Firefox's built in popup control works well for me. Terminates the popup before you view it. I've never heard of maxthon but the google toolbar works well already. I heard the SP2 ie was doing a good job of blocking popups, is this true?

Shells for Windows?Yeah, I guess I am getting pretty tired of that old start menu in the corner. I want something more customizable and clean. That blackbox shell on Windows seems promising. I used bb with linux since my comp was too old to handle kde or gnome.

My favorite virus scanners are AVG Free Edition and Panda Active Scan(which you don't have to download anything). For AVG, you just need to put in your email and it'll send you a code so when you install AVG you can continue.

I love this game.I'm gonna start playing it on a private server since I'm not too keen on monthly fees. I played this game during the beta and I was a human. My idea of fun is very malicious to some people. Here goes:I'd be like lvl 8 and hide in the bushes with my bow near the town where the newbies hunt the wolbes and such. What do you mean php template? You mean a dynamic one where users can interact with shoutboxes and forums and logins and such? In that case, you basically get a html or css template and start adding the dynamic code. Or you could try something called CMS's. Mambo is my favorite.

I love fish. I got into them around 3 years ago when I recieved my first 10 gallon tank. There was much error as I first started out, you know, what with the chlorine and stuff. I just tossed the fish in and expected them to live. Didn't know all about that p.h., temp, all that stuff. Did lots and lots of research on the comp after that situation. I love clown loaches, I'm gonna get a hude tank and put 10 of them in an aquarium when I can afford it. Right now, in the 30 gallon tank, I got an oscar cichlid. You have to be careful with those, when you feed it, it'll jump really far up and take the food out of your hands. I was scared the first time that happend.

I played this game when it was in beta a few months ago(the end of summer around). I love this game. It's great. I forgot what race it was. But I would build up and mass these huge robots and they'd stab units and throw them across the terrain. I think I'm gonna do dl this game again. It was really fun. Great 3D graphics for a RTS.

Many MMORPG's that are pay, have private servers. You could look up an mmorpg you like and find a private server. Well, I "semi-know" the language. I never really tried a tutorial. I get scripts at hotscripts and dive into the code and change things around like adding options so I know my users email. Make them point to my databases if i want to know a user's email or something.

php stands for hypertext preprocessor. You know how you signed up for this board, that's a combination of php and mysql. You know how you created this topic? php and mysql. MySQL is a database which php sends stuff too basically.

Is there an unlimited bandwidth? or can only one person dl the file. I tried this before. You get a yousendit link after you upload it and it emails to the person. But, can like a 100 people who have the link dl it?

.tk is not DNS so your site won't be youname.tk/website.html, it'll redirect to yourname.astahost.com/website.html.If you choose a DNS capable one, it'll be like yourname.uni.cc/website.html without redirecting. With .tk you don't really have to set it up. For .tk you just type in the website you want the page to redirect to.

What are you going to use it for? Is it going to be a community or a blog or what? I'd have to agree with the above user. If you just need something to publish information, like a blog, you don't need all that. If you need a CMS, go for Mambo.

I'm using an open source ftp client named Firezilla. Most ftp programs work for me. I just like how everything is laid out on this particular ftp client.

phpbb isn't really that hard to install. You basically upload the files and set the folder/file permissions. But if you don't want to do it that way... I think Fantastico has it. There are things such as "disposable emails" you can use. What they do is generate an email address for you to use for things you sign up for you think might carry spam. They get deleted after a time or after a number of messages have reached the address.An example is spamgourmet.

I use Firezilla, an open source ftp client(as mentioned above), to upload files onto my server. It's just more functional than the cpanel file manager. With the cpanel file manager try installing a forum and see how hard that is. Is there anyway to change file permissions with cpanel? Cpanel might be useful for uploading a few files at a time.

Do you know how to use the key? Once you press the key you have to paste it somewhere. Paint, Photoshop, etc. If you know how to use it and it recently just started to do this, there's some programs that can capture screenshots. uni.cc is yourname.uni.cc, not much choices. Or do you mean something different? Anything with DNS support is compatible with Xisto. DNS makes it so it's lala.uni.cc/index.html, while a redirect service makes it so lala.tk goes to lala.astahost.com/index.html. You could try http://www.noip.com/ It's meant mostly for webserved hosted on someone's computer, but I'm sure it'll work.
