  1. hey, it's not the link i posted you have to put on your site, it's the one that can be found on that site: http://www1116072772523.bienal.com.br/ that's the one that's attached to their little logo you have to put on your site you'll see a page filled with email-addresses, and some links too (they seem like the titles, but they are links: guestbook, forum, comments. those leed you to simular pages filled with mail-addresses and again... some links to simular pages, which leed to other pages, etc... and the link to the forum: they just kinda thank you because you link them. it's just the referring page. if you put the link on another page, you'll get that link instead, it's nothing special. cheers i'm pretty sure it works, unless those companies already have filters on those domains, which is quite probable
  2. they already exist for a while, it's nothing new. they just aren't really on the market yet. the only difference is that it uses a blue laser instead of a red one. it's pretty easy to combine the two lasers, so most players will play the old dvd's too.the reason why they can store more is because of the lower frequency of blue light.
  3. check this link: http://english-29240131623.spampoison.com/ the idea is the folowing: when a spiderrobot (a program used by spam-companies to search websites for emailaddresses. you might have noticed it once before: if you put your email address on a website, you'll get a lot more spam after a while, unless you masked it, like myname at domain dot com, but even those get detected sometimes) enters your site, this should be the first link it sees. you can make it invisible for the visitors of your site by putting nothing in between the <a ...> and </a>, the spiderrobot will still see it. so the robot follows the link and gets stuck into this site, in an infinite loop. meanwhile, the site keeps feeding it emailaddresses of spamcompanies. so in the end, the spamcompanies keep sending spam to eachother, or they end up with huge lists with useless email addresses. i'm pretty sure they'll find something, but meanwhile, it's worth trying. god i hate spam
  4. i'd like a recording option on the ipod. that really lacks. if possible, not just a line-in, but a mic-in.i don't know of any hdplayer that has this. most require microphones with batteries
  5. opaque? can you check this out please? or just give me a clear yes or no that would be great, just so i know where i'm at.tnx!
  6. damn, now i think about it, there is some stuff i'd like to get back. i pm'ed you but i didn't get any response yet. could you look into it? i just need to get some files back, i'll ask for hosting again afterwards. it's just that i'm affraid that, if i request hosting with the same username, my files will be permanently overwritten, if they haven't been overwritten already :(tnx, marijn
  7. nono, it never went under 30 or something alike.can you check wether my account was deleted or not? it'd be a pitty that i wasn't given the possibility to backup and wasn't warned...
  8. hello helloi've been gone for a while and had some negative credits. i caught up and then had about 5 for a few days, but for about a week now i think, i've been at 10+ credits. still, i can't reach my website or cpanel. can't ping my website,...it's not my domain, i try marijnnn.astahost.com... so it's an Xisto thingy.please help! tnx in advance
  9. you might wanna try deleting all files in c:/documents & settings/all users/application data/mozillaapplication data is an invisible folder, so you might have to change the option to "show all files in "extra -> options in your explorer window.cheers.
  10. httrack is probably the best in his kindmind, you're copying the website by following the links. you'll never find hidden files. it's possible. but i wouldn't want to program it. i'm lazy
  11. just check out http://php.net/mysql_query or http://php.net/manual-lookup.php?pattern=mysql.mostāŒ©=en&scope=404quickref importand commands are mysql_connect() & mysql_query. you can find examples at the php.net site.
  12. are the pictures yours? or did you just take pictures off the net and edit them with photoshop/ paint shop pro/whatever. I have the impression they're internet pics (due to the quality). the editing is just easy, nothing special.I like the second picture, but i don't like what you've done with it. sorry
  13. i don't know if everybody knows this, but linux users can go for "mono". it's an ide for csharp development. there's a c# runtime too. most of the things are supported, except for forms, but that is coming up in the near future.vs.net... it's quite expensive (except when you can get it with a student license), but it's a good program. the entire .net platform is really good i think. big up for microsoft! (for once )
  14. ncruses is the only way.you could just do a clearscreen between every output, that's the easy way.
  15. dev/null, isn't that the trash can? just boot from your cd and type rescue. you might be able to fix it from there.as far as i remember, when you send something to /dev/null, it's just plain gone
  16. it was quite fast for me. you need a yahoo id, but that's ok. it's fast to make one, and if you never use the emailadres that comes with it, you don't have any further trouble afterwards. and you can use y!, their messenger, which is nice if you have gaim or another multi-protocol client and you want to be as available as possible.
  17. the mistakes are not too bad. i can understand what is said. just mention where you got the article.that way, everybody can judge for him/herself if he thinks the source is reliable.
  18. no contract? that's not very proffessional, now is it? :Pbe carefull with keyloggers. as you will understand, keyloggers need info about where they have to send the info to. which would be your emailaddress or your ip address or something alike. this also means that, if he takes his computer to a computerstore, they have proof that you tried to steal or already stole his password. just **** up his site. if he has a guestbook, enter silly stuff and publicity. subscribe his emailaddress in every mailing list on the earth. try if you can still access his database, he might have forgotten to change the password.or try sql injection. you know all the names of the tables, so it might just work.oh yeah: i never gave you this advice
  19. you could chmod your files by php tot 777 when you need them and then change em back to 775 or even less? :Pit's a lot of overhead though :s
  20. i have the same impression.it's ok to translate them, but please still mention the original article.it's not that i speak portuguese, but some others might.
  21. i just knew they were gonna come up with something like this. they'd loose a lot of customers if they wouldn't!longhorn is a tad more promising now.
  22. don't worry about your drive, it'll work!if you're really sure about completely switching to windows, do this:when asked about partition info, just say you want to do it yourself (advanced mode or something)then, delete all partitions.make one swap partition, about the same size of the amount of ram memory you have. if you have 512mb ram, make one of at least 512mb. then, the choice is yours. best idea would be to create 2 partitions:one ext3 filesystem partition, which has mountpoint "/" (that's where linux will be), and another one, that could be win95 fat32 (if you want to be able to easily access it from windows), or ext3(if you're sure you don't want to use windows anymore) for documents, movies,...i'd advise you to keep windows though.howto? first, setup windows. in the beginning of the installation, delete all current partitions and make one for your windows system. leave the rest of your drive like it is. install windows. then install linux. do the same as said above. only, don't delete the current partitions or you'll loose your fresh windows installation.the fat32 disk will alow you to access movies, music & documents from both os, which is nice!i still use xp for things like photoshop, some games, and some tools i got used to over the years.however, mandrake has a great software manager.once you installed it, go on the net and search info about urpmi mandrake. you'll learn how to add sources for software, updates,...then, in control panel, go for software and go for "install software"there you can search through the descriptionsfor instance, if you look for a mysql gui client, just type mysql and search. you'll find mysqlcc. press install, it'll be installed in a minute.you can manually update your start-menu (in prompt: udate-menus)or just wait after a reboot. this is just one example. there's a lot of software available like that (5000+ packages)the update thing is also cool. just choose what you want to update (everything is the easiest thing and press install. it'll take a while if you run it the first time, but afterwards, it's quite fast.really mandrake is soooo easy and still has the linux power. big recommendation, especially for beginners.! it became mandriva linux now!as for now, there's no free edition (maybe on some ftp servers, and bittorrent, but you'll have to search for that). free edition will be available on the offical site as from may 1st if all goes well.
  23. just check http://php.net/manual-lookup.php?pattern=datethereāŒ©=en&scope=404quickref are some user-examples there too.
