  1. Well, Doom 3 is a good game and it has great game play; Halo 2 is okay, not as good as the first but hey, who doesn't like Halo? It's cool cause anyone can be good at it; Half Life really does own the other two. It's pretty great all around. Now you forgot to add some other great games like Battlefield: 1942 and Counterstrike. Those games own. And I own on them ....
  2. Hard decision there between the two.... Well I loved Halo 1. It was a great game, simple enough to use and the multiplayer was a lot of fun. You couldn't own people like god-like weapons and the gameplay was just better. The plot was also done well and I enjoyed beating it on legendary because it was so hard. Now Halo 2 is also pretty cool. It had so many new features then Halo 1, more complicated plot (which I didn't like too much), a whole bunch more weapons and vehicles, and like everyone mentioned above: more glitches. They were both a lot of fun to play but I'm going with the classic: Halo 1.The Bottom Line:Halo 1 > Halo 2

    Hey...

Hey man,Welcome to the Xisto community, good to have you here. I'm quite new myself, I joined about three weeks ago and then a week after that I got hosted. It's pretty cool and easy to do. I had a little trouble setting it up and MC (microscopic earth, an admin), a really good guy, helped me and now it's all good. If you have any issues, go ask MC, he's really nice and good at helping people. Anyways, welcome.PeaceCartman
  4. Hwy Xacrosancxion,Good to have you here man. I really think you'll like this site. Everyone here is really cool and there's always somebody who can help you with any computer problem. It really is a great community and when you do get hosted, it works real well. I've had my site up and running for about 2 weeks and it has been perfect. Anyways, good to have you and don't worry about trouble, everyone's nice here . PeaceCartman
  5. I think everyone's just hoping it won't hit us . But in reality, if the asteroid really is going to be coming as close to the Earth as these reports claim then we might want to brace ourselves. Someone else mentioned that all kinds of factors (other metorites, space junk, etc, gravity, etc.) can affect its path. If that's the case then it is very hard to predict whether it will hit us, skim by, or even get close. These anaylses are really just educated guesses. No one really knows on stuff like that especially when it's that far in the future. Then again, if it does hit us, we're screwed. I mean there isn't anything we can do.... Something as large as that would cause tidal waves, earthquakes, you name it. Probably get wiped out like the dinosaurs. And as to destroying it? We'd never pull that off for a few reasons. 1. We don't have anything powerful enough to destroy something that big.2. We don't have the technology / experience to fire a weapon into space, far enough to hit it before it hits us.3. What happen's if by some miracle we do hit it? Millions of rocks rain down upon us. That wouldn't be cool.Anyways, yeah that's my take on thing. Wow, that took a while...
  6. Welcome to the one, the ONLY, Xisto .... Anyways, yeah it's a cool place to be... The forums are fun and there's always something to talk about and everyone is pretty cool. And now that I've got my site hosted, it's great. You get a modification panel with cpanel which is one of the best around and the whole site works real well. Also, don't worry too much about the post count, you'll get yours up there... we all do . Wow, that was longwinded ..... AnywayspeaceCartman
  7. Ah...Counter strike. I haven't played that game forever. Very good game though. And yes, the bots.... So fun to kill but multiplayer is always way better. We used to have competitions at this internet cafe. Those were the good ole days .......
  8. Hey,Welcome to Xisto. You'll enjoy it here, I just recently got hosted (on the second package) and it's great. Took me a while to get all those posts but it is most definitely worth it. But it's not too hard since the community is great and everyone is cool. Again, weclome to Xisto, good to have you here.PeaceCartman
  9. Well, I was researching a bit about this and I went on the WHO's (World Health Organization) website as they are the people that actually deal with the disease. Here is their definition of it, "The Ebola virus was first identified in a western equatorial province of Sudan and in a nearby region of Zaire (now Democratic Republic of the Congo) in 1976 after significant epidemics in Yambuku, northern Zaire, and Nzara, southern Sudan. Ebola haemorrhagic fever (EHF) is one of the most virulent viral diseases known to humankind, causing death in 50-90% of all clinically ill cases. Several different species of Ebola virus have been identified. The Ebola virus is transmitted by direct contact with the blood, body fluids and tissues of infected persons.Transmission of the Ebola virus has also occurred by handling ill or dead infected chimpanzees." And lloyd, yeah I guess I tend to agree with you to an extent but at the same time, there is still a lot we don't know about it. For instance, if anybody's read the book then they'll remember the case with the nurse who had Ebola Zaire. She felt sick she didn't tell anyone and decided instead to rush into the city to a doctor. She was in contact with people all day and not one person got sick. So Ebola really is a big mystery still. It's quite a scary thing. And as for the US trying to use it, I really doubt it. Some liberal is just spreading that around. Why would they use something that they can't control?
