what's weird is that the folder isn't in the ~/.local/share/trash or ~/.local/share/trash/filesi trashed some other files and folders and when i browse to the above locations as administrator the VM folder doesn't seem to exist there although it's displayed on Trash when i viewed normally

certainly does would be nice to have a login prompt box though so won't have to reload whole page back to home after log in

wow... rolling blackouts... that's like where i'm from (or was living before i moved here to New Zealand), power cuts happens unexpectedly... although it doesn't happen often, most of the time customers or residence aren't notified before hand. seems like you need a UPS for your PC but it's amazing it's been lasting you this long - 5 years

it's a folder not being used by any process... was an old VM (on VirtualBox)... i copied it over to backup data partition prior installing Mint 11 but now decided i won't need it... so i sent it to Trash and emptied it, then lateron i came to Trash and the folder's still sitting there... weird!i'll try single user logon and see if that will fix it...

ASTAHOST is the best... welcome if you're not a bot, seems like there's alot of spamming going on at the moment... enjoy your stay

i think reducing flood control time frame will be ideal... it is there for 1) in case of double posting and 2) security purposes, so removing it would be a security risk... my suggestion Ahsaniqbal111: try reading a thread (tab) at a time, and decide on posting before moving to read the next tab... that might kill some waiting time

manuleka replied to Huntzoru's topic in Computer Gaming
i guess WoW really is a big as WOW well said xamire... it is alot of work and costs for Blizzard, but they have their intentions and policy set so we can only shoot out our opinions and attitudes -
i think you can only edit your post in certain a certain time frame from post creation time stamp... i usually see the edit option after i clicked add reply when page refreshed with added post then when i leave the page and come back to it a few minutes later the edit option isn't there anymore... is that how it should be??

i notice that everytime i'm on a different computer (usually when i'm away on an internet cafe) which i do quite often i always have to log in onto Asta Community, this means a new page always loads up... and sometimes unfortunately the connection isn't as quick as at home so i'm wondering how easy would it be for you guys to implement a login pop-up box so it wouldn't have to load a whole new page just to log injust an idea because i've come across alot of forums and sites that only requires a pop-up prompt box

How To Play World Of Warcraft For Free! 100% legal
manuleka replied to Huntzoru's topic in Computer Gaming
it's dumb, i mean if everyone get's their own copy of WOW... why can't someone setup a server for free use be made available? blizzard's EULA for WOW is really stupid and selfish... maybe if they were offering the game copies for FREE and make their money through Online Service would be fair... but they are really making big time bucks on WOW, their most successful product so far -
I deleted a VM folder (which has contents in it) and are all in Trash, but when i try empting it, System wouldn't let me. I get the following Errors: Error while deletingThere was an Error while deleting VirtualBox VMsDetail:Failed to delete the item from the trash i have tried running Nautilus as root but i can't get to Trash help please...

What Is The Best Size To Make A Background In Photoshop?
manuleka replied to lonebyrd's topic in Websites and Web Designing
unless you don't mind your background showing only part of it on smaller screens and big blank space on wide large screens it's best to have a few background sizes and let a script do the prior-check for screen size for youfor example:so if this was me i'd be looking at a script to check the Browser platform, and then that script will call either jscript/javascript/vbscript etc.. (depending on Browser support) to check for screen size and call out the background -
maybe your above logo with more music feeling to it... maybe some musical notes/icons floating about... or it would be awesome if you create a flash logo if possible how about an idea for your Title/HeadingUnited in MusicMusic in UnityMusic Together

Broadband Modem Sharing Accessing Internet from 2 computers
manuleka replied to Nik1405241546's topic in Computer Networks
unless it's a router modem, where you can set the second as a router for your pc in the back barn, i don't think you can run two modems simultaneously of a single broadband account unless your ISP facilitates such service -
for a designer, depending on how sophisticated and complex the work need done, both tools are great in their own respect. although if one needs to do very complex work Photoshop would be the way to go, but Gimp can take you on alot of work as well...free doesn't mean it's not as good, some designers use Gimp because of price FREE one can do alot with Gimp, for webdesigning i use Gimp

looks like a major revamp on the software if SMF 2 was announced in 2005... 6 years wow! they do have a few Release Candidates of SMF 2.0 though, but seems like a legal issues with licenses are the main obstacle for the delay on SMF 2 http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
