I have a particular folder link as an icon. In order to have that, you have to ungroup the similar icons, this is a menu, somewhere on the toolbars properties settings. For instance I have several explorer icons on my taskbar if I open several folders, and not a single icon with several tabs.

I tried it again yesterday, I simply grabbed the EAC shortcut on my desktop and moved it towards the center of the taskbar, and th EAC shortcut was pinned on the taskbar.
