Mozilla Problem

MOzilla browswer takes good amount of memory of Ram and graduly slow down when open multiple docs. Is there anyway to manage it or alternative browser that address this problem?

There is a browser called Opera that tries to be easy on the RAM and resources it uses. In my experience Opera starts-up and opens tabs faster.The Browser Can be downloaded: http://www.opera.com/

Mozilla and Opera do take some RAM. Even Safari takes some amount of RAM on windows machine. If we compare in terms of RAM then Google chrome uses resources wisely. Other than that there are plenty of browsers available which take less amount of memory.

 

Avant- Avant browser takes less memory and is fast at loading web pages. It is free and regularly updated. It also has download manager. For more alterative browser list, try this site. Also K-melon is lightweight version of Mozilla. It is also fast at downloading web pages and slick browser based on gecko engine of mozllla.

I personally just use the default browser that is given on the computer, though I suggest that if you want to test out your websites, you should do so on Internet Explorer, mostly because it is highly not compatible with your scripts and that there is often a "if" function that you have to put in just for different internet explorer versions like for "IE6" and "IE8"...Of course, if you just want to browse the web without any hassles, then I have to say that Mozilla Firefox is the best because it supports all the latest functions like "blink" in CSS and so forth (wow, I think I sound pro, though I vaguely know what I'm talking about right now), so maybe the extra RAM and diskspace that it takes is worth it?I'm currently using Safari though, and apart from the regular Xisto automatic log out, everything else works fine.I am, however, unable to tell you how the Avant browser and the K-melon browser that mahesh2k said works because I haven't exactly used it before, but you might find it to your liking. :PGood luck in finding the perfect browser!!!

I don't use Firefox anymore as my default for quite some time now, I am using Chromium (Iron browser) which is a clone of Google chrome just is protecting your privacy, it's very light and fast to use it, same as google chrome, so I ust made it my default browser and am opening links from chats, documents and etc. But for my main browsing experience I use Opera 10, it's fast ant stable, and does not have problems likefirefox, just I think it depends, you need to get used to it.Firefox is good because for some addons I use them when developing something new or debugging something old, Firebug, Web developer, even though I had a recent chat that Opera also has something like Firebug, just didn't have time to check it, as I been told it seems that IE8 also has it..

Dear friend I personally like opera. I am using opera for last many months and I am fully satisfied with its working. I like the speed dial facility of opera very much. Multiple tabs can be opened by you very easily. If due to some reason improper shut down occurs then the next time you start it, it will open all the previously opened pages.?

Safari is a bad browser to use, its very insecure (in fact it is blocked by paypal due to its terrible security)Anyway... How much RAM do you have?Have you done a quick virus scan?And how many addons, plugins and webpages do you have open/are you using when it eats your RAM?Firefox isnt terrible with RAM usage, its worse than chrome and opera but better than IE and it has a lot more features than chrome and opera so its acceptable to use more RAM but if its using a lot of RAM then you need to disable some addons and close some pages!
