Hey Kevlar, it's not very surprising how many people on here seem to be so shy, yet so incredably brite and computer savvy. You say that when she first showed up, you got to know her pretty well. There must have been something there that interested her in the first place. Her status may have changed since then, but she's still the same girl, hopefully. If she gave you the time of day then, is it so hard to believe that she wouldn't now? Try the friendship route, and see if there could be more, @ least you'll find out if she's interested in someone else first. But more importantly, she'll get to know you and possibly see something she likes. Good luck man.

Friends between the sexes is always hard. Your best friend being "naive" is a typical guy reaction, if he doesn' t have to deal w/ the problem, why speak up? I wouldn't stop hangin' w/ the altogether if I were you. If you were really a good friend to this guy, you'll outlast the girl. You should just slowly spend less time w/ him, give him space to get to know this other gal alone. Maybe he'll start to see her faults too, it's harder to see an indivdual when there's always others around. If he really is a good friend he'll notice your absence, then you can tell him why. He'll know that you weren't trying to hurt him, or his "relationship", and respect you for giving him space. Hope this helps.

Girls never wait long to share that kind of info. Your best bet is to get the nerve up to start @ least one real conversation w/ her. If she sticks around, she's interested, if she blows you off, then you know she doesn't like you and acts like that cos she thinks you're weird.Trial and error, the only real way to learn for yourself. You said it yourself Jesse, some people are just like that. I take it this was your first time meeting this guy? It' sounds like you're a sweet gal, and he probably figured you 'd be an easy score. Unfortunatley when he saw you, he either wasn't impressed, or thougth maybe he would have to work too hard. My suggestion, look for someone who you know is sincere, and doesn't just sound like that online, or on the phone. You'll learn the difference and meet someone who is not so shallow.

There are other reasons they do what they do. Most of these people are ecentrics, they believe they are doing it for "Holy" reasons. In a lot of cases they martyr themselves, to encourage younger generations to join the "Jihad". That is there way of recruiting, we have branches of military that offer training and schooling, while they take poor broke children and promise them riches in the "after life".Sadly, most of these people will never stop, there will always be someone who misinterprets their holy laws, just like the Aeriens(?), and people with other bias' and belief's. For every one that is willing to take his own life, there is probably @ least one younger brother or cousin who will try and do the same. Everytime we retaliate and kill innocent civilians, we create more of the same. Until we can educate enough of these people and teach them to help themselves to raise themselves out of this level of poverty and discontent, I don't see them slowing down.But you guys are right, backing down and being afraid will only make matters worth. It shows them that we are "weaker and unworthy", which we are not, we just have more respect for our lives, and for others lives.

I own two Nissan's personaly. My '05 Altima is only a 4cylinder. It's been totally reliable and gets awesome mileage. The interior is huge, and the upgrades are awesome. If you like power and great mileage, look @ the V-6, it still gets like 30 on the high way. You can upgrade to built in xm-radio, satellite navigation and custome rims for under 30k. I enjooyed the car so much, I bought myself a Pathfinder for my second car, wish I would have gotton the 4-door Titan though. Good luck finding something that works and looks good.

Big fan of both shows, but the original has gotton kind of lame as of late. I never thought I would see Louis Gosset Jr. in a roll that I didn't like, now I can. Atlantis is still moving in a good direction tho. I think that would make a way better game, just cos of the advanced weapons and vehicles in the series.

We have a whopping 2. I have an old 600mhz, that I've owned for 5 yrs. I bought my wife a newer one for Christmas. It was 1.6 gig, and 17" flat panel to go w/ it. I'll be upgrading mine to a laptop next year, and my computer will become the kids full time.
