yeah ipb 2.1 is really great it aproach vbulletin a little bit so if you have money to buy it , get it !

IPB use CSS skining and PHPBB use HTML skining so i will say phpbb is easyer to skin because the usage of html .

well the best software around here is VBulletin but invision is getting closer , so if you want a payed board get vbulletin !

nobody will convert a payed forum with a free forum software cuz they won`t pay for vb and then convert to phpbb or smf , maybe they will convert from a free one to vb or other payed board !

imageshack.us is the best out here , they resize your image so you can post it on forums with a link etc . try it

you have 2 archives in that folder , the skin images and the skin file you have to go to the acp and upload them there in the skin acp .

Well the technology is evolving and dial-up will disapear soon because the dial up was the first way to connect on the internet , now it`s broadband . But you should design ur site for both of them because still a lot of people use dialup !
