We have 1 stairs in my grandmothers house and then 2 of my grandfather and ours is 1 stairs.. total of 4 stairs all in all.. but in my grandmothers side was too old, I've heard that their house came from his grand grand old families who already passed away..

I have no staires. You know what that means, yes, I have never fell down from a buch of staires and broke my neck or anyother body part ^_^ Beside, what could be worse then coming home dead tired and realizing you'll have to climb a bunch of staires to reach your bed...

I live in an apartment, the only stairs that I have to go through are the ones leading from the ground floor of the building to my floor (the building is 2 floors, I live in the first), since there's no elevator (like I said, 2 story building, like 4 apartments (where one is merged to ours, used to belong to my grandfather, so we pretty much own the first floor, so you can say 3 apartments), no need for an elevator). The stairs are really big so there's no real danger of falling down.A friend of mine lives in a 4 story building, and I always take the elevator. When our friend Josef also comes, we have the habit that instead of taking the elevator to our way down, we run down the stairs. It's really dangerous, but it's really fun. Josef one time pushed me just before stepping on the first step of the staircase connecting floors 3 and 2 and I almost fell down, but I grabbed some weird thing sticking out of the wall, and I didn't fall. So, yeah.

hahaha this topic is funny i have to post in it :)My family is split between two cities right now, both houses have stairs in it, they both have a plateau in the middle, this house has 2 sets of 6 steps and i dont remember how many steps my other house has but this one feels shorter than the other stairs. This one is also louder, the steps are of bear wood and you can go under it. Both have a wine storage place, but my mom uses it to store her shoes lol :DI read somewhere that it's good feng shui practice to place a mirror in front of a staircase in the bottom floor, but i'm no specialist and there is no mirror in front of any these stairs. :)
