If the service that your talking about is really true, then I am ready to help. We had tried that at Xisto, We asked members to PM us. But we had no idea, that we would suddenly recieve more than 30 PMs for such requests! LOL, that is why this decision has been taken. We are not strict with the ads thing, but it is appreciated if it is placed on as many pages as possible, especially the ones which recive high traffic as shown by their statistics data.

ok. this is the last time I am modifying the changes again.I had verified it before. The thing is Either you have run out of your bw or something.Otherwise, If you can login to your cpanel, everything is fine. Besides, did u know, cpanel and ftp have the same password.Also, when PASSWORD Modification is done, It is extremely important to change the password in the Cpanel.You can access the cpanel Xisto.com/cpanelCheck pm. for RESETTED PASSWORD. Also, it has been manually changed for you in your cpanel account and has been verfied for FTP access. Be careful aND DO NOT TRY RESETTING YOUR PASSWORD!Change the password. .

COOL DOWN! You had forgotten your password. I changed it and logged in. Everything went right. So the problem was from your password. We havent suspeneded any account till now and before we do it, you will get notice. Check PM for password.

May be you forgot something.The UsERName has to be in this format : anyusername@yourdomain.trap17.com and only then you will be able to connect ..

I really dont know about chinese sites. I have seen hundreds of hosts who simply ban them. Or they have in their TOS, No chinese sites please or some put it inderectly.. Sites must be only in English.What is wrong with it ... cAn anyone explain this fact .. or got a reasons for why this *BLEEP* thing is taking place at most of the hosts ?

I have put the Arcade Link, as well as the Shoutbox link. It was pretty screwed when I installed the new skin. Everything should be working fine now. The above flash banner on the top of the forums have been removed and there wont be any sounds. The sound was like a headache for members who contribute lot of time to the forums. The Flash banner has been replaced by a GIF file. This should enable the site to run smoothly on slow computers. The ad in between the posts was reduced to one. It was screwing up the layout. New ads ( google ) have been put up which is most likely to get disabled.. but still I am hoping for the best. and if it does not get disabled then It would be a great help for Xisto.comI dont think there is anything else on the forum that needs to be fixed. - Thanks.

Definately something wrong with the mysql code or the syntaxIt can also happen if the version is old.

All the settings like email, forwards, redirects, spam assasin, ftp, filemanager, subdomains, parked domains etc.. can be configured from http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I really do not have time these days and hence I am unable to contribute at my own forums .. besides I got around 8-10 sites and some sites which I partially manage. I hope all the members are well aware of the cpanel. It has the most userfriendly interface and I dont think anyone should have problems using it.

CooL! I guess a lot of members will be interested to join Daniel ... I was checking out the hosted sites of my members and came to realise that a many of those sites deal with games and stuff. few were personal sites and few sites were quite professional with cool design and coding. Our file manager also has the capability for extracting zip files online. Check our the filemanager in the cpanel and hunt for uploading stuff.. Upload a zip file .. select it and click extract. Easy as it is.

So long as your active and keep contributing to the forums on a regular basis, no one is going to take away your hosting account. Your hosting is permanent and final. We do not force anyone to pay or something. We are an advertising supported company.

The number of lines that you type makes no diffrence to us. What makes diffrence is the amount of information your contributing. This host is here to build a community. We assume that posts which are over 2-3 lines conribute information. Even if you type a single line but manage to contribute exremely useful information ( other than a link or something ) then we will count that post. We need information and content. We want to see your contribution and intrest at the forums. Thank you.

Hold on.. If your other server is windows then it is not CASE SENSITIVE.. I tested out everything and I am sure that there is a problem from yourside.Check the Filename PROPERLY. especially the case of the filename. This is the most biggest common mistake people do when working with unix servers.

posts are counted only at the contribute section which deal with some information and stuff. posts like lobby which are ther only for your personal entertainment and passtime are not counted.

The downtime that you have experienced was due to the unexpected heavy signups that we recieved. Everything is fine. Also, there were some upgrading issue that had to be solved. The kernal version was bugging too. We regret for the inconvinience.

JSP is an extrememly advanced thing that we support and no other free web host provides it. JSP hosting are also one of the most expensive hosting as they tend to consume a lot of server resources. We do support JSP, when you have all setup at your end, Send a Request and we will activate it for your domain. I am thinking of approving JSP facilites only to people with Top Level Domains... However, I havent decided anything
