  1. I tried doing this before thinking that it is that easy and boy I was in for a surprise, I just do not have the time to study those things but it will really a big plus if I know how to do that. So what did I do, here posting at Xisto, the best and easiest way to get a host, lol.Goodluck on your project mate.
  2. I tried Mandrake, Fedora Core and the last is Ubuntu. I find them not not so user friendly much more if you are fairly new to this OS. If I have much more time I think I will get back on this and try to study more but right now I will stick with my XP SP2
  3. you can also try to use Spybot's Search and Destroy this is a freeware that I have using for quite some time, I find it pretty powerful and most find those nasty spywares on my computer. Give it a try and see if you'll like it.
  4. we really cannot tell for sure how will this OS fare in te market for it is not yet offcially released. Of course it will have problems that's why it is still in BETA phase. Best way to react would be when it is formally made available by MS.
  5. I have used WS FTP in the fast and been happy with it, now I tried filezilla and this one seems good too only problem now is that I am behind a proxy hence I cannot connect.
  6. with the introduction of the new 3G technology we can expect more and more multimedia applications ot be integrated on mobile phones and this freeview is certainly possible. Whoever thought that this will happen to a simple phone? I still remember those big analog cellphones tucked into someone's belt, lol

Yes I also sometimes use tmpgenc software, pretty nice program not that so user friendly though but using google should help you, there's a lot of tutorials out there. If you really prefer user friendliness then you can use WINAVI, fast, easy but the only problem is it is not free.
  8. Just installed this one on a test PC and it went fine, I guess Yahoo is now trying to catch up Skype on their voice features.I mainly use MSN Messenger too and sometimes Yahoo but at work they have blocked yahoo anymore hence I cannot use it.
  9. my first computer is actually stolen so I cannot share here the exact specification but it has an AMD Morgan 1.1GHz, 256MB Memory, onboard VGA, 17" CRT monitor, a cd writer, DVD drive, CDROM, 20GB HDD and Windows 98 SE.Up to this day I think the one who stole it is still using my machine.
  10. well there's really a lot of application I use my computer, they are,1. Browsing2. Work3. Video Editing4. Photo Editing5. Audio Players6. Movie Players7. Communications (VOIP, Emails, Chats, Forums)8. Work9. Website makingthere's still a lot
  11. Chipset fan or heatsink usually does not need to have a special cooler, the bundled heatsink most of the will be sufficient. Just wondering, how were you able to measure the Chipset temperature? Is it through some utility? Could you care sharing it, thanks.
  12. I am not really a fan of ready made systems like Mac/Dell?IBM and I always build my own hence this news will not affect me that much. I am more inclined though on one post given about the Mac Operating System, given a chance I'd love to try this one just to know what really is the difference between Mac and MS products
  13. thats a nice one to hear and I just hope AMD will continue to work on the improvement of their mobile processors, more choices is better for us end users. Money wise AMD is really on the lead which is actually one of their drawing power.
  14. when it comes to Laptop/Notebook systems I would not got away with Intel base units. AMD really need to improve their processors on this product line, so for now if I were you I would stick with your centrino or better yet upgrade with Intel base too.
  15. your system is pretty sweet on my standard and same with Erwin I would not upgrade it all for now. Changing the AGP would be the best option here, I am not so sure about the issues on your memory, could you provide more info on why you cannot overclock with it?As for the CPU heatsink-fan, do you feel that the system or CPU really cannot cope up with the current one you have? Are you experiencing some instability problems? If not then I would also advice not to go into water cooling yet, this is of course if the present thermal solution can still hold.
  16. There are number of ways in overclocking your processor, one is through hardware manipulation (closing L1 bridges, jumper settings on your board, etc..) and the other is through software (BIOS setup adjustments, third party overclocking utility and some manufacturer bundled program). Just like what most posters have mentioned, this process is a bit risky ( and I would not recommend it too) much more if you are new to this thing, but this can be done and once you have an overclocked system you might feel better for you have accomplished something out of the ordinary, (aint it cool that you are running your system higher than what you would normally have but there's consequences and one of them is this mightl make your system bad and non usable). Below is a site made specifically for overclocking, you can read some tips before performing your overclocking process and as always it is doing at your own risk. Overclockers Good luck!
  17. I'm not sure about you mate but me I am certainly not one.....yet LOL Humanoid
  18. I am not actually a blogger person and honestly have not tried any of them, some of my friends says that myspace is cool so I guess if I have some extra time I will check it out, I am also thinking of putting a blog space from my site, well I'll see.
  19. just like most of the posters here, I hate to browse sites that contains pop ups, javascripts, and of course who like viruses. Additionally as I have mentioned on other related topic, I am pretty much annoyed by those background musics? I mean c'mmon not everybody that browse internet do have the same taste of music, of course if the site is about music then that's understandable but if it's your personal site I would really not recommend putting one.
  20. thanks for that, will certainly try this one and sign up, people really do have lots of ideas....
  21. same here, spiders are not that a big deal for me when we talk about on what to fear of, put a spider and a snake in there and I would be too much scared of a snake, maybe I think this is because I lack more on knowledge on what kind of spider is really poisonous. In our country part of our childhood was to catch a spiders and let them fight, just like a boxing match, lol those were the days.
  22. Cerebral dude.. I like how you reply to the posts in here, there's really a lot of meat into it just like this reply you gave, keep it up.
  23. another option for display products manufacturers, I really love seeing these kind of information. I just hope they can maximize and fully utilize the potentials of these LEDs and at the same time give it to end users without so much price to pay with. Thanks for sharing this one, as other have mentioned this seems to be being applied already, I have just encountered this now...from you bonniecool
  24. now they are starting to mount chips into humans, though I don't disagree on this for it will certainly help those persons in need of such thing as this, I am afraid time will come everyone will have a chip on their body that will turn us all into a humanoid
