  1. I can't see Mich's and mike's Sigs so i will decide between rvalkass and Delivi,

I don't know why you couldn't see the two mentioned sigs, but don't you think it would be nice to consider them all in your choice? Perhaps if you came back and tried again, you might render a fairer decision. Then again, you may still feel the same way.

My vote goes to StMike. His glow effect always catches my eye. Delivi lost the "i" at the end of his name which I blame on his blending. I don't like the color choice in the text on rvalkass's sig. As for the use of the "required" elements, I think rvalkass did the best of us all.

    Thanks for the vote FLaKes.

  5. Really boaz, that was a scarey experience. I don't know if I could have held still that long. I did have a mouse in bed with me once. It jumped off my window sill onto my pillow and ran down beneath my covers. I did the same as you and screamed for my mother. She didn't believe me until she threw back the blankets and the mouse jumped on the floor. I am really glad it wasn't a snake. BTW: What kind of snake was is it?

  8. Hello crazyfray Posted Image and welcome to Trap 17 from Mich, in Michigan, USA. As the author of the suggested introduction tutorial, I give you applause ****clap clap clap clap clap **** on your intro. Done very nicely.

So you used to be a badminton Coach, huh? Well back when (pauses to reflect on many years passed) I was our college female badminton champion. Not many people are still into badminton though. I now am retired and doing free web designs for people (usually beginners) to use for their homepages. I enjoy trying to contribute a little wholesome graphic content to the internet. I am not extremely knowledgeable in all phases of html, css and etc.; but I (being self taught) have accomplished a good hold on the basics.

As JL has noted, your posts are welcome as they are of very good content and you will be a refreshing addition to our little family here at Trap 17. So glad you found us. Look forward to seeing you around the boards. ;)

  9. How about using the default text size. My eyes are too old for that little type.

I have had dogs and cats along the path of my life, but I settled on cats as my favorite because they are easier to tend to, can be left alone more readily, and you don't have to walk them. I loved my dogs, but they did require more of my time. I have had more trouble with dogs than cats.

Of course my real favorite is a horse. Think of all the more things you can do with them. And, they walk you. ;) Although you cannot have them sit in your lap and are hard to house break. :D

  10. Hello Rahul (4ever27) Posted Image and welcome back to Trap 17 from Mich, in Michigan, USA.

So you are out of hibernation now, huh? Is this for real, or have you been somewhere else all this time? I am not familiar with you as I joined in 2006. Guess you were already asleep.

I wish you good luck on your future endeavors and see you around the boards.

Oh yes, are you still 27?

  11. Oh, so we are talking physical pain here. Well, the most painful thing I have experienced, other than child birth, is being kicked in the face by our pony. Believe it or not, it was my fault. I was not aware that she was petrified of whips and I was using one (for training only). She bolted on the lead line and I, dumb as I was, thought I could hold her. When she hit the end of the rope it catapulted me, head first, toward her hind feet. She struck out at my sudden lunge toward her from behind. She caught me flush on the nose. Fractured my nose and left eye orbit as well as giving me a cerebral concussion. It put me in the hospital for 10 days and screwed up my eyesight for about 6 months. But, hey, I lived to tell about it. I bore her no malice. She was acting instinctively and I was stupid enough to think I could hang onto 600 pounds of fleeing animal.

    Now about giving birth.

    Well maybe not.

I'll spare you that one.

  14. This cat loves you and he is scent marking you. Watch closely next time and I'll bet he is rubbing his face on you. He figures that other cats will not come to you if he claims you in this manner. He loves you and is laying claim to you. Here are some excerpts from articles about this behavior.

Cats possess scent glands in many parts of their bodies: their tails, paws, forehead, lips, and so on. These scent glands are used every time that a cat wants to mark his territory. When cats rub against a person or a thing, they exchange scent, leaving and picking up scent on each interaction. This is an important cat habit. If you suddenly decide to change all of your furniture, your cat will not recognize his own place and will likely attempt to mark what is new.

......You may have noticed your cat rub against you and lick you after you get out of the shower. Your cat is scent marking you, a sign that lets others who you are and that your cat owns you. Cats also do scent marking on objects. This scent marking is a cat's way of letting other cats know that the thing (or area) is his/hers.

Be happy in the thought that this little critter has claimed you as his own.

  18. Hello canner2u Posted Image and welcome to Trap 17 from Mich, in Michigan, USA. Yes, you have come to the right place for the best free no-ads hosting on the net. I agree that Arkansas is a beautiful state. We have visited there often as my husband was in Fort Smith during his stretch in the Army. He fell in love with the area, so we try to go through Arkansas whenever we can. It is a little out of the way when we travel from Michigan to Florida, tho. :P

  19. My favorite line is Holland America, because they allow you some freedom over the "gratuities" automatically added to your on-board tab. Most lines just add $10 a day per person and you have no choice but to pay it. Holland America lets you decide whether or not you want to participate in their automated system or wing it on your own, choosing who you tip and how much. Their food is great at both the dining room and the buffet. The buffet is open until midnight and the desserts are fantastic. There is also great entertainment in the show room as well as fun stuff to participate in the lounge.

Haven't decided when our next cruise will be, but are thinking about next year, late in season, perhaps combined with a land tour in Alaska. Would love to go to Hawaii, but am a little hesitant about all that open sea between west coast and Hawaii. Maybe we can fly to Hawaii and cruise around the islands.
