Name automatically from myspace lol

    This tutorial is an extension to my 7 tutorial series about the Cpanel. The 7 different Cpanel tutorials can be found below. Part 1: E-mail Management Part 2: Useful Site Management Tools Part 3: Useful Site Management Tools2.1 Part 4: Analysis/Log Files Part 5: Advanced Tools Part 6: PreInstalled Scripts, Extras, and Cpanel Options Part 7: Fantastico Detailed Cpanel Tutorial Part 2.2: FTP Management For this tutorial, you will need to locate the Icon under Site Management Tools labeled FTP Manager and also inside of the FTP:// Accounts area Adding A New FTP Account 1) Locate the link that says '[ Add FTP Account ]' Near the bottom of the page, click it 2) Enter the Login Name, this will be the name that the user uses to log-in to the File Manager, or through the FTP Client 3) Enter the password, this will be the password used for accessing the File manager, or through the FTP Client 4) Enter a quota if you want the user to have one, this ca be used to ensure that they will not upload a large file taking up all of your webspace 5) Type in the directory that you want the user to have access too, if you want them to have access only to the forums then type in the directory used for the forums (IE: /forums) But if you want the user to have access to all of the files that are on your site, then simply type in '/' without the apostrophes and that will grant them access to all of your files in the public_html/www folder 6) Hit Create and you're done! Deleting An Old FTP Account 1) Locate the icon to the right of the account you want to delete that says Delete 2) Click it, It will ask you if you really want to delete the account, click yes if you really do, or no if you don't really want to -Note- You are not able to delete the default accounts, they are identified with the logo next to it Setting a Quota for an Already-Made FTP Account 1) Locate the icon to the very right of the account you want to set a quota for that says Quota 2) Click it, and enter a quota in MB that you would like the user to have. -Note- If you want to change it to unlimited, then type in unlimited in the box and they will be set to unlimited MB upload Changing The Password For An FTP Account 1) Locate the icon to the right of the account that you want to change the password for that says Password 2) Click it, and type in the new password that you want it to have. ----- Miscellaneous Stuff Identifying the Main Accounts The Main Accounts are the accounts that have the Main Account logo next to them, Disconnecting a User From FTP If you want to disconnect a user fro the FTP server for some reason, you can do it with the click of a few buttons. 1) Go back into the Main FTP Manager page that shows two icons, one for FTP Accounts, and the other FTP Sessions 2) Click on FTP Sessions 3) Choose the one you wish to disconnect, be careful not to disconnect yourself -Note- This will Only Disconnect them temporarily, they can automatically re-connect a minute or so later.

    Ok, the request i am making is quite simple atleast i think it would be What i would like, is for someone to take my websites layout, and add christmas lights around it.... http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ is the site http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - logo http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - filler http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - footer i was thinking, if someone does do this, maybe you could put lights from the upper left corner, and let them spam all the way down to the bottom, then across the bottom of the footer, then up the right side? I understand that the FILL would need to be bigger than that so you could fit a light bulb or two or three on it. and i have done that http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ the fill.jpg expands to all of the content, so you would need to make it to where the bottom of the fill.jpg, will always be able to attach to the top of fill.jpg, as well as the top of bottom.jpg if you dont understand what i am saying, post and i will try to explain more and if you do take in this heavy burden i will give you credits

    Ok,Since a new year is coming around, i would like to give my site a bit more spunk to it, meaning give more things for people to do, for people to look at, for things that people can interact with the site. I dont mean like a games section, i mean like things that i should add to the site.I allready plan on adding a Website Review Service, an awards ceremony for websites (where people vote on which site they like the best) , i plan on bringing in a new MySpace thing for the site, to attract Harry Potter fans from myspace. The myspace script i have, i might just take it down and put it back up when the year starts as a new thing..But what else can i add that will get more people to come to the site? besides more Harry Potter content.maybe A Topsites Listing?thanks for your help now its my bed time

    have you tried taking the drive out and checking to make sure there is no gathered dust in the port preventing the connection?Try taking it out, blowing on the port on the drive as well as the port in the laptop and then put it back in and see if that helps

    I completley agree with you keri-j, I think that someone -maybe all of Xisto- should complain to the writers of IPB and ask them to change it to where the smallest amount of letters you can use in the search box. Lord knows, it would probably take the changing of maybe 2 lines of coding, and they could probably send it out with the rest of the screw-ups bug's that they are fixing with IPB 2.2 right now..

    @ not knowing your sexuality at young agesDon't you just love how to world seems to thing that people under the age of 18 are un-capable of making decisions on their own? I mean, what does being 18 have to do with anything? You have to be 18 to move out of the house, you have to be 18 to be able to do something on your own without the consent of a parent or guardian. And NOW you have to be 18 to determine whether you like guys or gals? I don't think that's appropriate, i think that people under 18 should be able to make decisions on their own, but on some things need permission to do, like field trips for school, getting out of school early (Early Dismissals). When i say make their own decisions, i don't mean make MAJOR decisions in their lives, I'm talking about minor ones such as whether they like guys or gals.But as you said keri-j, hopefully someday the world will grow up and realize that there is an elite group of people out there who are under the age of 18 and are capable of making decisions on their own with having everybody and their mother contradict what the decision is (Everyone and their mother is basically saying EVERYBODY)

    they did choose to hang him? now that is way too fast.. me and my friends were debating LONG PAINFUL sentences for him... we were thinking about once a day, dip a limb (arm, leg, etc...) into hot tar and put him back in his jail cell. then killing him.... but i dont care, so long as he's dead
