Haha I love Pivot, I've used it a lot for making stick figure animations for signatures and avatars on other forums I go on. It's so easy to use too.

I don't use internet explorer, it's slow for my computer I use firefox, but some websites I go to don't work on firefox, so I use IE, and it works fine, but it's a bit slow, but it's better than not working at all.

There has to be some sort of catch, with all that space and bandwidth.. some paid hosts don't even have that much space and bandwidth. I'm going to check it out later, but probably not switch from my Xisto, because I'm really happy from what I have right now, who the heck uses 15 gigabytes of space?

On the Microsoft website you can get a trial of the newest edition of office, but I'm pretty sure it's only for vista.

Ooo another habbo fansite. I used to play habbo, but quit because it got really boring. Lol I spent like over a hundred bucks on that game and I was rich and had gold hc.. anyways, yeah, both the main and the subdomain website work with or without the www for me.Regarding the www prefix, I don't think habbo would care, if it was like that if it became official. Btw what hotel is this for?

I would also say 9/10. When ever I have to search for something I use Google. I don't know why, I just do, it's really easy to remember. Theres no ad's (but text ad's but who cares) and the searches are fast. Theres nothing really wrong with it, but it's not perfect.

By looking on the apple web page, it had a chart saying it loads faster pages than firefox.. So I downloaded that, and I checked it out, and for me at least it doesn't.. So safari dosen't load faster pages than firefox on my windows and mac machine. And for some reason all the text on sarfai looks all blurry on my screen, and I can change it in the settings but it doesn't get much clearer like in firefox, or IE..

I'm currently in highschool, and I don't have a job, nor do I have time to have a job. Although you can find cheap hosting for about 1 dollar a month, and get a cheap $9 domain name for a year, I would think taking 5 minutes of your day to post a couple of times it really worth it. I can't find many free hosting sites with as many features as this one like cpanel, php, mysql, email and a lot more even on just the basic free hosting plan. Even though I haven't been here as long as other people, I'm really glad I found out about this site.

I didn't believe it would do anything when I first found out about it, so my friends and I did it in a parking lot, and the coke went so high up in air. We managed to get some mentos in side the bottle, and with the cap closed really tight, and we gave it to another friend who didn't know it was inside, and he twisted the cap just a little bit, and the whole thing exploded in his face, and the cap almost hit his eye.. lol dangerous.

Like everybody has said already, google webpages are pretty old now. I used it for about week, but I didn't really like it because you can't use things like FTP. Also I'm not really into the WYSIWYG type website builders, I like to customize it my self by hand. It's really great for beginners like people who use freewebs.

I've watched happy feet, when it first came out in theaters because there was nothing really else that was appealing. Me, personally, I'm not into happy go lucky, everybody lived happily ever after movies. So I wouldn't watch it 8 times lol. I do say, it was a good movie, if you're into those types of movies. I'm more into horror type films.Those are cool findings though

I think this would be great for me at least, I currently don't have a job, and I don't get allowance from my parents, I always go on the computer anyways, a couple of posts a day should only take around 3 weeks without spamming like crazy, and it lasts a whole year. If this came to effect, and I had enough credits, I would defiantly try to get a domain name. I've always wanted to have my own personal .com domain.Although that is a lot of posts, it's pretty reasonable for being totally free.

I don't really like flash sites, because they take longer to load, but they do have some cool effects. The only flash I would put in my website though are when you first enter the website. And I hate when there are sounds, most of the time I'm listening to music, and when you put your mouse over a link, it makes annoying sounds.

Yeah, just like everybody have said, unless you are using it to connect the router to connect it to another computer, or if you are going to use voip, it would just be useless just to hook it up to one computer. Or if you have things that use wi-fi, and you had a wi-fi router it would be useful, but I don't think it would be in your case.

I haven't played WOW, but I might see what's it like first before I actually go out and buy it. A lot of people at my school play and that's all they talk about. Seems really nerdy to me, but I'll check it out.

It would look better if you highlighted the top part with the circler selector tool (I'm not sure what's it called lol) and you made it lighter by adding white, so it looks 3D.

Yes that is a good but really obvious tip. My chatlogs on my computer have a password only I know so I don't have my parents going though what I talk about with my friends. Don't expect account to be safe when you give around your password.. Lol I know people who gave out their password, and got all their files deleted.. well what did you expect?

Gimp came preinstalled on ubuntu, and I was messing with it because I haven't used it before. Me being somebody who has used photoshop for basically forever, would find it hard to switch to gimp. Gimp as a lot of features that photoshop has which is pretty cool for being free, and photoshop is over a hundred dollars. If I hadn't payed for photoshop I would be using gimp though.

I was thinking about putting adsense on my website when I'm finished, but I don't think I would be getting a lot if they pay per click, because I don't think a lot of people will go to my photo blog anyways except my friends.

I think that was a good choice because nobody really likes annoying ad's. But personally, I didn't really notice them that much, so it wouldn't have really mattered to me. But I like it because I have a slow computer and it's somewhat faster now

Pretty much the only reason is that the pages load faster. My old 366mhz ibook can load faster pages on firefox than my 800 mhz desktop computer using IE.I don't care about how it looks, but if you really wanted to make it look nice, you could just get skins for firefox. I have IE 7 on my other laptop, but I can't install it on my desktop computer because it says that windows is not genuine. It's dumb because it came preinstalled with my computer.. With firefox it takes me less than 2 minutes to install, and it's straight forward. I love the simplicity of firefox too.

I totally agree, if everybody abused these tricks to get rid of the waiting time, it could just backfire and just make your download slower if everybody is downloading it. But I don't use rapid share though, the ad's are really annoying, so I don't upload my files on there. Good tricks though, if it doesn't get out of hand.

This may be off topic, but I have IE 7, and it does have pretty much all the features of FF, but I noticed that FF can load pages 10x faster than IE, and that's why I use it. Also there are tons of great plugins that are only made for FF. I have multiple Gmail accounts one for when I sign up for things like forums and newsletters, and my personal account, and for some reason I think they deleted my non person email, because I can't log in too. My other email works fine though. I've contacted them but they haven't responded..

I don't really see the point of using the the tab key trick.. It's more convent of just clicking the window it self on the bar.. and if your browsing on firefox, the tabs don't go though all the tabbed windows that are open.

I was thinking of doing that to my old computer as well. It's a Pentium 166mhz too. I had a 20 gigabyte hard drive, but I took it out to add space in my current desktop. Is it worth getting a new hard drive to put on a really old computer with linux? It's basically just collecting dust, and all I'll probably do is just word process.I was going to try a old version of ubuntu, but I'm not sure if it will work.
