I work at Wal-Mart! I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would. And it was really handy at Christmas time, because I could shop for people right after work. Where else can you buy socks, toys, fishing equipment and groceries, then get your nails done, hair cut, and have a happy meal- all while you wait for your tires to get rotated? I know that a lot of people have trouble with new Wal-Mart opening in their communities, how it takes away from other businesses and all of that. But where I live (in the middle of Texas), there was nothing for miles around except for fields before this one opened up. Suddenly, all sorts of businesses opened around it. Restaurants, specialty stores... not to mention the fact that the store I work at employs over 300 people.

There are certain themes in my dreams that make me think that I am trying to work out different problems in my life. A lot of times I just think my imagination is letting things out, and that inspires me in my writing. But lately it's been kind of bad. when I haven't had a lot of sleep, I tend to have dreams that I am at work doing my job. Maybe it's because I have to do the same thing all of the time. I wish I could go back to having interesting dreams. Or that someone would pay me when I sleep. haha.

I know that the other topic about this was locked. I'll ask my question in this one instead of starting up something new. My websites been down this whole time, 404 error. the cpanel says I have a database but my disc space used is nothing. Same as everyone else. I'd like to know if there is a way that we can get our credits back for these two days or however long it takes. I know that might sound unreasonable or whiny, but since I haven't been able to make it to this board very often I paid to keep my site here.

You really have to listen to yourself instead of the guy who's trying to give you advice. You know inside of you the right things to do, the right ways to act around girls. You've been friends with girls before- it just looks like you need a little push to get past the friendship part. That will come with time. Just have patience and everything will work out.

You don't have a backup of the site? Why can't you buy the domain yourself? Once the domain expires it goes back out there for anyone to buy, right? (That happened with my sister. She had a great name and then a squatter came in and snatched it when she let her time lapse)

I've heard good things about it for the last two weeks and I decided to upgrade tonight. It's a little upsetting that the snapper plug in isn't available, hopefully someone will update that.The spell checking thing has been pretty handy in the first five minutes.

I think you can make school a bit more bearable if you find a subject to be interested in. I liked college because I got to take all the classes that I wanted to instead of 3 hours of math or something. High school was a bit rough because I didn't have one subject that I really looked forward to, there was nothing challenging or fun. I suppose joining some sort of afterschool club might have helped me out.

What was the hosting script that you used? Just so we know what to look out for...

That is a good quote. I try to make people feel good, so I hope that it is true.

To test this theory properly, they'd have to seperate the twins from each other and their biological parents and then compare their views on things 25 years later or something.

Follow everyone's advise about being yourself. But remember, the toughest part of anything that you are unsure about is that first step. TheMost nervous you'll ever be about anything is just before you do it. Once you start talking- you get over that first few seconds, you will be fine. So many people are so afraid of making that first step that they never do anything. And that's a shame. Once you have actually talked to her you will realize that it was nothing to stress out about.

Thanks for that link, Plenoptic. I've been scrambling around lately trying to gain credits since I've been so busy (about to start a second job) This just saved my life, and my website.

This was the first year that I can ever remember where I really didn't care who won the world series. It's kind of sad. I guess it was a combination of not really liking any of the players on either of the teams and being heartbroken over the Mets not getting in. I think I watched a total of 10 minutes of the entire series. And by reading the stories about the television ratings on this series, I guess a lot of people really didn't care much about it either.

The third one is so much better than the first two, you can actually ride the rides, make fireworks displays and put your own music in. It's also a lot more realistic looking. It's just too bad that it completely stopped working on my computer after a few months. I don't know what happened. I think it was a problem on my side.

Just listening to a girl is what'll make her feel better. Also, don't just say, "Hey, what's wrong? Why are you sad?" before she tells you she is This happens to me so often... I'll have allergies or something and people will go, "oh, you poor thing. Why are you so depressed?" Listening is the key to anything with girls. If you want to make them feel better, if you want them to like you. It's all about listening to them go on and on about their own troubles.

I was just afraid for that one moment.Right now, I've just got the one BBS hosted there. I've added on a photo gallery and I am trying to encourage the people who use the place to just upload as many pictures as they want. (I've got about 20 people who post there regularly, so it won't be a problem) I'll be moving a couple more sites over within the next week.

I think I went overboard, even with a site or two for my sisters and the few that I am going to be moving over, I don't think that I actually need 60,000 MB of space. haha. I think I am going to be on a mission, like with Gmail, to see how much I can fill up. It's working fine now. I guess it's never a good idea to wake up at 5:00 in the morning to check on things. That's when places usually do their backups and stuff, right? It's just that the majority of my sites users are in a timezone 13 hours away.

I needed A LOT of space and I didn't have a lot of money to spend, so a couple of weeks ago I went with a low priced too-good-to-be-true place. I got up this morning, ready to check in on things and I can't connect to my page or my FTP. Let's hope this is just some sort of site maintanence deal that has my site and their homepage down right now. It's frustrating. I know I need to look on the positive side and hope that it will all clear up soon but I don't know if I can trust that place yet.

I've had signatures blocked for a long time. Sorry, everyonee- I know some of you worked hard on your pictures, but I think that I did it when I still had dial-up. There's a guy at another forum that I post at where there's a limit to how many characters you can have in your signature there so he justs pastes this huge thing full of links and a picture of himself (not good *shiver*) into every post he makes. ahhh! I have him on ignore but some people quote him so I've had to block all images from his site. Awful, just awful.

how would you make cookie dough into a hollow ball? Now there's an interesting thing to try to figure out. You could figure out a way to have a hole on the inside before you put them into the oven but it seems that the dough would collapse onto itself during baking.

I'm also from Orange County, California and living in Texas now! Different places, though. I grew up in Huntington Beach and I now live near Austin. As far as family history goes- I know there's German and Swiss in my family, but my family has been in the united states for so long (I'm one eighth native american, so I guess thats a really long time) that we don't really identify with any of our ansectoral homelands.

LOL at jmpearso- such a typical guy thought. seddy, That's a very sad situation. I've known people who've gone through the same thing. You just need to try to take the good things from your time and focus on those. And then move on when you are ready. This is truely a case of "it's not you, it's me."

So I guess he edited out the bit about having 8 kids with four girls. I think crud2008 might watch too much Maury Povich. :)There are people in the world like that, though. I think that the best thing for anyone in that situation to do is be a man and leave the girlfriend. Really, it's going to be horrible when a girlfriend finds all of this stuff out. If a guy wants to be a player and sleep with tons of girls then he shouldn't have a girlfriend.

It's the same sort of princple as a cream puff, isn't it? With a cookie instead of a pastry. Youd have to have a cookie that was somewhat fluffy on the inside and with the small size, as velocityprofiles suggests, you'd have to inject them while they were hot. You'd have to use sort of softserve homemade ice cream. But, yeah, if it was possible to do I would definetly eat that. Regular ice cream sandwiches are onew of my favorite "cheating foods" in the world.

Trap 17 had been the best free hosting experience I've had, by far. There was another really good one, I don't remember what it was called, but you didn't have to post to get hosting and it gave you pretty much the same deal as we have here. It was too good to be true, though, as those sorts of sites usually pack up in the middle of the night and go offline without an explaination to anyone. That happened to me twice befor I got here.I've also signed up for lots of free space with that place ads on your sites. Tripod's service is good, and they are ok if you've just got a plain html site. You can't get to tricky there. it's just having the top 1/4 of your page taken up by ads and toolbars that is unacceptable. Oh! and the fact that you can't hotlink isn't good. Many of the smaller places that place ads on your page that I've tried don't offer an awful lot of options for what you can do, either.
