  2. The first thing I would do is cry, of course. Which is what I did when I received a phone call that my father had died. Then I would turn to my surviving family members as a support system. Gathering together all those immediately affected by this death will give everybody the strength to go on. Then I would read the poem Gone From My Sight. This would soften the blow a little. The reality of things will hit you after the funeral. Mourning is the next step. Everybody must go through it at their own pace. Talking about it does help a lot, but you mustn't bore people by obsessing on it. Things do get easier to cope with over time. Prayer helps, if you are inclined.

  3. Travelers Rest is in South Carolina. It's near Greenville which wat a lot of people know it as.

Thanks for getting back to me. We have traveled down 26 from Smokey Mountains over toward the coast and down to Savannah,GA. That is about as close as we have come to you. Too bad we didn't know you were there, we could have shouted hello as we drove by. :)

  4. I guess dogs running at large are treated the same here (USA) as in your country. They are only trying to survive. People just don't seem to be very tolerant of stray animals, as witnessed by your experience. Most are on the streets because someone neglected to care for them or just dumped them off. We do have a Humane Society here that tries to catch these strays and find them warm loving homes. But, alas, most of the time they are snagged by a local "pound" where they are kept for a few days and then put to sleep if nobody steps forward to adopt them.

  7. I do feel for you, but unfortunately she will probably always feel towards you the same. I had a similar relationship with my close (brother) friend back in college. We remained friends even after we were both married to others. To this day I still feel the same way about him. Once you have established the sibling relationship in your mind, it seldom changes to something more intimate. And, I have known some people that thought that their feelings had changed, married and it never worked. That certain something that creates a mating relationship just wasn't there. Your best efforts should be put into accepting the friendship as what it is and enjoy it while it lasts. Then again it could last forever, like mine did. Good Luck!

  9. i mean from my instant messenger i hit the mail box picture and " Problem " , cant find the server " the original " error .

Seems your problem is with how you have Yahoo messenger set up or your fire wall (if you have one). Check the fire wall and see if you have messenger setup to be "server". If you don't you are probably getting the error message because of that. I have had several Yahoo mail boxes for several years, and have never had a problem accessing them. I have on very few ocassions gotten the error message, but I back up and try again an it connects just fine. Sometimes you can just hit refresh and it will clear things up. The "cannot find server" message has nothing to do with Yahoo. It is an error in the function of your setup.

  14. I express my sympathies to you and your mother. This is not a situation that I have personally dealt with, but I ran a search and found the following book:

SPEECHLESS: FACILITATING COMMUNICATION FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT VOICES by a Rosemary Crossley.

There must be an apparatus out there that is a feasible answer. I found this patent.

I hope this is of help to you. God Bless
