Danieluchis 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2005 i got this msn space thing, isnt it the same? or myspace.com is a company appart from Microfost (MSN) i know that some bands use it, like a band here in mexico called 'Panda' but when i saw it i just thought that it was a MSN space that was customize (you know that today you have to pay for premium accounts to have more space, upload things speaking of MSN) so i didnt give it to much importance, when i first registered to get my MSN space account i think that saw or was redirected to a myspace.com site . . . AmandaB78 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2005 I love myspace. Mypsace is so convienient. I've found people on there that I haven't talked to for a long time. Not only that but its a good way for me to keep in touch with people I don't get to see very often and even family. Plus its a good way to express yourself in an easy format. Not everyone can create a webpage by html coding but this is an easy way for those people to make a page about themselves. Sometimes though (usually if your a girl) random people message you and say stupid things. Thats one thing that annoys me. Another problem I have with myspace is that sometimes the server goes down or they have general problems that take a bit to fix. I can understand that its overloaded with users now. BuffaloHelp 24 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 ARRRGH!!! I got suckered in and got myself MySpace. I hate it! I only got it to indulge my friend's curiosity. He wanted to meet few hotties around his area. So not to look as though he was a total loser, he made me sign up and added me to his buddy list. What a corn ball... I had to fake things and look interesting to boost his "friend circle." Oh god how slow that site is! So many restrictions! So many things going wrong and can't be displayed! Whoever owns the site is probably laughing because I'm sure the site is making money hand over a fist but for all other users I'm sure it must be very frustrating experience. And what's with pictures of professional escort like ladies? I guess that's the very reason my friend got into it. Do I dare the same connection as my friend is hoping for? HA HA!
CroSpartacus 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2005 I like Myspace. Since I got it I found people that I haven't talk to in years. I think it's great to find old friends. Also you can do whatever you want with your webpage, and the groups that site has are great. You can join a group that talks about topics that interest you and meet newer people. wariorpk 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2005 All the people at my school use Myspace (except me). The problem I am hearing all the time is that it is very, very hard to sign up for. I personally do not like Myspace because I saw my friend's blog and it did not compare with other services I have seen. The main reason it is any good is because it is free. Dooga 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2005 I just started using myspace today. In my opinion, it's not such a great service, because I can do everything on a hosted server that I do on myspace (other than making friends), and I can remove, add, or do anything with the ads, not to mention having root access to my account. But there are some good things... such as the ability to invite friends and all that jazz. Similar to MSN spaces.
iwuvcookies 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2005 Msypace is okay. I don't like it that much but I still use it. Lol. The problem with it to for me is the downtimes. Many times I try to login and check my comments or view picture comments or any comments at all I can't get in. Sometimes loading the pages takes friggin forever and that is annoying. A radio station also has the same problem as me and other users. Billy the Kidd on Kiss Fm has a blog at Myspace and he can't sometimes get in especially on Mondays. So he had a whole rant of beeps on the radio. lol. ITs just frustrating not being able to rely on the site to be able to login. I wonder why its so slow and always having problems?? Does anybody know???
wild20 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2005 So far I have had no problems with Myspace. Myspace provides free ways to link up with your friends to chat and stay in touch. The only thing wrong is the Intimate dating ads which are NOT family friendly. For me, you can only expect so much for free, unless it's trap, then it's pretty good But I am satisified mainly with it. I mean, with so many members you can't expect to have NO problems can you. But as far as I feel, about it, it is the best you can get without paying. Remember money will always seem to get you a step further, whether, it's Myspace, a hosting company, or something else in life. (Xisto is not included in "normal" hosting companies, it is exceptional)
Joshua 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2005 I love MySpace, aside from those dumb ads. I actually put in a suggestion to them that they might try a new system where a person can click a privacy option to not get those ads, but different ones that are more family-friendly. Also, it's a tad annoying that my younger brother can't sign up until he's 14 (he's almost 13). But I spend the majority of my online time on MySpace, Xanga isn't even comparable for finding friends. It's like having a personalized website up that lets you contact friends instantly and you can put music, calendar events, etc... on it. The bulletins and blogging stuff is sheer genius since you can let all your friends see stuff instantly through the bulletins on each person's home page. Now they've got the kudos system and most popular blogs, sorted by sections... The way they organize the profiles with all the different sections is awesome, along with letting you rate so much stuff and comment on so much. Now if they'd just get rid of those stupid ads... Jesse 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2005 i guess i like myspace because it gives me the freedom to express myself how i see fit and i can comment on others and feed off of others myspace accounts and it is for teens and such but at the same time when you're bored and have nothing to do it can be quite entertaining. who knows maybe someday there will be a whole day with no errors on myspace although latley there havent been as many i like that i can go to someones page and listen to music and what not thats cool. anywayz i got to run i got some stuff to do by everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!:-) ttylJesse

shigajet 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2005 I heard about myspace.com and how it seems to be one of the biggest communities on the web, but I don't particularly care for it. I went with a similar service (but without so many adverts), since I love to listen to music on my PC and it was a great way to see who else had similar musical tastes as me. dontmaimyourself 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2005 I guess I'm not the best qualified guy to comment on myspace, mainly (well only) becuase I haven't actually used the service (although I'm sure its great if thats your kind of thing), and I don't mean to offend anyone here but I'm gonna say it anyway I don't see the need for myspace, I mean I already have actual real friends I don't need to you out and find more, especially of the hello there I've never met you before and have now way of knowing if you're a phsycho murderer or not (though I'm pretty sure most of them aren't) and as I said I've never used the service myself and frankly find it quite pointless, but if you like that kind of thing I'm also fairly sure that the service at least doesn't suck. So I won't be using myspace but if you're looking for a good community to meet new people at least its (probably) the largest available, which can't be bad now can it. Ao)K-General 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2005 I have my space. Its decent but I don't use it a lot because I have no one on my little friend list thingy 'cept like 2 people. And they don't do the message things so I don't use it a lot. But it is decent. But the bad part is that you gotta be atleast 16 so I had to put in a fake age. Other than that it is pretty good.
