iGuest 3 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 The next world superpowerThe Next World Super Power?yeah we as in the U.S may be in a recession going into a depression but we're goin to bounce back. Look at the great depression. we came out of that stronger than ever what makes people think that we wont this time. Yean yeah china has "the most people and is growing" but they will never never be as good as the U.S. for gods sake they're COMMUNIST! they just celebrated 60 stinkin years. Just because india and china have the most people doesnt mean that they will become a world superpower. Us will always be the superpower
iGuest 3 Report post Posted October 4, 2009 response to "china as super power"The Next World Super Power?Response, I do not necessarily believe that China could be the next super power. They could be, but they have their own internal and other problems. The USA is a great country and super power, and it can always be if the American people want to do it. The USA has only tapped perhaps 5 per cent of its potential, and we will have 500 million people by 2050.The problem the USA faces is the idiotic and cancerous American left. Their stupid policies like the virtual shutdown of the USA industrial infrastructure by the global warming crowd is a good example. The damage the left is doing to the USA is terrible, the global warming sham, the so called "Go Green" (communist)movement, socialism, bad business climate, communist tax system, bloated govt., multiculturalism garbage, etc etc etc.. If we as Americans wake up and stop the left we will remain great - and rich and powerful beyond imagining. If we continue down the path of the American left we will all be equally poor and miserable in this huge, blessed country called the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. -reply by ed x
iGuest 3 Report post Posted October 29, 2009 :-"The Next World Super Power?no **** about EU... You should kno that if Russia, India, China, Japan come together... You'll know which country is the next superpower... But neither of that will happen cause now people don;t wanna be under each other or don't want to help each other out... So I think... eInfiniti 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2009 My personal experience tells me that there won't be a second superpower other than the United States within the next 50 years or so, maybe even 100+ years. In that time frame, China could become a great power; India could become a great power; Russia could become a great power; May be Germany? But, I don't see any of them has a good chance to become a superpower like today's United States (in the above time frame). Having a superior economic, military, and political influence requires an adequate system, the whole system rather than the political system alone. China is not close to having that. I would guess India doesn't have that either. Both countries are growing quickly today mainly because of low-cost labor on top of social/political stability. As the economy grows, low-cost labor will gradually disappear! An adequate system, the whole system, is required at that point to continue the growth. It is very difficult to predict which country can do that successfully before things unfold...Smaller countries might also have a chance, but probably a smaller chance. iGuest 3 Report post Posted November 4, 2009 reflexions over the next super powersThe Next World Super Power? I firmly believe that the U.S. Will remain as a super power, but not the only one.Everybody has mentioned China and India as the next super powers along with theU.S. But those two nations will exercise more dominion in their respective geographical areas, causing them to a probable confrontation. As hard as it may sound the American people have to realize that their country its not the number one nation in the world and in the upcoming 50 years they will be down grated to a 3rd place behind china and India(that in the economic ground). Military speaking the U.S.Have a great gap of advantage over any nation in the world and will still do so for many decades to come; bottom line, they will be 5 spheres of influence in the world which are U.S.A., INDIA CHINA, E.U. RUSSIA (not in that specific order). One last word, throughout history two super powers could not co-exist which lead the to war (Athens-Sparta, Greece- Persia, Rome- Carthage, England- France, U.S.A.- Russia) War is on the horizon, and that is a fact that history has shown over and over again. iGuest 3 Report post Posted November 20, 2009 I believe that these countries will be placed up near the United States Of America by 2020. -People's Republic Of China:Rating 9/10(Their Military strength is enormous. They are researching, constructing and testing modern arms technology, including aircraft carriers,5th Gen fighter bombers,anti-satelite missiles and their excellent command economy has outsted the west. They have the worlds largest industrial system and export enough to supplement themselves. They are making friends and forging alliances as we speak, even warming relations with the US.But their Key allies are in Africa,South East Asia,South America and Russia. In terms of social they need to work more on equality, standard of living, access to technology and freedom of speech while maintaining tradition.) -Russian Federation:Rating 8.5/10(They are like a dormant volcano,if you care to describe it that way.Do not forget the soviet union,or the 22,000+ Nuclear weapons they posses. In a military sense they need to take control of their economy, they used to be the No.1 exporter of top-grade military hardware to the rest of the world, and they stick to time-tested designs,so they could again if they get their act together. They still have many friends and are on OK-terms with the United States. They definitely will emerge with China & India) -Republic Of India:Rating 7.9/10(Although still rampant with poverty, corruption and inequality, they have huge potential. They currently have a thriving arms industry to supplement an experienced large and well trained military.Although still reliant on foreign ideas and old equipment, they are progressing and moving forward. In terms of economy, there is a lot of domestic work to be done. They need to clampdown on poverty & hunger instituting economic reform and a better social welfare system.Would progress with Russia and China) -European Union:Rating 8.12/10(World's Largest Economy, partially socialist partially capitalist. Not "State-Like" enough yet,but they are working on it.Their needs to be a Unified military, which mainly Germany & France would head, but Germany is more advanced in terms of military technology.Their International Peace-Keeping force is not enough, they need a unified Military of the EU.Also all of Europe has to be included and Friendly relations with the Russian Federation are required for a long-lasting EU power.Economically not much is needed, apart from a more central system because there are so many different members.Would Come Up in the ranks by itself) These nations are not only being compared to the United States, but also their individual capabilities analyzed and critiqued.Main focuses are Military,Economic,Political,Social,Historical,Technological & Problematic Factors. These can be summed up,but not always accurate. They mostly can provide you with Generalizations, but these are all characteristics of any Modern or Future superpower. No point saying 50-100 years because we honesty cannot predict that time period. But 2020-2025 is more plausible to be pondering on at the moment. What we do need to know is that the US is not the most powerful nation on Earth, but is definitely on of the most powerful.Yes they have huge economic and political influence around the globe, but it's still limited by those very factors. They cannot wage a full-scale war with all their technologies for more than say 6-Months,even shorter if the loss rate is appauling. No nation can,so they go back to time tested methods. I Hope this has been informative, educational and entertaining to the mind. Makes you think doesn't it. Fixdeluxe1-reply by fixdeluxe1
iGuest 3 Report post Posted November 25, 2009 The Next World Super Power? The Next World Super Power?China and India will rival each other in terms of economy and military capability to some extent but neither have capacity to afford "American lifestyle" for her billion plus population stuck up in less area and with less resource. Don't forget North America is geographically safe place with ample human and natural resources (oild, water, uranium, etc. ) that can afford isolation. EU and India are multicultural experiments that will make and break up periodically. America's 30 million population is economically rich enough to compete with 2 billion "third world" humans. Americans have created a competitive society out of superior genetic pool from across the world and having "50 yrs ahead" technologies in her kitty. Right now America is under transformation only to befool the world after 50 yrs by emerging stronger than rest of the world.
