  2. windows explorer didnt seem to work greatly for me, the connections were rather slow, and it doesnt have as many options as a dedicated FTP program.
  3. Aniki...you don't know how funny this whole thread is and how its such an irony B)Also don't give out the Md5 for your pass, epically if its a simple pass.
  4. Here's a tip: NEVER GIVE YOUR PASSWORD OUT.Lols. Never. EVER. EVER. EVER. Unless you make it JUST for that. Also some people save chat logs, don't assume 'they just forgot it'.
  5. Well I must say that your current PC rocks. I'd love to have one like that!Don't upgrade B)I have had the same one since the 80s until recently.
  6. i got exactly the same msg from one of my friends, luckily i didnt dl the filecos it was a COM, i asked him about it and he said he nvr said anything
  7. actualy, she looks very much like she did back theni managed to get her working again, turns out that the bios got nackeredthe terminal is sat in my living room, now running windows vista, she has 5 HDD's, 1 of which is the origanal, and the earliest dated file on it is a .txt from1996I open it every week to make sure it is still in working order, and believe it or not, i still have the origanal motherboard (there are special parts that you can get which fit in it)
  8. well, i asked this to the entire staff at the office, since then ive put some good systems in place to get hackersbut there was one, who completly downed our Network, it took weeks to restore, all i got when i switched the every single PC on was, instead of windows starting i got an Image, saying "Necro Underground"in the end i had to replace the motherboards because i couldnt even get into the menu, when i finaly got them working again, the floppy drives or tape drives with the backups on them wouldnt respondin the end this cost our company one hell of alot of money, and i was sackedso anyone know who he is? i want to talk to this hacker, im rather pissed off with himwe had an AV and backups running every morning and eveningwe had payed firewalls in place, and because of one hacker, the entire system had to be replaced
  9. well, whilst i was bored i was addicted, i played alot and got to lvl 102, sold my account and bought a PS3 B)now that i look back, it had the worse graphics ive ever seen in my life, lol
  10. This is a good method, im a System administrator, so am always having to look out for security holes and hackersAlso Encripting the files inside the folder is a useful techniquemaybe Encripting the folder itself, and taking away permissions to it
  11. erm, all i can think of saying to that is what the...****whats Slavehack? it sounds dodgy, also, who are you, i havent seen you before, but you seem determined to get memy real name is Andy Standringin 25, and am an absolute follower in Nintendoand am currently working in System administration
  12. i have seen only one that looked worse than that, it made me wanna gouge my eyes outbut whoever made that website should definatly be ashamed of themselves
  13. ive had it since the dawn of Personal Computers, since the Unix daysofc its had alot of upgrades since then, costing me £5000+it is now a VERY powerful PC running windows vista, XP and linux (tripple boot)i was on vista, and a popup suddenly appeared saying you have been haxxedthen another one popped up saying all my details, credit card numbers ectthen another one, saying "buy a new PC, i will help you"then the PC shut off, and now will not turn back on, i have no idea who the hacker was, and am worried about the fact that he has all of my detailsive tried replacing the HDD, its my absolute fav PC and ive had it for 20+ yearsat the time of this i was searching google for a Nintendo wii for my son
  14. i just tryed to remotly connect to my test PC using this methodit succeeded, then, depending on the XP service pack, it would either let me do it with guestor not let me do it with guest, if you can then the PC is just wide open from guest----> systemwhen i was in i experimented with differant thingsi changed the administrator and all the other passwords remotly, locking the user outyou can kill the AV's and FWL's on a PCyou can also revert windows back to its previus state (being win 98 here)you can play messages or music to the user of the PC, you can lock the PC
