Solanky, You are right. There is no doubt that Firefox is the best browser. However, due to the monopoly of Windows and IE being bundled with it, IE will monopolize for the next decade at least. This is in spite of all it's known risks! Firefox cannot reach more than 25% share of the browsers in the best of our dreams. I am really sad about that.

Yes. There are text ad providers. Contrary to what you wrote here, google does provide text-only ads. Neatest of all! Adhearus is another.