iGuest 3 Report post Posted November 26, 2009 I am sure , india is going to become world super power by 2030 , related to his strength in political , military , economic , manpower( world's highest number of technically qualified people with an average of 25 to 35 ) , democracy is a main back bone of this nation to move forward in all aspects positively then there is huge development is still needed with the country itself so the total domestic market and development have plenty of opportunity to become a super power in the world , at the same time we can?t denied chine?s power in the world -reply by m.Raj
iGuest 3 Report post Posted November 28, 2009 who will become top super power in future, and richest country? The Next World Super Power?I think that india and china is developing now. iGuest 3 Report post Posted December 4, 2009 Europe in the 21st CenturyThe Next World Super Power? In my opinion, the 21st Century will belong to Europe. It is the cradle of modern civilization and it is the European way of doing things that will prevail in the 21st Century. Recently smaller but typically powerful countries have come to realise that by teaming up they are able to build up a certain level of clout on the world stage. And Europe was the first to discover this. A United Europe is by no means a new idea and more than 2000 years ago the Romans entertained the idea of creating such a Europe. As we can see the united states of america are slowly forming alliances with mexico and canada which will maybe one day allow for a single currency system , military etc. Infact I don't believe we should be asking who will be the superpower of the future as I think power will be more evenly distributed but we should be asking who will be left out? Which country will not join such a union and forfeit their rightful position on the international stage. One thing I would like to bring to the reader's attention before I finish is the question of " Diversification, Globalization and multiculturism" I am an English man living in China and I have to point out that although the Chinese can do certain things imparticularly well( the power of immitation or in other words "copying") there are many things that they can't do imparticularly well ( most things) and I am of the state of mind that in the future those countries that are able to embrace multiculturism and utilize globalisation for the benefit of technological advancement and economic purposes are going to be far better off.-reply by Chris
iGuest 3 Report post Posted December 4, 2009 who is the leader no mater super powerThe Next World Super Power? The term super power belongs to old soviet union mind set,now I am asking you who is the leader of this time period. Sure china and india have shown capabilitly not just ability to market what people want and they ready to offer you in right time right place in right price and right quality. If united stated want to think old scholl sure they are super power. New school is the fact.. Now let me ask an american labour who makes 10 dollar per hour( although it is hard to get a job with 10 dollar per hour) are you willing to pay 100 dollar a T shirt to show that america is super power then sure america is super power. Otherwise america is not super power. It is lie spread by politicians take the hit and take the fact thank you jay
iGuest 3 Report post Posted December 9, 2009 Anglo-AllianceThe Next World Super Power? The one true superpower in the world is the Anglo-Alliance. U.S, U.K, Australia, Canada, and NZ (well not really NZ). Together they dominate the world culturally, millitiarilly and politically. Btw I'm not white power or anything like that, this is just fact. China may be on the rise, but as wisely stated by myocean the majority of the nation is in poverty, and there is an enormous unequal distribution of wealth, same goes for India. Just my two cents. -reply by Johnny

iGuest 3 Report post Posted December 20, 2009 Europe with her leader Germany. The Next World Super Power? I think that this 100 years, will show the regeneration of Europe as the world's super power with her leader Germany. As we now Germany is the biggest and strongest economy in EU.Today Eu is one of the biggest economy.2 world wars happened in Europe and as we can see, today eu in some economic sectors is the leader. This means that eu has a big potential. The final step for being the biggest economy is that eu countries must act as one unit, something difficult but not impossible.Germany is the country that can guide this event.Germany is the second industrial power after USA and the third biggest economy after USA and JAPAN.USA has invest in Germany more then 100 billions of dollars. This is the biggest amount that any country has invest to an eu member. The same goes for Germany that has invest over 100 miliard of euros in Usa. This century will be the battle betwen EU,USA and Japan for the biggest economy.-reply by Dari
