If you just need an forum, I recommend forummer.com and invisionfree.com . They don't limit the BW but there's some ad on the page. If you're interested with this community, why don't you stay here and get a host. This hosting service is pretty professional (the best one that I've ever know). There're always other free hosts that support PHP&MySQL with no-ad. But there's many limitations (space, bandwidth, filesize...). Most of them require posting to make the site remain.

Yeah, but this kind of computer is not for me. I've read about it on the newspaper. It's mainly for kids. If don't have CD-ROM. 100$ ! Is it too much for such a useless machine? Why don't we buy an PDA instead, it's better. Anyway, it can be a gift for my younger brother's next birthday.

I've already met this problem before. May I help you? You can't include a page to another one so simple. There're many things to do. Fisrt, you must read the sourcepage(the page that contain included contents) then process it. You need to remove some special tabs (such as <HTML> <BODY> .etc..). After that, write it out where you want to display on the target page. If the sourcepage contain images and/or other kinds of media, you'll need to reprocess their pahts also.

I prefer MySQL to MSSQL. MySQL is very popular now. It's provided free or as a low cost (for some special need). Many web hosting provider support it now. Even though the MYSQL is better for large Application. But when you have such application, you may use another database, like Oracle.

If you're looking for a flexible and powerful programming language. I recommend Java. Its cost is pretty low. You can use the NetBeans IDE which can be downloaded from netbeans.org as the development platform. It's a free tool, by the way. Now, I want to ask you a question. What kind is your project ? (Web-App, Desktop, Commercial/Education....)

30GB is too much for an free email services. But I don't trust in this kind of email. Because when I grow and grow, who will pay for the hosting. And I can be slow down (like Yahoo).Finally, an ID like name@30gigs.com is not cool, right?Anyway, Gmail 's still the best choice.

The first thing to do is to install a Linux Distro. You should check this out http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ But in my opinion, the best choice is Fedora Core, it's the next generation of Opened Redhat Linux. I find it very useful and I hope you will too.

With my P4 2.8Ghz, it only takes less than 30 seconds to boot to Microsoft Windows XP and about 50 seconds to boot to Fedora Core. I can't belive that a 3Ghz is slower than mine.
