  1. nobody knows. but i do know why one would make a topic of this hehe. especially when having less than 10 posts and needing 10 to get hosting
  2. i think you'll have to pay then. ask opaq about that. i'm not an admin so i don't know. but i'm sure something can be arranged.but then again, if you really need more space, maybe you should consider paid hosting...
  3. i meant that the xbox is powerfull, graphics are good, but the package, the thing standing underneath your tv is just ugly. the green black thing... iew!
  4. hehe. i understand. it's just that i'm getting sick of all those people that are spamming the forum with copy pastes and one sentence posts or stupid questions/suggestions, just to get hosting asap.
  5. alternative rock is rock that doesn't apear on the television. that rules evanescense out.i'm into dillinger escape plan, poison the well, converge, cave in, jimmy eat world, saves that day, old man gloom, isis,...most of the bands i like are pretty alternative.but then again, i also like outkast, rammstein, pj harvey,...
  6. there is one limit: 150mb hehe. and 2gig bandwith off course.
  7. too bad the xbox is sooo frikking ugly hehe.
  8. well, i don't have a floppy drive on my laptop, but i do have a 256mb usb stick.i was wondering if it's possible to emulate a floppy drive on it. not only in windows! it should be available at bootup so i can boot from this virtual floppy drive...all help apreciated!!!tnx!
  9. hey mci'v got a situation with my laptop:i got linux installed on one partition & windows xp installed on the other. not that long ago, i decided to install xp from scratch and slipstream sp2.alas, bye bye boot menu, as was to be expected off course.problem is: i don't have a linux bootdisk and even if i had, i don't have a floppy drive in my laptop, so it'd be useless.any idea how i'd get my boot menu back or just get into linux? tnx in advance
  10. windows viewer for default, irfanview for modifications indeedand for linux, i don't remember the name. quickshow or something like that. most of the linux viewers don't have a 'previous' & 'next" function, but the one i use does... which is great hehe
  11. i use Xisto combined with my own image gallery script which allows me to upload pictures from anywhere, add comments, remove pictures, add folders, ...i'm so 1337
  12. you know, all i have to do to know why they are doing it is watch their post-count. the guy has 10 posts, which means he was trying hard to get a starter pack... too hard.
  13. original source: http://www.speedguide.net/articles/windows-2kxp-registry-tweaks-157 i'd advise most users to do this: download section can be found here: http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php speedup only works for internet explorer, other browsers don't use those registry variables. but then again, firefox is already optimized for broadband internet all creds to speedguide
  14. actually, there's a player called vlc, common used in the mac environment, that plays your video's right out of their bin file without extracting your bins. just open the bin file with vlc and it'll work great.
  15. just guessing this is a copy past from appzpla.net or one of the likes...
  16. well, google uses some kind of spiders to run through your website. so if there's a link to the pdf in your site, it should be in google when you register your site...
  17. well well:1. linux does support 64bit processors, so they aren't useless.2. i have an am 2500+ and hl2 runs very smoothly with good graphs. it's all in your videocard kiddo. half life doesn't require all that much power. besides, in this other topic you said half life does only require half as much power as doom3. i'm wondering what you need to play d3 in your opinion...3. overclockers have always preferred amd because it's easier to overclock.amd rocks but you just don't want to understand that.
  18. hm, i guess you couldn't play doom at hires? hehe.to repeat what has been said: the d3 engine is great, but we'll have to wait for other games to come out before we'll see it's full capacity. doom3 was too dark, but the engine is great.
  19. nah, it's just some registry hacking. it's pretty safe to do so. still, i'd advise you to copy your explorer.exe file before you do so. and don't just go change everything you find
  20. i was inpolite because he had done 10 topics like this one. it was pretty obvious he was trying to get hosting and didn' care about a french section or whatever.

    MS-SQL

and you're also wrongsql: the language which most databasesystems use. you can write sql-queries that will look like this: select phonenumber from users where name="andipa"mysql, postgresql, mssql are three different database systems, that all use sql. so you can send the same 'query' to the 3 databasesystems, they will all understand it.mysql is most used because it's free and most free servers use it. it's really fast toopostgres is a little more powerfull, however, mysql is catching up.mssql is microsoft sql server. it's good but expensive. you need licenses and stuff.but to answer the question of this topic: mssql = microsoft sql server, a database system.
  22. ok, a short sum up on some of the question.saving as a jpeg: he tried but forgot the filename imagejpeg ( $img, test.jpg , 78);that'll do the trick2. gd is installed on Xisto. no problem. you can use it as you wish3. installing gd on your own pc. i guess you are using a windows machine as you mentioned dll. well, you have the dll, it's packed with php. what you need to do is find the lines that say which extensions to use.unquote the extension that says gd.dll or gd2.dll(you can do this by removing the ; in front of the line)restart your iis or apache server.done!
