Apparently, Microsoft is will release an early preview of new version Windows, Longhorn, to testers. Does anyone plans to be the Windows tester? has anyone downloaded it yet? I think there is going to be a lot of new stuff in Longhorn. I am sure that they will make many improvements to the things that we already have in XP and Microsoft is try their best to increase the security of this new version Windows. Hello,I am currently reinstall Windows 2000.Is there any software that can export all the user account (or some user account)and then import them back to the new system?Is the possible to keep the SID and password unchanged.If so, the file premission (in NTFS partition) will remain the same. i have a problem with my iPod...my iPod is formatted under Mac OS, and I am trying to access (read and write) files on my windows xp desktp. My windows xp desktp has MacDrive installed, so the HD in iPod can be read ...The problem is, is when I connect my iPod to the USB 2.0 ports on it (ALi chipset), and I can view some of the files, but after around 10 seconds, the iPod disconnects itselfHowever, if I connect it to the USB 1.1 port(onboard VIA chipset), it works fine, and does not disconnect at all.But the speed is just extremely slow ...How can this problem be fixed?

I installed winxp and Fedora core 4 in a same machine as well. Windwos XP with SP2 is installed and run well. My system specifications: Intel CPU P4 2.4GHz 1GB DDR RAM 3 Hard Drives @ 80MB 2 CDROM Devices LG 17" Monitor PS/2 Mouse and Keyboard SBLive with 5.1 Speakers Steps to install FC4: 1. download the iso file：FC4-i386-DVD.iso from fedore website http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and save it to a fat32 or ext3 disk volum. I don't think it is a good idea to save it on a NTFS disk. 2. From those screenshots, RSS has been supported by Internet Explorer 7 clearly. The user interface also has been changed quite alots. I don't know if you guys see this or not. But i will give you the link which you can find the first pics and information about PES5 In my opinion, there are not a lot of notable differences. The graphics sure are better but not this much. Also player and ball models looks slighltly better. must have one of those Super machines to run the game I just wish the new PES5/WE9 had a career mode with a little more realism. I like Master League a lot, but for some reason, playing against teams from other countries in the league just doesn't have the same intensity. These two products are for different category of users.I don't think this is a good idea to compare these two products.In my opinion, there is no better or best, but more / the most situable.In this case, I voted for Fedora core 3 as I use it as desktop.If you are going to do some development, i recommand Red Hat Linux.It is more stable than Fedore core 3.

My machine is Pentium 4 2.8C, plus a Ggigabyte 865g mother board.Debian sarge is installed in this PC. Lilo is used as the boot loader.This system does runs fine.I just bought a Promise fasttrak s150 tx2+ PCI card and two 160g Hitachi DeskStar 7k250. This two new Hard Disks are for backing up the data.After the hardwares are installed, I get into the raid card's bios and created a raid 1.Then reboot system.Lilo menu is shown. after press enter, system is held at "bios check".If the two new hitachi hard disk is not attched, Debian can run just fine.What does cause this problem?? Llilo? or bios?The problem still exist after I disabled the IDE in mother.Thank you.
