Another interesting idea would be to find someone that would be willing to "recover" your property for your or if unable to do so at least make it unusable by your ill tempered client. You doing the recovery or deletion of the work you did at this point wouldn't be a good move on your part. I would suggest that you contact him/her and inform them that you have decided to take legal action and that you will be informing their ISP of the current situation between the two of you. At this point just thank them for the time they spent meeting with you and walkout. At that point I have actually had payment made for network design and rollout when they tried to stiff me. If they don't talk to a lawyer while your acquaintance deals with the site. But you didn't get this idea from me

I don't spam and I do my best not to flame. I've quit posting at to many forums to remember because of such behavior. Thanks for the warm welcome. Spent most of last night pouring over the tutorials in the web development area and fell asleep at my keyboard. Man I love this place lots of very good instructions and people willing to help out those of us who are just begining to get serious about our real intrests, computers and related stuff.

What Is Your Favourite Mmorpg ? is your choice

I'd love to vote but Guild Wars isn't listed. -
Ok, time for me to get fried, I know this is gonna happen but ok. The hole point of this game is that you don't have to do the "lvling grind" also to help eliminate PKing and lvl the battle feild in PvP so that the fighting is more skill based then, "I've got the biggest baddest sword, armor, ring, belt, ect..." and make it more about my team has practiced and works well and my guild has put in the time and knows how to work together. As for side stuff, I'm sure it will eventually come, they release new quests and explorable areas on a semi-regular basis. This is a ever evolving game, with a ever evolving community. Give it time, this game may last a year and die, but I think it will be one of the first of its type and might even change the MMO forever. We will just have to watch and see.

Apple Using Intel Chips Do I smell merger

Exactly Risc is better then Cisc. Why Apple would willingly make the change is beyond me. They are basicly down grading their product. Weird. -

Apple Using Intel Chips Do I smell merger

ok they might be able to drop their prices but the Intel Pentium chip is not better then the IBM Power-PC chip. The only Chip that Intel has that can compete with the IBM Power Chip is the Alpha chip that Intel bought the rights to and the likely hood that Intel is gonna role out a completly new chip line just for Apple is slim, especially if Apple is trying to save money and lower costs. -
first my serious remarks:download and run Spybot search and destroy, run through it automated first run prompts. This will update and run the program for the first time. If it doesnt auto run for the inital adwar/malware/spayware search run it. Then remove all spyware if found. If you have kazza, Imesh, Morpheous, or anyother P2P share program installed get rid of it. If you really want that type of thing then look for Warez P2P less spyware last I knew.now the sarcastic:if none of that works then you need to get some courses at your local elementary school to learn the basics of computing. Second if none of that works to speed up your internet then talk to mommy about a faster ISP and/or computer.

you would be surpirsed how many forums I've been on and I was the only person that posted that seemed to understand that...(bows). Also even at 768 megs, which is where I sit with ram currently I don't even go double for swap file, I have mine locked at 1 gig virtual. The reason for this is that it forces windows to behave more responibly. When you allow windows to use as much as it wants it getts a bit greedy at times and forgets to unallocate sometimes when you let your comp run for days on end without reboot.

Building A Budget Gaming Pc how would you build a gaming pc?
Logan Deathbringer replied to discharges's topic in Software
The main reason I would go for the AMD over the Intel is the fact that for the same price or a bit more you get a processor that can do TRUE multi processing. The newer games, especially the pure online games such as the newer Quakes, Unreal Tournaments, Guildwars, Final Fantasy's, EverQuests, Dark Age of Camalot, ect...not only require mid to high lvl graphic cards but also major amounts of processor work. With a processor that can do true multi processing will make these games run smoother. -
Aurora: Adware From Heck. Help me.. somebody

The best way I found to deal with spyware was to use a program called Spybot search and destroy. Even in the rare occurance that it can't remove spyware it has the ability to show you what is being run at startup and if it is a malitious startup program SB S&D know about it and highlights the startup command in red. The program also has quite a few other features you might find handy in the fight againsts spyware and malware -

ok the problem with OS X running on a x86 platform and keeping its stability and fuctionality is this. They are gonna be porting a RISC based OS to a CISC bases system. This means that to keep the proformance that they have been getting with their old systems based on the IBM processors Intel is gonna have to crank up the clock speeds even faster. As for Apple and Jobs stepping up and giving Gates and MS a swift kick to the pants, ain't gonna happen. The reason for this is that Gates kept Apple alive back in the late '90's by giving Apple a major capital injection. Its because of this major cash influx that Gates gave Apple, and this is my opinion, that is the reason that even though they seem to coverting to the x86 platform that gonna keep Apple from allowing the their OS from being used on any system. Although just give the underground programers time and they will probably find a way to make that a thing of the past when X finally does come out for the standard x86 PC. Bios locks won't stay around long I'm sure. Jobs will find a way to stick it to Gates eventually, of this there can be little doubt. There is no love loss there. -

I would agree that the AMD 64 processor is the way to go, but I would go with the MSI RS480M2-IL MoBo (I was able to find it for $108) as well as the MSI Radeon X800 XL RX800XL-VT2D256E Video Card (found this for $297) both are very good products and the MoBo supports both UIDE and Sata so that you can use older tech and save money now and still be able to upgrade in the future.Another reason for using the 2 MSI products is that it makes driver updates very, very simple. MSI has a programe called 'Live Update' that will, if set up to do so, periodicly check to make sure your using the latest drivers. Seeing as how most of the people I know, including myself, don't check on to make sure they are using the latest drivers, this is a handy little tool that runs in the background.
