  1. Geh... the first computer!? I have the worst memory ever, but I think it ran on Windows 98. Or maybe that was the second oldest... >_> But I remember one of the old computers we had didn't even have a standard floppy disk drive. Instead, it ONLY supported those mega floppy disks (I don't know their exact names, but they were basically these humongo 'disks'). We had a 24k modem at the time (which is completely horrifying to imagine right now XD) and the graphics were... eh... pretty bad. All I remember playing on the computer was Packman. And I think that was the ONLY game the computer was capable of running. What a scary thought...
  2. Wow... nifty! At first I didn't see anything when I zoomed in, and then I realized that you had to zoom 'all the way'... heh, loved it~ ^o^ What a moon!
  3. Hmm... I've always thought of jurisdiction in terms of the courts. Each court has its own separate jurisdiction (though some courts may have concurrent jurisdiction), or 'territory' where it can exercise its power. But it's not exactly a geographic matter. For example, the federal court's jurisdiction includes the Consitution, the national government, and federal laws. State courts, on the other hand, have jurisdiction over matters like divorces, criminal cases, traffic violations, and other more state oriented issues.Eh, this is kind of hard to describe... it really is 'food for thought '>_<
  4. Wah, civil examiners use this test!? I just tested my speed and it came out even higher than with that less informal one. I got 86WPM. hmm...
  5. Go to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Select Crazy Phrases and five sentences to test your typing speed. I got 81 WPM! ^__^ I'm a naturally fast typer for some reason... maybe it's from all those emails and forum posting... heh. I should be a secretary when I grow up or something XD
  6. Hmm... I just arrived here yesterday, but I think I spent 3-4 hours moseying around in the forum. Forum posting really gets addictive after a while. And plus, I learned A LOT just by reading others' posts here at Xisto!! *is very proud of herself*
  7. Wah! I love it!! How long did the rendering take you? I doubt I'd ever have the patience to complete such a large scale project in Photoshop. (I used to have some kind of a fascination w/CCS a looong time ago =___=)
  8. Same here! I just archive all my messages, even though I'll never need them again. I might do some Gmail cleaning once I reach over 70% usage... hah, like that's ever gonna happen w/over 2GB worth of space!
  9. Yup! I have a 32MB USB pen drive from Apacer. One of my friends' dad got a FREE 2GB USB drive from a meeting/convention thing for his business >_> I wish I had one with so much capacity, not that I'd need all the space or anything, still......
  10. eeeh.... this topic is too intense for my poor brain. I think I heard the words 'moral fibre' mentioned somewhere before... didn't know it had anything to do with getting girls though =___=;;
  11. Wow... I'm speechless. Great article, by the way!If I had the patience, time, and effort to do all that, I certainly have a few thing's I'd like to try on some people, mwhaha... *cough* But this 'power persuation' thing really delves deep into one's psychological state of mind, huh?
  12. Eek! I hope Google never shuts down their Gmail service. >_< I keep A LOT of my important files in there. But then again, it must be pretty hard to keep it up if you're giving out ~2GB worth of space for email storage, especially since most people have managed to get their hands on an invite by now.And same here. I still have 50 Gmail invites even though I've definitely already invited 5+ people. Weird...
  13. I must be Google challemged or something. I had no idea that Google had all these new features until now. But this homepage thing isn't really as useful as the other Google tools. Then again, I never found homepage thingies useful >_>
  14. Wow! Thank so much for these links!! I think I've heard of something similar to the Gmail downloader you mentioned, but never went about to check it out. It'll definitely be useful in hosting files on my site~
  15. Heh, firewalls.... I don't have any firewalls or routers, so that might explain it
  16. Eeeh, I went to check it out, but Google said they had already reached their "maximum capacity of users" >___< Which means no testing out for me for a while...
  17. Like a whole bunch of others, I'm looking forward to Google providing some kind of webhosting service. Imagine the speed and versatility!!
  18. Oh, wow! I didn't know that was even possible!! It must have took a whole lot of time to complete though...
  19. That is pretty darned amazing. I never even knew of all these goodies until I came to the Xisto forums!! It's like having Mapquest on your desktop (only with the whole universe included in the package XD). These Google Earth thing should keep me busy for a while, hehe
  20. Firefox all the way! I love how the browser is so fully customizable. If you don't like the plainess of its functions, you can always download additional extentions to satify your internet-browsing needs. Plus, you have the choice of tons of cool skins to improve the browser's visual appearance. I think the main reason why Firefox's so appealing so many people is its speed. I'm pretty sure I'm not imagining things when I feel that websites load a whole lot faster in Firefox than IE. (and also, you get less viruses, adware, and whatnot by using Firefox) ^___^Oh, and the tabs!!! I love the whole tabbing idea and just add it together with the famous Tabbrowser Extensions and you're ready to take on the internet!
  21. Hmm... maybe I should download that :/ But I like how the Firefox interface is so simple and clean. I'd hate to clutter it up with a random Google toolbar. Plus, I can just go to Google.com and access the main features and whatever. I really like the idea of a SpellCheck function though XD I'd probably need that sooner or later...
  22. I'm not sure how big my monitor is either (but it's a pretty decent size ). My resolution's 800x600 though. I can't stand 1024x768 resolution either. It literally kills my eyes and I have to squint and move the monitor up close just to read the text on websites. o_o
  23. Gah, I never even noticed all that! But I like Firefox the way it is, so I don't see why Mozilla'd let Google buy it over. >_< Google is Google, Firefox is Firefox!!
  24. I don't even have an Ipod, forget an Ipod Mini >_>I've seen them before and they look pretty cool~ But I still prefer the good old mp3 player just because I don't want to have to spend a whole bunch of money buying an ipod and then having to paying some money to download songs to store. Actually, I'm just lazy to get one. =P Plus, my mp3 player is 100x smaller than an Ipod Mini and I'm the kind of person who loves convenience, so... yah
  25. Eh... I'm only using 10% in Gmail, and that's with keeping all the emails and files I'm received/sent in this half-year or so. Afterall, Gmail's proving over 2 GB of storage, so it's kinda impossible to use up all that much space in your account. Not having to worry at all about your storage is a huge plus!
