I'm unable to place a link to my primary site. My webhost that has my primary site just went down, permenantly!

I've thought about getting a water cooled system, but they're much to expensive.Like others have said, these systems are designed not to leak and even if they did, there would be minimal damage.

Google Adsense Or Adbrite which one do you like best
uiop replied to vietonline's topic in Search Engines
I'd have to say adsense.I've never signed-up for Adbrite, but Adsense is more the "web-standard". -
Intresting, but I have various problems with online backup solutions.1) They're slow during uploading and recovery.2) They pose a privacy risk.3) They are usually "fly-by-night" operations.I'm not saying that this backup site is any of the above, those cons are just from my personal experiences.

I belive that would work, why don't you try ?

Television In Your Eyes Or Brain Its coming..
uiop replied to bounda's topic in Science and Technology
That is a really poor idea. People already watch TV far to much, and now you want to essentially add it to their bodies?!?I think that this, and all other body "implants" are going way to far.I don't recall the exact statistic, but American's already watch literally HOURS of TV a day!Maybe TV glasses would be OK for more immersion in the film/show, but this idea...Note: I'm not trying to personally attack you bounda. I just feel that this idea needs some work. -
Thank you for the guide! Hopefully with this I can increase my earnings from a max of $0.25 a day .For those of you that don't know, Google Adsense is one of the web's many programs that pays you to put their ads on your site. Google Adsense pays every time sombody clicks on the ad, but other program pay per view or by other means.

I've participated in a few banner exchange programs. These programs are really intresting, although they ususally don't drive all that much traffic to your site.

Finally! Hopefully soon I can quit hearing about how Apple has better MP3 players.I'm not a huge music fan, but I bet that Microsoft's Zune will be much better than the iPod.

How To Avoid The Bandwidth Robbery How to avoid the bandwidth robbery

If you have a good knowledge of .htaccess files and PHP, then you could probably make a message appear asking them to use their normal referer. -
Maximum Adsense Per Day! The max. cash youve made in a day?
uiop replied to freesoul's topic in Search Engines

Ipb Easter Eggs :d can be seen from trap17 forums :P
uiop replied to serverph's topic in Web Hosting Support
I don't think that IPB uses these methods to detect illegally used forums.IPB does have a built-in checking tool however: Just go to "index.php?ipscheck=1". This method can be used to find the registration number of any forum prior to version 2.1. The "ipscheck" variable is password protected for forum versions 2.1 and newer. -
Error Message not sure if it is because of trap17 or me
uiop replied to Bkag's topic in Web Hosting Support
That message would seem to indicate that MySQL is down on the server. You may have also provided invalid MySQL connection information. -
I think that Google would have to expand their market if they want to surpass Microsoft. If they come out with an easy OS, then they are defidently going to be competing with Microsoft.

Have you guys memorized your long email addresses? Or do you just carry around a printout of them? This is a great novelty idea, but I think that the fun would wear off after a while .

uiop replied to nirvana43's topic in Search Engines
I wouldn't say it's a scam, there's some very good information on the site. -
Indeed .You might also want to strip out HTML tags.

Google has an "escape" clause. They don't have to pay you.

Windows Vista Tranformation Pack Make you computer look like Vista
uiop replied to scab_dog's topic in Science and Technology
I can't belive that people would actually use this.If your computer can support this "transformation pack" and still have proccessor capacity to spare, why not use Vista? This is just a massive memory and CPU hog.If you want a pretty (non-functional) OS, use a Mac. -
It is completely and utterly impossible to write a googelplex. Even if all the known matter in the universe was converted into paper or disk space, there would not be enough matter to write down a googelplex!

I think that a world without religion would be one step closer to being a Utopia. The biggest thing that I hate about religion is all of the discrimination to diffrent groups just because the Bible (or other holy text) says that a specific group is bad.In my opinion, religion is just glorified brainwashing.

Alternative To Ms Paint lol a really good Alternative To Ms Paint
uiop replied to grimmy's topic in Science and Technology
Call me odd, but as far as I'm concerned nothing can replace MS Paint. Paint is fast, on all Windows computers and is great for little things.I have Photoshop, but I still like to use paint for some basic things. -

What Is The Fourth Dimension? something like a hypercube...?
uiop replied to apexbug's topic in General Discussion
I belive that the accepted scientific view right now is that there is 3 dimensions of space (up/down, left/right, forwards/backwards) and 1 dimension of time.An even harder idea to grasp is the one proposed by string theorists:According to string theory, there are upwards of ELEVEN dimensions. According to the theory, these dimensions exist as "rings" and are so incredibly small that we could never hope to see one.