  10. Okay,Well I started an account about 4 days ago and everything was going well. I started posting to get hosted. That went well, the community is great and everybody is really helpful and nice. Now comes the issue. I finnaly had 30 credits so I went for the regular package. I wrote up my application form all while being helped by my good friend Microscopic^Earthling ( thanks again) and he also approved it so I thought I was good to go. I went to go make my domain, planetplorp.astahost.com, which also worked out fine. I waited 24 hours for it to activate and now I have the domain but can't do anything to it because I can't log onto cpanel. I have tried several times with both the password I made when I was making the domain (the one that's supposed to work) and my Xisto name and password just in case that worked. As it is, nothing works and I'm kind of upset after spending all this time to get it. Can anyone help? Please tell me you can, I really want my website to work . ThanksCartman
  11. Firefox is obviously the choice for anyone picking a browser. I mean it's the clear choice... It's so much faster then IE, better protected, and just all around easier to use. Since I switched over a long time ago, I haven't regreted anything. I can surf the web so much faster. And yeah the tabs are definitely really cool. I hate when IE sites get "piled up" as I like to call it. It's makes me angry since if you have more then like 5 windows open then you can't see what to change to without going down. I like firefox so much better. I also really like the features like the google bar and the news headlines. It is true that a lot of toolbars don't work but who cares? It's only because firefox WAS the new guy in town for a while. Watch when all these toolbars suddenly become made for firefox. As you can see, I love firefox . Keep up the good work guys .
  12. I guess they do . But is that an official date, just out of interest? I mean is that the day they released it or first had it functioning properly. I mean the software to make it must have taken a while so technically it can't really have a birthday.
  13. Sounds a little boring . Game and art desgin? That sounds cool, I have a friend who wants to do something like that. He's doing an accounting course right now but he doesn't like it and wants to change to that. Oh, I've been to the West Town mall , very cool.... Yeah, it's a cool place to be during the summer no doubt. Weather's nice and hot and football season starts.... .
  14. Good to have you here Tarun. It's a great community and everyone here is pretty cool. I think you'll enjoy it. And yeah, we really do have people from everyone but that's a good thing. Nice to meet you and welcome to Xisto, peaceCartman
  15. Wow the OC! HOW COOL!!!!Actually I don't even watch the show . California is one cool place, I used to live in San Francisco. I miss it there. I live in Knoxville as you know which is cool. Anyways, looks like you have a real good computer resume. Nice to have someone as qualified as yourself on the site . Oh and welcome to the site .Cartman
  16. Wow.... you've done a lot of work. It all looks really good. I have made a skin or too myself but you're better then me. Yours look really professional . Personally, I like the Area 51 skin but they're all cool. Again, good job and welcome to Xisto.peaceCartman
  17. I have enjoyed my experience with this site so far. Everything has been good. It's a great community. But back to the point , yeah I enjoy Knoxville. The college is cool and Knoxville itself is fun. Where do you go / live in California? I used to live in San Francisco. It's very nice there.... kind of miss it.
  18. I'm new myself but these forums really are pretty cool. Not only is the hosting good and FREE may I add but the community is very nice. Always interesting stuff to talk about around here. Anyways, it's very good to meet you man. Hope you enjoy the forums.PeaceCartman
  19. I tend to agree with lesmizzie. I mean $300 for a pair of shoes? What a stupid waste of money. Money wasted on shoes could be spent on cancer research and about a million other important things. Anyways, I really doubt they make you any faster. The chip and it's equipment would serve as a weight wouldn't it?
  20. I love my ipod. I have a 20mb one but now they have these really cool ones. They're U2 themed Ipods and I love that band. They're red and black (the bands colors) and has they're signatures escribed into the back. Very cool, I wish I had got my later on because I would have got one of those. Too bad....
  21. You tell him ASR But Nanobots definitely have a place in the future. And mean think of all the possibilites. I for one, hope they get those ones that clean up oil spills (see above post), we seem to be having the all the time . And when it comes to humans, the possibilites are endless. It could cure heart conditions, cancer, ANYTHING.
  22. if you have win XP SP2 and iTunes 4.7 you could have major issues (Iknow people that lost all their data from this bug)You'll need iTunes 4.7.1
  23. I don't have the game myself and I have never like dragonball z but the game is very addictive and fun to play. It really is a very good game whether you think the theme is stupid or not, you just have to respect the game for being a good game and dbz budokai falls into that category. So don't be so quick to judge.
  24. Nice to meet you man. I'm new myself. It's a great site, I've had a good experience so far. I hope you do some tutorials, the site always needs those. Anyways, good to meet you.peaceCartman
