to me it looks like the graphics arent that good and the games cant do too much, also, the media viewing capabilities arent too impressive or easy to use. nintendo owns the world of hand-held gaming. stick to gameboy.

i think that sony wanted to make competition to nintendo and their nintendo ds, in my opinion nintendo is better developing portable consoles than any other company ... what can we expect from microsoft?? an portable device of games too ... i think they have to think the things twice before try to enter to the portable consoles market ...

I agree. In Canada there wasn't a big hype or anything for the PSP. I know that people actually went out and got a DS instead. I think it is in part to the price difference of $199.99 CDN for the Nintendo DS and $299.99 CDN for the Playstation Portable. I guess to do well with little children (what the DS wanted), you'll need alot of gimmicks. The PSP has a funny name though. A portable playstation, what next? Monkey bars in a can. Also, the Playstation Portable has really low battery life.

its only good because of the wifi and wireless updates, watching movies, listening to music, or watch porn on ur psp. the graphics and volume are great, but do we really need that? i mean...the gameplay should matter more then that...and sadly the gameplay isnt very fun.. plus there isnt much games for it now... i have twisted metal, world tour soccer, untold legends, metal gear acid and need for speed... i am boredo f it now.

I'm not sure I understand. You bought a game system, you took poor care of it, and bought two boring games for it. So, you're blaming that on the system?

In my personal opinion, I actually like the PSP. I don't see what is wrong with it. I own a PSP and a Nintendo DS, both have there features. I like the Nintendo DS as it has a touch screen so you can interact with the game really well, but I like the PSP for its wide screen display and it's graphics. The PSP has a web browser on it and uses WIFI which is really cool. When I went on holiday I used the WIFI internet browser to connect to the internet in the hotel, after learning how to say "What is your WIFI password?" in Spanish, it worked perfectly. With Grand Theft Auto on it and a number of other leading games, it is a must have for gamers in my opinion.

There are many good games for PSP, but not as much as DS.Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions and Monster Hunter Freedom 2 are excellent examples of GREAT new games for PSP, and even if I have good games for DS, the good PSP ones makes you play them even more.I am an RPG player... so I don't know much about other genres, but also Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops is a great choice. It would be good if they made a Devil May Cry for the PSP... but, dunno xD.PSP is action and DS is fun. Both are good.
