I personally use Lookout Mobile Security as well. I mainly use if for the backup and tracking options. The biggest thing to remember is to never install apps from outside the market and to only install from trusted developers. Read the reviews of the apps and if necessary report the app to google.

That can be the case, but that is not always true. I know a lot of "unlimited" bandwidth providers that decrease the speed of your site. Which when added to a slow internet connection can drive you crazy. Also most of the time they do not own their own servers and you have to carefully read the terms and conditions for limits to your site. I had an account with BlueHost.com hosting a forum/social network using elgg on their "unlimited bandwidth" I kept getting suspended because my usage was high and they would audit to check to make sure I was going something illegal. Usually they would have my site for about three days. The site was very popular but after the fourth suspension I moved over the another provider and I have been much happier.

So we have all heard of Pandora, iHeartRadio and Last.fm will I wanted to share a new site to me that I actually like better. I am not saying that the actual service is better, but the there is far less advertisement on Jango compared to others. I use it in the car through the cars bluetooth link almost every day.The greatest feature about Jango is if you link your Facebook account they only play one video ad per day. At this time I am unsure as to how many skips you get. I like the independent artist that are played and you vote to decide if the they get to keep playing them.Android and iPhone apps are available for those who want to listen away from their computer. Visit Jango.com to review them your self.

I use Avast for my anti-virus and internet security. I find it easy to use and the price at the time was great. I think I got three years of the premium for 20 bucks.

Windows 7 Tips To Fast Operation

You could always wipe and move to linux. -
Well at least do a clean sweep. A lot of post have links that are no longer working. Reviews of sites that have been shut down. Someone out there must agree with this to some level.

Has the operators of the Xisto and Xisto considered archiving the forum threads on their sites like archive.astahost.com and restarting the forums. Most of the post make me feel like I am walking through a ghost town. I think refreshing the site would help maybe to bring in some fresh blood. Not that I am trying to tell anyone what to do.

I have always hated the unlimited bandwidth on most free hosting providers. I would rather have limits than poor site speed.

The biggest user complaints I am hearing is the lack of physical buttons and the motion to get to the home screen you have to do.

I would like to review an called Kik today. Put out by a company called Kik Interactive Inc, out of Canada. Kik is a messaging app simular to the old school BlackBerry Messenger. It allows you to know that the message was delivered by showing a "D" and when the message is read it shows an "R". Like messengers online you can view when the person is typing so you will not interrupt. The multi-platform give you the options to talk to android , ios, nokia, blackberry, and windows users. They are working on integrating apps into the kik messenger. Its seems like a beta feature and there is not a lot to choose from at this time. I have personally been using this app with coworkers and friends and think it is amazing. We can group message to let every know about a party, meeting, and were we are going for lunch. Give it a try by directing your phone to kik.com

Do people still use ads for hosting services like biz.ly. I personally would rather pay out of pocket or put in the effort to use a post to host service like KnowlegeSutra. I mean the hosting panels for most of those companies are primitive and extremely limited. I personally do not use a webhosting company with out cPanel. I find the whether your a novice or a expert cPanel has what you are looking for. Feedback is welcome.

Does anyone know when uni.cc closed it doors? I remember back in the Xisto days a lot of users on here used them for their domain. The service was free and easy to get. I know their is still dot.tk and co.nr available but I was really surprised to seem them shut down completely. Of course now with Xisto and Xisto you can get a free top level domain. Does anyone else know of any other free domain / subdomain services ? If so please share.

Yeah I am having the same problem. Which I hope that the issue does not effect my hosting account. But the Xisto - Support has helped with issue in the past. So I think as long as you let them know they will keep your account from getting suspended.

It is free sheepdog pixlr.com/editor brings you right to it. You can signup, but it is not required.

LOL, Thanks for checking in. Quick question on the myCENTS if anyone knows. How long does it take for a post to go towards your mycents?

Some download scripts will do this for you. I know if you use Joomla you can more than likely find a Joomla Extension.

Can you give a little more detail as to what you are wanting to do. I mean how many downloads are you expecting, How many songs are you wanting to host. And do you want to charge.I personally would check with your hosting provider first to make sure that audio storage and distribution does not violate their terms and conditions. Most hosting providers especially "unlimited" host do not allow this. Also do not do anything illegal and get yourself in trouble. Music labels are not giving empty threats anymore

Crunchbang - Light, Elegant And Slick

It looks very easy to use. Thanks for sharing. I will have to install and do a review on it. -
Where did the Xisto moderators go? Most of the moderators listed for this site have not made a single post in 2013. Not all but most. I would say that it is time the owner/admin elect some new moderators for the site. I would have to see the forums start to go crazy and people getting hosting and other services for free with no effort put in.

Are the forums on life support?Did social networking kill Xisto? We no longer have to search the web and post in forums for answers. Simply post on Facebook and someone somewhere will know the answer. I hope that the forums start to grow again and the forums are saved. I have invited a few tech friends and hope they join. I just wish myCENTS would update more often.

I have to agree that it all boils down to what the user wants. I think IOS is "easier" for right now as an hence you see more older iPhone users than your do older android users. My 87 year old grandmother uses iPhone and loves it along with my technology challenged mother. I personally feel that android was released to early and because of that it did leave a bad taste in some users mouths. I had a G1 when they first released with T-Mobile and really at the time could honestly say it was lacking, however since that time as stated by the above user the OS has changed and phones not have more memory and ram which allows for a better experience.

I use pixlr for image editing for my website and it works out well for most task.

I agree with you about the openness of the Android operating system. All in all they are both better than BlackBerry lol.

There has been a good time laps since that topic was started. I would like to know what your final decision was. I personally would of went with another Android device. The note is a little to large for me and I would rather have a tablet for that.
